Three alphas forced to unite to defend their territory—fated to a she-wolf with starlight in her eyes and destiny in her blood.
All my life, I thought I was the only one.
Not a wolf. Not a woman. Just some freak in between. A mistake. A monster.
Abomination.
Abandoned and dismissed. Shunned and forgotten.
Until they find me.
Ewan. Lucian. Soren.
Men and wolves. Three possessive alpha wolf shifters, so sure Lady Fate built me for them and them for me that they steal me away in the dead of night. Give me food, clothing, and a home of my own.
Crown me queen of their new pack.
But this pack is a mess, nothing but a bunch of alphas fighting for control. They hate sharing me almost as much as they despise each other. No teamwork. No camaraderie. No support—just ego and competition.
I’ll show them. Being an alpha isn’t just about mating, marking, and starting a bloodline…
It’s so much more.
After a lifetime in the forest, I don’t know much about this shifter business, but I know how to be wild.
It’s time for my stubborn fated mates to remember what we are…
Wolves.
Because if we don’t embrace the wild in our bones, we’ll lose everything to the rivals sniffing at our borders—and the ancient evil lurking right under our noses.
This edition includes the complete Bloodline trilogy -- Raised by Wolves (1), Hunted by Wolves (2), and Loved by Wolves (3) -- plus the trilogy's bonus content. It is a why-choose wolf shifter romance that features fated mates but not insta-love. It is intended for readers 18+. No cheating. No rejected mates. No OW.
Rhea Watson is a Canadian paranormal romance author who writes lone wolves and found family, fated mates and forever love. She dreams about living in a cottage in the woods that would make any fairytale witch jealous, and wishes every day was Halloween.
In her spare time, Rhea babies her herb garden, watches hilariously bad horror movies with her own hero, bows to her cat's every whim, and flies through Netflix shows like it's her day job.
I really enjoyed this trilogy! I loved Lyssa’s alpha character – her fierce, protective nature and killer capabilities. I enjoyed her determination to unite this pack of misfit alpha wolf shifters through showing them how a true wolf pack should behave. I will admit though, that her ongoing anxieties stemming from her past were a bit much at times.
I enjoyed the fated mate aspect of this story – how the men’s wolves acted on instinct and biology when they first encountered Lyssa. I was glad that the men themselves had some reservations about jumping on the fated mate train so quickly due to concerns surrounding Lyssa’s mysterious past. I liked the somewhat shaky friendships that developed with Lyssa, despite the friction between the men. And as the story unfolded, I enjoyed the sense of belonging and unity that resulted within the pack when everyone laid their secrets bare, becoming fiercely protective of each other, and leaving all the past pettiness behind.
The story has plenty of shifter-style action & adventure, some drama, suspense, mystery, magic, danger, conflict, some brutal violence and plenty of angst. There’s also some dirty talk along with explicit MF and MFM encounters, but no MM scenes.
Bloodline Trilogy Book 1: - Soren, Lucian and Ewan are lone wolf shifters who formed an alliance to combine land and make themselves stronger. By chance they find their she-wolf (Lyssa) but soon realize that being raised by wolves has made her wild and unfamiliar with social norms. The mmcs drop Lyssa at their house and leave her overnight to “decompress”. When she howls dor her mates, its only Lucian that returns to care for her.
- Ewan drops a scared Lyssa off at his friend Rosa’s salon for a makeover so he can attend a work meeting. Rosa and her husband Ethan then drive Lyssa home as Ewan never returns for her.
- We see Lyssa struggle to become the perfect mate, fearing her men could leave her. She spends her days dressing up to surprise Ewan at work or watching romance movies to learn social norms, yet the men prioritize work and avoid coming home to her.
- I felt Ewan was especially cruel, here were some things that made me want to punch him:
When dropping her at the salon… “This evening you need all of … this taken care of”
“You risked all our futures tonight. You can’t birth the next alpha if you’re dead—”
“if she wasn’t already pregnant I’d have to give it a go sometime soon”
————————————————————————— Book 2: - Book 1 ends with Soren spending time with Lyssa when she stops and drinks from Gull River. While everyone who has previously drank from it died, Lyssa receives weird powers and golden eyes. She begins having dreams of a dead goddess Idunn and an apple orchard.
- Rosa and Ethan try to help Lyssa master these new strong powers, but she eventually runs away, telling her mates she will return when she isn’t a danger to them.
