Guilty
Paul Tait just wanted to have fun; it didn’t matter how he acquired it. For him, it was just one of these ordinary nights where he would have a different girl next to him, whilst hanging out with his friends at the pub. As long as everything was the way he wanted it to be, there would be no problem. Unfortunately, that one night, something came up...and for Paul, it was a problem.
Steve Grey and Tim Harding were at the wrong place and at the wrong time when they visited the Iron Mitre Pub one Friday night. All they wanted was to have a few drinks, and maybe get to know some new people whilst in there. What they didn’t know was on that fateful night, they would fall into a trap.
When Steve awoke in a hospital after a car crash, there were answers needed - and these were answers he did not have. If he had nothing, he would find himself getting on a path that he never imagined in his life he would be taking.
Meanwhile, Melanie had questions on what transpired that same Friday night – why her friend Jessica was now lying in a hospital bed in a coma. She wanted to find answers, but she knew for her to find it, she would need to brave the uncertainty and face her biggest nightmare.

At present, I am currently writing my latest novel called "Touched" of which will be released later this year.

Like most authors, the big time is the ultimate dream. I am by no means a professional writer and certainly no proof reader, but somebody who has a few stories to tell.
It is nice to be able to switch off and away from any negatives on a day to day basis and then drift off into my own space to write.
A writing course educated me in thinking that nothing is poor, nothing is bad. The people that reflect on such things are purely suggesting that their opinion differs to others.
Also, a writer should not write for the view of others, a writer should write for themselves and they will eventually create their own audience.

There is a saying that goes, “Justice delayed is justice denied”, and this is a perfect example of this. An innocent life of one person can suffer, and ultimately be sacrificed because of the delay of someone else coming forward. It is a story that will make you feel like you want to right the wrongs, and feel vindicated in the end. Kudos to the author, Mark D Radford, for creating different kinds of stories that would keep the readers on their toes. Mark D Radford's writing talent has, once again, shined through in this short story.
