Rate this book
Andi, Riley, and baby make three! Welcoming their first child is this young couple's biggest adventure yet. But having a baby by her side isn't slowing Andi down.

When the folks back at Circle C need her help, she and little Jared ride straight in to take charge--and find a startling surprise! And that's just the beginning of the first three years of Jared's life on Memory Creek ranch. From pony problems to unexpected injuries to a stranger invasion, this young family is anything but boring.

The wait is over for new stories featuring your favorite frontier heroine and her life in the old West of the 1800s. With danger, drama, and a solid foundation of faith and fun, this collection of stories is full of everything Andi's fans love--with a new generation to keep the exciting times going!

HOMESCHOOL MOM BY DAY . . . NOVEL WRITER BY NIGHT. Susan began writing stories when she was ten years old. As an adult, she homeschooled teenagers and cared for toddlers during the day, and then escaped into the Old West at night by writing her “Andi” stories. She never intended to become a published author.

However, with the publication in 2005 of her first novel, Andrea Carter and the Long Ride Home, Susan discovered that it really is more fun to share her stories with others than to keep them to herself.

Susan is the author of six historical adventure series for kids: Circle C Beginnings (ages 6-9), Circle C Stepping Stones (ages 7-10), Circle C Adventures (ages 9-13), Circle C Milestones (ages 11 and up), and the Goldtown series: Goldtown Beginnings (ages 6-9), and Goldtown Adventures (ages 9-13), with over 225,000 books in print with Kregel Publications. A brand-new historical series releases May of 2027. She enjoys helping young writers learn to improve their writing with her Writing Workshop. Susan is also a freelance editor. She and her husband, Roger, live on fourteen acres of ponderosa pine at 3,500 feet in north-central Washington state.

Life has not calmed down for the Prescotts since the last installment in the series (Yosemite at Last: And Other Tales from Memory Creek Ranch). Some of their newest adventures include having old friends (and enemies) reappear, finding a stranger in their hidden glade, Andi learning a few fresh lessons on forgiveness and gratitude, a rabid raccoon sneaking in during the dead of night, and Andi and Riley experiencing the biggest surprise of their lives when they try to enjoy a relaxing visit with Kate and the kids in San Francisco. These adventures test Andi's faith and help her mature as a wife and mother.
Some of my favorite stories were "Winter Ice for Summer" (one of the FOUR new stories since Kregel re-published the book), "Nanny Riley" (this story still makes me smile, even two years after it was first released . . . and especially now with fresh short scenes and details woven in), "A Night to Remember" (also new - and confirms that hands down, Riley is my favorite fictional male character ever), and "San Francisco Suprise" (you'll find out why I like this one when you read it *winks*).
I would 100% recommend this book to long-time Andi fans who've enjoyed the former five books in the Circle C Milestones series (Thick as Thieves, Heartbreak Trail, The Last Ride, Courageous Love, and Yosemite at Last). Once again, like the rest of Mrs. Marlow's books, readers can rest assured that outside of a few hugs and kisses, there is absolutely no sexual content.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.

What a great ending to the Circle C Ranch series! My favorite stories were Nanny Riley, Winning Isn’t Everything, and San Francisco Surprise. Really, I liked them all. Lol

Audiobook: I enjoyed this book which featured a selection of events which happened in Andi's and Riley's lives after the birth of their son, Jared. Some of the events were exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat, and all the events had an emotional impact on me. Because I knew this was the last book which featured Andi, I listened to this audiobook with sweet sorrow. I have been entertained by Andi and her life from the time she was young until now that she is a young woman and mother. Andi's stories have been exciting, tumultuous, and engendered a variety of emotions, both happy and sad. I have enjoyed Annette Romano's narration as her performance enhanced my appreciation for this series. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
