Nathan Redhawk could be considered by most to be as dangerous as his father. He was certainly as dangerous as his twin. Retired from Delta, he was home now, with every intention of making Katrina Santos his own. She'd avoided him for years. Side-stepped him, blocked him, used every excuse in the book. But no more excuses, she belonged to him and he would make sure that by the end of the year, she would understand that. First, he had to keep her and her father alive. Miguel Santos was as much a part of their lives as anyone at RP. When his health fails and old enemies close in, Katrina is stuck in the middle. Nothing, nothing will prevent Nathan from protecting her.
Katrina Santos used to think that Nathan was the cute twin brother. He was always a little more vocal, a little more intense, but now as a grown man, he was positively oozing alpha male instincts and an intensity that scared her to death. Of course, if Tony LaBrada had his way, she'd be dead by his hands. When her world seems to be crumbling around her, Katrina realizes the only place to go is home. Belle Fleur.
Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. Visit my webpage at insatiableink.squarespace.com and leave your comments or ideas for future books. Enjoy!
Trak and Lauren have raised some awesome son's and daughter's. Nathan wanted Katrina.. Katrina wanted Nathan but she was worried about the age difference. But that doesn't stop Nathan. Katrina is worried about her dad and she is scared not of loving Nathan but of the person threatening her father. When the truth comes to light Nathan claims his woman and the REAPER - PATRIOTS family come together to help her and Miguel her father, also making her realize she has been family since the day they rescued her from her uncle. Now Nathan in true male form goes all alpha but with the wisdom words of his father and uncle he learns that a relationship is a partnership, Katrina learning the same from Mama Irene and the ladies. What was a pleasant and wonderful surprise was the relationship that developed between Doug and Miguel.
More marriages, more babies and a another generation of kick ass men and women. Mary Kennedy keep them coming. 💙💚💙💚💙🥰💙🥰
With this book we really see the next gen taking over RP, pretty much telling the parents what to do, not really realizing it and the parents letting them. It was fun to see!
Along with that was finally seeing Santos being fully brought into the RP family and in a way I didn't see coming, yet am happy with. People deserve to be happy and have someone good in their lives. The drama with Nathan and Katrina didn't take long to sort out, which was good. It left RP time to get rid of the real enemy. And to do this they had to work with Santos and get to the original crime families. This ended up being very interesting. First RP took away any leverage the bad guy had on Santos, then basically they got the ok and help to take him down, it was glorious and couldn't have happened to a better person.

I chose this rating because this is actually a really great book. I really enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of determination, compassion, protection, I'm doing what's best for you. I really enjoyed Nathan and Katrina story. I think they made a really interesting couple. I think the author did an amazing job in putting this couple together. They both had some things they had to overcome and deal with before they got together. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.
Mary Kennedy just keeps it coming! This is an author who keeps reminding the world of the real issues out there and that there are people who want to stop it! Love these characters and the story lines but most of all, I love that she centers it around family!!
I said just about every time I do a review but with each book in the series gets better and better, I get to know the characters their families their beliefs their values and become a part of the world that’s being written about. I can’t wait for Bens book
I have read everyone one of the books in this series and I just love them can't wait for the next one waiting is so hard .I just love how they just flow together
These books just seem to get more and more far fetched. They're entertaining in a way, but if I read one more time that a wife is pregnant with twins because the husband is a twin I just might scream.
I actually had to slow down reading Ms Kennedy's series😚 She is truly a gifted storyteller! I am so glad that this village has a lot of characters so I can continue to read Ms Kennedy's great work! Loving her😍
