When she’s thrown back in time to 16th century Scotland, Cassidy finds herself assisting a supernatural being and falling in love with handsome William…
Former Hollywood agent and babysitter to the stars Cassidy Keene is used to dealing with spoiled brats and being alone, since finding a real relationship is impossible. But when a drunken star drives them into a palm tree at a hundred miles an hour, she wakes in the waters of Loch Ness—hundreds of years in the past—only the cheerful, drunken idiot with her is not the star she was babysitting.
Docks quartermaster William Grant keeps things shipshape for the fishermen and Watchmen of the Keep, so he’s less than enthused when a half-drowned future woman and a completely blitzed Sidhe crawl up onto his docks. He doesn’t have time to babysitter either of them, but the Sidhe turns out to the Fae King’s son, and he wants William to show him the Grant lands.
Uniquely qualified to assist William with this request, and she offers to help manage the flighty Sidhe noble. But there are witch hunters in the area, ones who care not if you are a witch or Sidhe and are ready to burn either at the stake, along with those who assist and protect them.

Book:Managed by the Highlander: A Highlander Time Travel Romance
By Rebecca Preston Series: Highlander Forever, Book #10 Release Date: November 18, 2021 Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars Blog Rating: 5/5 Saltire Flag
Present Day: Los Angeles, California Past Day: The Highlands, Scotland (Loch Ness)
Cassidy Keene was an agent assistant in LosAngeles for actors and hopefully the next big name in the Hollywood film industry. Now Cassidy was trying to convince her boss that this egotistical actor, Mark Star, whose stage name was so very typical-as agents you could not help but laugh or roll your eyes! Yet Cassidy thought he was the next big thing, like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt. He was very talented and attractive, but extremely irresponsible and immature and thought life was one big party always showing up late for auditions or not showing up at all or when he did he was very intoxicated! Her boss saw he was a loser immediately but basically put Cassidy on babysitting duty.
He was the typical egotistical actor who never took responsibilities for his actions! Furthermore, his wealthy, real-estate broker Daddy, got him out of any legal trouble he landed in. Except his latest escapade landed him in jail with a DUI, so Cassidy paid his bail and needed to sober him up quickly, as he was needed on set immediately. Except the police had taken his license away and he stole Cassidy’s car with her in the passenger seat holding on for dear life and going a hundred miles an hour! The last thing she remembers was them headed for a palm tree head on! Except they landed in water except with no sign of Mark. Furthermore they had not crashed near any water which was absolutely mind blowing! Now there was this beautiful and peculiar man who is saving her and his name is Moongazer. Cassidy just assumed his parents were former hippies, after-all she is from California some call it the land of fruits and nuts!
At first Cassidy Keene, assistant Hollywood agent, thought she was on a movie set as this scenario was so surreal and typical for a sci-fi film. At second thought she thinks it is some type of historical reenactment, but suddenly another gorgeous man appeared and informed her that this man called Moongazer is a magic man called a Sidhe! However the mind blowing shock was that this attractive man informed her she just traveled through time and was in the past! Not just a couple weeks, but hundreds of years, in sixteenth century Scotland and on Loch Ness. Furthermore she is mostly likely dead in her own time in the future, as she is not the first future person that landed here through tragedy from some fatal accident. The hard fact was there is no way to return to her own time as others have tried. This was absolutely too much to take in at once for Cassidy, but somehow she knew this man was telling her the truth.
This man named William Grant who is the Quatermaster, to watch over the Loch to make sure everything ran safe and smoothly. Except he detests the Sidhe and plus this isn’t any sidhe it’s a Sidhe Nobleman, as if that isn’t enough it’s the fae Kings son. William feels he does not have the time or patience to watch over this Sidhe Prince, besides the fact he’s very attracted to this future woman Cassidy Keene and the feeling is very neutral as she finds this Highland Quartermaster absolutely gorgeous but kind, honorable and protective too.
Now the Fae Kings son wants a tour of the Grant lands at and round Urquhart Castle. So Cassidy offers to assist and help William. The other problem is there are witch hunters looking for supernatural being to torture and burn at the stake. Not only that but these witch hunter will kill anyone who helps any supernatural being which will put William and Cassidy in a dangerous situation. So William must protect the spoiled Sidhe Prince and the woman who is already starting to own his heart.
As being from the future will make her a possible target as well, Cassidy is dead in her world as there is no way to possibly return to the twenty-first century alive. Non of the other women from her century have been able to return and many have tried. So it is best to accept her life in the past and try to find happiness, something Cassidy never has had. Now with William there is a possibility to have a happily ever after. Well as long as the witch hunters stay off her trail! Do William and Cassidy have a chance for future happiness? Read and find out!
Another captivating time-travel romance that readers won’t be able to put down. I read in one setting as I was totally mesmerized and spell bound by this breathtaking spell. The author definite has a spell over me as Rebecca Preston novels are so clever and brilliant in my humble opinion. In each book I have read the couples are definitely made for each other where time and distance could not keep these soulmates apart. I can’t recommend this book enough as it’s a definte must read book. You can read this as stand alone book if this is a new author for you. Of course you can read in series order like I do too, as it’s so easily to kept totally swept away in each phenomenal story. Which ever you chose you will absolutely love Manage by the Highlander of this I guarantee another beautiful cinnamon bun story!