—————————————————————————
Book 3: - As she is running away, Lyssa feels a sharp pain in the bond and runs back for her mates. She confronts the Alpha of the Hawthorne pack (trying to take over their land) to save Lucian who is chained in silver. The Alpha shoots and kills her, only for her to return to life and rip his heart out. (idk where Soren and Ewan were and why they never helped Lucian? Its never explained?).
- After healing from the brutal attack (the alpha was sawing through Lucian’s throat), Lyssa chases Lucian when he runs away (having been traumatized by seeing Lyssa die). Stronger than ever, Lyssa gets visited by the god Loki.
- The last 100 pages a lot happens. We find out that Ethan was trying to steal Lyssa’s powers to become a god himself. He is killed and Loki gives Lyssa magic seeds to plant into an orchard. Anyone who eats these apples gets young again, and Lyssa with her wolves protect it with their lives while numerous gods visit and eat.
Overall: I felt like the pack really didn’t work. They were “fated mates”, but either oblivious or didn’t really care about each others’ needs. Lyssa’s fated mates never really addressed how she was soo lonely, insecure and worried they would leave her. In book 2, Soren is practically begging Lyssa to watch some halloween movies with her because of his family traditions, and she doesn’t even really seem to care that he is so disappointed she refuses to. Lyssa’s response “some of us get really testy when things don’t go our way” proves this

If you don't like cliffhangers and waiting on the next book to see what happens, this is the way to go. The Bloodline trilogy all in one set = no waiting. The only question is whether you can put it down and get some sleep in there somewhere. This trilogy is basically about wolf shifters, fated mates in a reverse harem setting, and building a pack and family. Of course, there's plenty more besides that, including some dangerous enemies, some betrayal, and even a bit of Norse mythology. To sum it up, Rhea Watson has penned a sexy romance with action, danger, and edge of your seat tension all rolled up in an impossible-to-put-down trilogy.
This set was my first introduction to Rhea Watson and I went in blind, and am so glad I did! I won't lie, the cover is what made me buy the paperback. I didn't even read the blurb, though I knew it would be RH based on my searches. But this Trilogy. THIS TRILOGY! Agh! It's so good! Better than good! The characters are complex and beautifully written. The plot is intriguing and will have you turning the page even when you have to stop reading! Easy five stars, and thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish!
It’s a good plot. Really good. But it took me the first two and a half books before I started to like the male characters. Lyssa and Rosa were loved throughout but it was just hard to read about men that weren’t respectful to each other, some barely even respectful to their mate. I pushed through to finish the book for the plot. I know writing is hard and writing a trilogy should be celebrated. That’s why there are 4 stars. Work was put into this series. I can see it. Just too much filler details for my taste.
This why choose fated mates trilogy was freaking awesome! I was not expecting me to finish it in two day! Maybe three but STILL Lyssa, Ewan, Lucien, and Soren were literally made for each other. The character development was top tier. The plot kept me engaged. The spice kept it interesting. The groups scenes kept it hot! I love everything about this trilogy! Rhea babe! You did the damn thing!
I'm giving it a 3 stars because other reviews say it's a good story later on but I'm about 20% into the book and I'm still having to force read it. I hate forcing myself to read, it removes everything I love about reading. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for this book right now.
It's a DNF for right now, maybe I'll circle back around to it at a later date. If I do I will update my review and rating.
In a way it's a living book showing how people work together even with there own Demons to deal with. There is love, trust to earn and patience to have. But each has to work at their demons before they can become whole which starts to happen at a bonfire with no judgment Spice level 3/4 *
Not a bad book. Slow at times to get really stuck into, but a good story. I was confused how the 4 alphas would be able to come together, but they did and it was a good read.
Such an amazing series. The dynamic of the group figuring out how to work together and care for each other is *chef’s kiss*. The heroine does NOT take any crap from her mates, and I love that about her. She is an alpha in her own right, and doesn’t hesitate to remind them when they need it.
The story line was interesting. There was so much mind dialogue that I swear words were hardly spoken between the characters. I found that the wording droned on and on. I would not recommend the book to another person to read.
I loved it so much. I really enjoyed the way they all found each other. The trials they endured as they grew and evolved into the great characters they were meant to be. Lucian is my favorite but I adored them all. Especially Lyssa!
Really enjoyed the book, some bits I skipped as I understood main character was going to be insecure etc so I skim read those parts but over all loved the trilogy.
