Tavin and London have been together for a while now, but life and responsibilities are tearing them apart.
With London traveling all over the world for her career, and Tavin stuck in Rojo, Texas for his, the two of them have to make do with precious few stolen moments leaving both of them wanting more.
London starts to doubt the life choices she’s made and knows she can’t be happy so far away from home. Is it too late for her and Tavin to salvage their relationship?
Tavin can’t leave his family to follow the woman he loves, and life at home without her has started to wear on his patience and make him question the plans he had laid out for his future.
Follow Tavin and London as they find their way back to each other and weather the stress, uncertainty, and danger that comes with the choices they make in the fifth book of the Conner Brothers Construction series.
**This book is shorter than the other stories in this series. Although it is the full story of Tavin and London that readers have been waiting for, and their story needed to be told, it’s not quite as long as the other books that are available. For that reason, I’m releasing it at a lower price point in both the digital and printed version. I hope you enjoy their story and another trip to Rojo to catch up on the family we’ve all grown to love.**
This is the 6th book in the Conner Brother’s Construction series, but it leans heavily on the storyline from Luke (Texas Kings MC Series Book 15). Without reading at least Luke’s book this story won’t make much sense. The majority of the characters in this book had their stories in the previous books of the CBC series so reading this series will help understand the characters and history of everyone. There is no cliffhanger.
I’m so glad I read this book quick quickly after reading Luke’s book because I was a mess after reading about the fiasco in the family. Reading about the family trying to mend fences wasn’t fun, but was necessary.
Tavin and London have been a couple for around a year, but recently things have become more and more strained between them. This is because London is constantly on the road touring or making appearances in her career as a successful country music singer. Initially, Tavin took some time off to travel with her but felt that he had to come back to pull his weight in the family firm, especially as his siblings were settling down and having kids.
Both Tavin and London want to get married and have a family but they just seem to be drifting further apart. When London takes a phone call in the middle of an important conversation about their future, Tavin reaches his limit. This crisis is the straw that broke the camel’s back for their relationship and they have to decide what their priorities are for their own happiness.
This book is full of emotions from trying to mend bridges between siblings, brothers fighting in the backyard, worry of stalkers and being chased by paparazzi. A lot happens in this slightly shorter than normal book, but you don’t feel like you’ve been short-changed.
I love the Conner Brothers. They are sweet and funny and adore their family. They have faced tragedy in their past and have learnt how to forge on to regain their happiness. It’s nice to read about them fixing the mess from Luke’s book and also getting Tavin and London their HEA. As always, they deal with adversity with sarcasm, banter and teasing with a side of casual violence towards one another. There’s only Chess left now to get his HEA, I hope that the author has the next generation books in mind, because I want to read about the fabulous children that they have all had!
I absolutely love all of the stories in this series, and this book was no exception! There was a disclaimer in the beginning of this book about how this story wasn't as long as the others, which of course I was sad about. Even though the word count may not be as much as the previous books, this story certainly didn't lack a thing because of this. It was just as wild, crazy, hilarious, and loving as all of the other stories, and definitely not one that you'll want to miss! I'm really looking forward to the rest of the series, and can't wait for their releases. If you haven't already read the other series by this author, I would highly recommend that you do! You should start with the Texas Knights MC series, then the Texas Kings MC, Connor Brothers Construction, and the Rojo, Texas series. Each of these series are absolutely fantastic, and once you begin, you won't be able to stop. These series' have a lot of character crossover between them due to family/friends/associate connections. Reading all of the stories will give you a better understanding of the characters, the connections, the different clubs/groups, the inside jokes, as well as the dynamics between all of them. You'll definitely fall in love with all of the characters and the unconventional families that they've all created. Don't miss out! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.
I first discovered this author with this series. I quickly read through them, then got to this book, saw the warning and knew I'd have to put it off until I could catch up with what was going on. So after 2 other series (totaling 19 books) I finally made it back to this one and I have to say that I'm glad that I didn't push ahead and read this one. You have to really know the drama with Liberty and her sisters to see why London was so broken up about things. While I don't think she had malicious thoughts in mind when she first brought things up, she didn't stop them either and that is almost worst. I was glad that London realized what she did was wrong and that she went to talk to all the parties involved and was able to fix things.
London sure had it hard in this one, because in addition to the sister drama, she had job drama. I thought she made the right choice there for her long term happiness. Tavin was skeptical and he should have been, but he still supported her.
I liked that London's friend came to town, even if it wasn't for super good reasons. The girls were funny together and during the course of the book managed to figure out their lives, ones that let them have the love of music and the family life both wanted.
The ending to this one was great, loved that it showed how happy everyone was years later.
