Based on real events, this story will grip your heart. John Carlos Martin, a journalist who was assigned to follow the life of a senator, stumbled on something that will tell the truth. In the course of his assignment he met and fell in love with Tessa Lopez, a physician.
When I started reading this book, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The cover intrigued me, and that was enough to catch my attention.
The story inside turned out to be a fast-paced read about a man falling in love for a second time. Except, things aren’t that simple. The MC JC Martin has a desire to use astral travel. In doing so, he finds his path in life which will eventually lead to his true love, problem is, he’ll have to survive at lot of obstacles first.
There are plenty of twists and turns in this story, which I always enjoy. I also loved the unique blend of genres that come together to really make this story pop—action, suspense, romance, and politics. The most interesting part is the fact that this is allegedly based on real events. Definitely worth a read if you’re looking for something a little different.
I found the bits about astral projection fascinating as well as the how and why the character John was interested in it. I didn’t start to get into the book until chapter two when the author introduces Kate, a possible love interest. But then chapter three jumped back to what happened in chapter one and it really peaked my interest. I loved the suspense, mystery and danger!
Chapter 53 was a HUGE one. It was so long but, I really get a kick when you find out the meaning of the books title and that is what happened here. Hang in until the end and you won’t be disappointed.
Love and Astral Projection Good story, good characters, and good writing. What else do you need? Oh, astral projection. Yeah I liked it, we need more stories that entertain and educate rather than the typical cookie cutter novel about the same set of characters going through the same set of obstacles and Bungled does just that. This is the second book I've read by this author and he is steadily becoming the next Paulo Coelho. Using astral projection as a tool to find mystery, suspense, and new love is a great concept. A fast paced intelligent and fun read, definitely worth a read.
What do you look for in a novel? Suspense, drama, or love? They are all woven into BUNGLED. A journalist was assigned to cover the life of a senator and on his quest for truth, he stumbled on some facts that would change the course of history. He went to Nepal to know what is astral travel and if he could do it successfully. His purpose was to speak with a loved one who died in a car crash with him driving. However, in his assignment to follow the life of the senator, he met a dashing physician who would become his true love. Read it and you´ll surely enjoy the twist and turns of the plot.
A fast paced thriller that will keep you glued to the couch. The story has many twists and turns that make for an interesting read. The story begins with JC Martin's meeting with the Raj Guru in Nepal. He wants to learn about astral travel. The events that unfold are intriguing. In his quest, JC has to overcome many obstacles. The book has its fair share of romance and suspense. If you like reading suspense thrillers, then you must read this book. Definitely recommended.
A country in civil unrest, a corrupt government, a secret resistance movement, an assassination, an incriminating video, a young girl willing to risk her life for it to be made public and a journalist who will do anything to get a Pulitzer prize. This story has everything a good book in this genre needs. With a little bit of romance added in.
Astral projection? Now that is interesting. Not your usual fare here. A bit different and unique. A bit of a wild tale. Make sure to have have enough time to continue reading as you may well have a hard time putting it down. Other than that I won't do a spoiler.