Rebecca Preston’s “Managed By The Highlander: A Scottish Time Travel Romance (Highlander Forever Book 10)” is another good read from this author.
This story seems a bit different in that Cassidy our heroine seems to acclimate to her situation and surroundings a lot quicker than the other ladies in the series. Her job as an agent to an up-and-coming Hollywood star has turned into a babysitting job and then he takes her car, driving at 100 miles an hour and slams into a tree. The next thing she knows she’s being pulled out of the loch by the most handsome man she’s ever seen, a Sidhe, named Moongazer, the fae Kings son. Docks quartermaster William Grant keeps things shipshape for the fishermen and Watchmen of the Keep. Detesting the fae and their like ilk, William’s not enthused but the Fae prince wants William to show him the Grant lands. Cassidy offers to to keep the Sidhe Prince in line if William agrees and so begins our adventure.
This is another captivating story that will hold you spellbound as the author weaves her magic into words. I always enjoy Rebecca Preston’s books because the writing is so well done and I’m a sucker for a time travel romance. With interesting, intriguing characters and a good storyline the author renders a fine story.
Thank you so much Ms. Preston for this enjoyable read.
Another fun time in Mideval Scotland! Cassidy was a personal assistant to a well known talent agent, until an actor she was ‘babysitting’ drove them into a palm tree. She found herself surrounded by water and accompanied by a strange male who assisted her to shore, where they were met by William Grant. Lord Moongazer, the Sidhe king’s youngest son, was known to William, but Cassidy was not. Realizing she was another woman who travelled through time to sixteenth century Scotland, William took her to the Keep. She and William were soon put in charge of keeping Lord Moongazer out of trouble, which proved to be quite the challenge. There is a lightheartedness to this story as the three of them scamper around between the Keep and town, which makes it all the more terrifying when they run afoul of the witch hunters. Of course, William is tall, broad, handsome and formidable….and Cassidy is lythe, beautiful and smart. They are adorable together as they attempt to wrangle Moongazer, who seems so innocent as he blithely creates chaos. This story is a quick, amusing, entertaining read!

Outrageous how Cassidy was at the mercy of her clients! With all the practice she already had, it was no wonder the Sidhe had their eye on her. I laughed a lot at the situations she had to handle and with the young nobleman funny character that kept me intrigued, in anticipation of his next mischief. I was surprised by this character! Enjoyed Cassidy’s quick and witty thinking, the effort she put to avoid greater consequences and the way she dealt with her attraction to William. I found interesting William’s character and the perception that others had of him. Entertaining that there are a variety of women from the future with different skills that keep me looking forward to what they are going to do. Liked this story full of mischief, suspense, adventure, danger, romance and passion that I liked.