In all honesty, I didn't really like this one. I felt that I was a little on the back foot to start with... MC books aren't really my thing, so I hadn't read book 15 of the series in which Liberty met Luke and the argument/falling out happened. However... I was completely on the side of Liberty... how on earth do other people think they have the right to spout an opinion about something they know nothing about. London's contribution... it appears... came from a place of concern in a positive way... whereas the others just seemed to be judge-y.
I didn't get the same feeling that I have had from others in the series. And I came out of this really disliking some of the characters from earlier book who I had really liked.
Still, I liked the relationship between London and Shelly. I liked that London made decisions for herself. Glad that Hal was appropriately dealt with. What happened with 'J'? I think that I may have missed something...
And I did like the epilogues... thus, 2 stars not 1.
19/03/22 Now know what happened with 'J' - silly me!
It was a beautiful story for Tavin and London. I felt that the author wrapped up their lives nicely. The only thing missing was the beginning. I wished that we could have got a glimpse of what drew them together. I have read all the Connor Brothers books and enjoyed getting to know the brothers, the twin sets, their tremendous loss, and new loves. However, we really didn’t get a detailed account of these two. The slivers of the beginning of their journey was just added in other books. We met the Merida sisters when Violet and Angus started. I missed their beginning, but enjoyed the rest in this book. Read On!
I love Loni and I'm glad she and Travin got their happy endings ❤ really enjoyed the plot too, Shelly is awesome!!! Hoping Benton and the boys get their own books too! Thanks again for another awesome book! I can't wait to see what happens next in the books in the Rojo universe! If you haven't already check out the rest of the books but check out the rest of the knights kings, rojo and tempest books but check out the recommend reading order it makes it even more awesome! Thank you x
This book just brings the best out of families. London and Tavin have been together since Angus and Violets book. Through their relationship, there has been trials, heartache, family dramas and distance with London being away so often. This book is all about how to make it work, how to fix things and how to be a family. Cee's Connor Brother construction series needs to be read in order to get the full family dynamics and drama's. It was such a great read and so easily relatable. Another 5 star read from the Amazing Cee
Oh, Cee! You've done it again! I love this book! I am so happy that Tavin and Loni were able to get their HEA. It all comes down to family. The ones you love and the ones who love you. Also, I have to include my love for Marcus Hamilton. He shows up in every book. He is the most steadfast character in the Rojo universe. Thank you again for making my day with your stories.
Tavin is the sixth book in the Conner Brothers Construction series by Cee Bowerman and follows Tavin and London as they make decisions that will affect the future of their relationship after hitting a low point in their relationship.
I really liked reading Tavin and London’s story, especially as some of it has been told in the background of other books in the series. It was nice to see them come into the spotlight and find out what their future held. I enjoyed the story and I was glad to see some of the loose ends from ‘Luke’ in the Texas Kings MC series tied up in this book. I would recommend reading that book before this one if you haven’t as some of the story ties over from that book but you get the gist of what happened in this book.
Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable read with characters that have been in the background for so long that you already know part of their story so there wasn’t a lot of background in this book. I would recommend giving it a read.
Another fabulous story and so glad that some of the friction between the sisters and also the Connor brothers are working out and look forward to more healing in the final book. Wow for both London and her bestfriend Shelley for doing what they both thought was best for their music careers and love life. Really cool with them also turning new talent into super stars. And wow with Hal, London's manager. Those hard drugs and gambling will kick you in the ass every time. Happy reading.
I so enjoyed this story. It’s a little different in that these two were already a couple and the story revolves around them meeting challenges. Will they remain a couple or will they separate? The answer is a delightful and exciting story. There is an attack by a gunman, so someone ends up in the ER, a family dispute gets an outcome, a friend’s having a rocky time, and a new business is born. Delightfully entertaining story. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. Enjoy this one.
This story had all the feels that I was hoping for with Tavin and London. London having her own soul searching that ultimately has her finding an HEA. Tavin having doubts about his love life and how to come to possible terms with a new journey in mind - not if London has anything to say about it! Danger lurks in many facets of this story for more than one person. So many challenges make this story a five star because Cee makes me laugh, cry and sigh. Love those Kings is all I'm saying and no more!
I'd like to start off saying I've read this whole series so far and the Kings series. I really enjoy your writing. Some I've like more than others which is okay. I'm just a little confused about where is Bella and Dil? No one speaks of them anymore. It's like once Finn and Angus's book was over they stopped existing. Even in London's list of names on why she was retiring they weren't even named period. I guess this because Finn was one of the books a love the most. It was heart wrenching, funny, and so much heart put in it. They were such a intricate part of that book for them not to be written about or and update.
I have read the series back to back and really enjoyed it. The characters feature throughout all six books. The Connor boys finding their soul mates. You get to understand and appreciate the characters, their feelings and just how their lives interact. That is the strength of these books, although each features on one brother the books contain the full family throughout giving you the chance to appreciate the characters in depth throughout.
