A great collection of seasonal recipes from Prue and Paul and some of the bake off contestants.

This collection contains one of my favourite all time baking recipes - Prue's Vegan Sausage Rolls, they are absolutely delicious and have made them many times now, everyone who has tried them thinks they're amazing. They also keep well in the freezer so you can have some ready made to use when you need some These are in the autumn section of this book but we have found them perfect for beach picnics too. There's quite a long list of ingredients but they taste so good it's worth the work making them, they're mainly made of mushrooms, walnuts and puy lentils but have lots of other flavours in them, I will be making some to have ready for Christmas soon. Highly recommended, I would buy this book for the vegan sausage roll recipe alone!

I must admit, I did ask myself, do I really need another Bake Off book? This one is a great book, there are the usual bakers and Judges recipe selections, but some of my favourites are actually just the normal recipes from the book! Done to chime with the seasons, it definitely ties in with post lockdown life, which is spoken about in both Prue and Paul’s introductions. Some are easier and some more challenging. All are absolutely gorgeous in the pictures, which are beautifully styled, but quite doable for the home baker. For me the cakes are the star of this one. Though Paul’s jammy biscuits and caramel biscuit bars plus George’s kourabiethes and the pumpkin rolls all look

I'm a long time fan of The Great British Baking Show and have all the accompanying cookbooks. This newest volume was a disappointment. Each of the contestants only contributed 1 recipe & Paul & Prue only contributed a couple. Many, many of the recipes were not featured on the show - they just appear to be some random selection of recipes chosen to "pad" out the book.
The pictures are ,as always lovely. I'm beginning to think the show - and the books have run their course.

I found this less interesting than the other GBBO cookbooks I’ve read. As another reviewer noted, a lot of these recipes don’t seem to have a connection to the show. There were also recipes like the Blackcurrant and Almond Cake that had complex construction and would’ve benefitted from step-by-step photos of the trickiest part of the process. I did not find a lot of recipes I’d be interested in trying, and many required special ingredients.

This is not a knock on the book, but an FYI for other readers with nut allergies- there are a lot of recipes in this cookbook that require nuts.

This is my favourite baking book. I love that it splits it into seasons so you can use fresh ingredients catered for that season (within the UK). I always want to try to buy locally and ethically where I can and I find that this book helps with that. Inside the book is a little chart that displays what months the UK are able to get certain fruit and veg at their best which I always refer back to.

Beautiful pictures and instructions. Not sure if I will be ever talented enough to make anything within its pages though.

I liked the seasonality set up of this cookbook. Not crazy about the actual recipes, though.

Another good TGBBO book! I did enjoy some of the recipes featured and look forward to trying them. Again, some of the recipes featured I am unable to do due to my food allergy but that doesn't mean someone else could try them!