Agent to the Hollywood stars (aka Babysitter to spoiled brats) Cassidy is chasing her latest "wannabe" when they are in a crash and she wakes in the middle of Loch Ness, years in the past and her "new" charge is Sidhe prince. They are rescued by William Grant who just doesn't have time but the woman from the future is fascinating, even if he has to deal with the Fae king's son. Fast paced adventure with a grumpy hero, an overachieving woman from the future and a Fae prince as they attempt to avoid danger and find an HEA. I loved the characters and the situation they find themselves in as well as the relationship between the leads. Enjoyable read. Works as a standalone.
I am a huge fan of Rebecca Preston and her Highlander Time Travel Romances. Highlander Forever series is one of my favorite time travel romance series and "Managed By The Highlander" has to be the most fun story of this series. I absolutely loved this book! Cassidy and William have undeniable chemistry and their story has all the emotions, adventure, drama, and romance that kept me up late turning the pages. This is another great, easy read and as always I am looking forward to what comes next from Rebecca Preston.
Delightful historical time travel romance. This series of time travel books have been entertaining and enjoyable. The characters have some difficulty as she’s from 2021 and he’s in the 1600’s. Magic is added with a magical prince from the Sidhe who causes havoc wherever he goes. Cassidy and William are tasked with managing him. It makes the book delightful and puts them all in danger. I received a complimentary copy of the book and chos to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Preston.
Cassidy Keane is an agent for Los Angeles actors who spends half her time babysitting or getting actors out of trouble. When a drunken actor commandeers her car with her in it, and crashes it she wakes up in Loch Ness – in Scotland - in the 16th century It is here she meets William and Lord Moongazer who is a Sidhe prince.
This is an easy to read fun story. Read along as Cassidy and William have to babysit Moongazer to try and keep him out of trouble.

The tenth book in the Highlander Forever series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Former Hollywood agent and babysitter to the stars Cassidy Keene gets sent back in time to 16th century Scotland where she meets Docks quartermaster William Grant and Sidhe Prince Lord Moongazer. There is suspense, drama, danger, a villain, twists, turns, and romance. The story was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’ve read just about all of Rebecca Preston’s books, and this by far is the least interesting and most boring of all. There is nothing interesting between perhaps 15% in and 75% in. You could pretty much skip all of that and not lose track of the story. And the last 25% is overly simplistic. Don’t know what happened for her to have written such an unusually poor book—I normally really enjoy Preston’s books, but this one was definitely one to skip.
This was a fun read. The story kept me entertained and I liked the characters. I thought Cassidy and William had terrific chemistry and I enjoyed the sparks they generated. I found the blend of drama, adventure, emotion, tension, danger and romance quite enticing. This is my elective, objective review.
I am going to go out on a limb and say that this is by far the most fun of the series so far, despite Maggie and Darter only making a brief appearance. Cassidy and William are faced with having to deal with the toddler like behaviour of a visiting ally, while Cassidy tries to acclimate to her new life. Father Caleb really comes into his own in this one too. Good light hearted fun.
I had to smile at the analogy between Cassidy‘s life in present day LA and 1600s Scotland. I enjoyed stark difference between William and Moongazer. It’s just amazing how much trouble one can get into when you never think of consequences. This was an enjoyable time travel story with the lovely HEA.

This was a wonderful story that is well written passionate and soul winking good. It is a short story but there’s enough action, dama, fun bantering, twists and emotional impact weaved into the storyline to leave the reader satisfied with their visit to creatively imagined.

She is an assistant to actors and one steals her car with her in it and crashes it. They end up in Scotland 1600. This one will have you laughing. They end up as babysitters to Moongazer. Great characters and story

Arc review For honest Review. Cassidy keen is a talent agent in Los Angeles and when her client mark star is drunk she finds herself in a accident that sends her back to the 16 century Scotland. This story was very interesting.
Absolutely Awesome Read, beautifully written, great characters, Awesome story line, easy read to hold you on their journey, this genre might not be for everyone, but it’s a really wonderful story cannot wait for more from this Author.
I enjoyed this book as I have all in the series. This was a little different, in that the time traveler didn't really struggle with the transition and there was no mention of William having lost someone. It was a fun read even as it was a change
I just can’t get enough of this series. Another amazing read. I was so engrossed in the book I couldn’t put it down captivating storyline with characters that were amazing well written

This is one of the best of this series, completely identifiable characters, thorough bully trouncing and a wonderful ending. Really love the entire series but, this one really stands out.
That this is the last book in the series. I have enjoyed every book in the series and hope (maybe) there will be others! If you enjoy time travel stories, don't miss the series.
I have enjoyed this book. I have read the other stories and it just makes you think of all the hardships people fled before modern times. It turned out good for William and Cassidy.
Really enjoyed the interesting and engaging charters, witty dialog, heart racing danger, exciting twists and undeniable passion. Loved this action packed and magical journey through time.