Great partial resolution of the Conner family - can't wait for Chess' book to finish it up. While I feel the sisters were all fairly redeemed by the end of this one, I am still pissed at Lena. *shrugs* That makes it hard because I loved her in her book but hate how she became so judgmental in the last one, and she didn't do much to change that in this book. :(
But Tavin and Loni? Whew - that story had a slow build in all the other books and this one was a great finish to their story (a tiny bit shorter but not too much so).
Oh my goodness! I love this family so much - I always don’t think I could love them more and then I read the next book! I was so angry over the rift between the sisters going into this book. I should have known that Cee wouldn’t let it end in ugliness. Life is messy and we need to work through it and sometimes it takes longer than others. I still love everyone and I still want to come back and visit! ❤️
Well let’s start with I just downloaded book this morning. And I’m couldn’t put it down 😁. Read the whole thing by afternoon. I’m sad that this series only has one brother to go. But can’t wait for Chess. I love all the characters in these books and how they associate with my other favorites the Kings. Cee your books make me laugh out loud and cry at the same time. I hope they continue for a long time. Hint (the kids).🥰
I keep repeating myself so, here I go again! Ms. Bowerman has done it again with London and Tavin’s story. You will not be disappointed reading this book or her entire series of books. Every book I have read I think that’s my favorite book in actuality they are all my favorites they will make you laugh and cry and I’m always wanting more. Can’t wait to see what is next!
An excellent resolution to family drama from the previous and learning to move forward
I liked this book and especially appreciated that the author didn’t rehash the conflicts in the previous book to set the stage but gave enough info so a new reader could follow along. I also liked the short break the couple took but didn’t have cheating or other similar drama. This was a good read that I enjoyed making time for.
Tavin is book 6 in the Conner Brothers Construction series written by the talented Cee Bowerman. Another fantastic addition to this awesome serie! I love all Cee Bowermans books and her writing style. This is Tavin and London story. We've read about them in the previews Conner brothers stories, but this is their book. The writing was top quality as always, I loved every minute of it. The banter, the chemistry, the tension, all was perfection. I absolutely LOVED these characters.
I love how she interconnects each series. I loved the Knights, then the Kings , Connors and the extra rojo families. Ms. Bowermans books are ALL what I consider my re reads. She is a very talented author. This is Tavin and London's story. It helps smooth over some of the hurt feelings you had from the Luke and Liberty of the Kings series book. start at the top and read each series. Its much more meaningful, and insightful. Another winner in my opinion.
I chose this rating because this was actually a really good book. I really enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of compassion, kindness, knowing your limitations, and getting back to what you know and love. I really enjoy Tavin and London story. I think the author did a great job in putting these two characters together. I think they made a very interesting couple. Great read! I recommended this book to all romance readers.
I can’t possibly sum up everything I like about Cee Bowerman’s books but definitely on the top of the list is humor! I laugh more reading her books, and I’ve read almost all of them to date, just one series missing…and every book has humor, I enjoy them! I don’t end up depressed because someone food was killed off! I just love her books! I laugh out loud and then read a paragraph to someone because It’s so hilarious! Thank you so much!
So it took me a few months to read the Connor brothers stories due to Luke and Liberty’s story from the Kings books I’m happy to say that I’m glad I did read them especially Tavin’s book due to the fact that London got to explain herself to liberty and ask for forgiveness for how she behaved it’s still sad that they miss their sister‘s wedding, but you live and you learn. And I’m happy London and Tav got there HEA.
I absolutely loved Tavin and London's story! It may be shorter than the other books in the series but you still get the whole story and don't feel like you are missing something.
In this book you will see London grow and make some very hard decisions. Tavin is supportive and caring, making sure the decisions made are what London truly wants.
I really enjoyed Tavis. I was a little iffy due to the issues with the sisters, but happy that it was addressed. I was laughing loud good thing my husband was at work. Now I want to know who the kids were in the end. Can't wait for the 2nd generation. Keep up the good work.
Great book. Nice to have the questions answered from Luke and Liberty's book answered. Some great chuckle moments as well as some great yes moments. Great to see London and Tavin solving their problems and all the families back together. Look forward to the next book from which ever series know it will be great and hard to put down.
This was again an amazing book London and Tavin are at a crossroad in their relationship and things must change but like anything in life the choices that are made affect people differently and relationships need to be healed cee bowerman writing is seamless and even with the crossover of series doesn't affect this story it is a must read
Tavin and London’s story was All that I hoped it would be and then some. Both had some hard choices to make to figure out how they could be a couple. Finding true love is hard enough, But trying to make a relationship work when you’re never together to cultivate that love is impossible, I’m very glad they found a middle ground because in my mind they belong together.
