NEW ORLEANS, 1995. MINA’S HAVING A KILLER HALLOWEEN.
Three months after Fang Fest, Mina’s settling into her new life.
Despite the teething problems in her relationship with Jared, she has her sister back, new friends and a part-time job to die for.
Over Halloween, Mina and the gang have planned a spooky week of Gothic restaurants, horror movies, ghostly tours, creepy carnivals and a costume ball.
But the fun doesn’t last. Mina is on work experience with Detective Cafferty while the police are investigating a savage masked killer and a rise in suspicious ‘animal attacks’.
During her own investigations, Mina discovers a mysterious group of slayers, who are battling to control the rogue vampires.
The threats circle closer as Mina spends her days with the police and nights with the slayers.
Will she and her friends survive Halloween without being staked, stabbed or bitten?

Amy McCaw is a YA writer and BookTuber. She's the author of the 'Mina and the Undead' series, a YA murder mystery set in 1995 New Orleans. She also curated 'A Taste of Darkness' YA horror anthology.
Her main interests are books, movies and the macabre, and her debut novel has elements of all of these. If Amy's not at a book event or reading, she can usually be found scribbling away in her writing room, surrounded by movie memorabilia and an out-of-control signed books collection. Unsurprisingly, she's a huge Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan and has gone to conventions to meet James Marsters more times than she cares to admit.
Amy also loves travelling and has a particular affinity for America. She's visited 29 states, 13 Man Vs Food restaurants and many bookish locations, including the cities where Twilight, Interview with a Vampire and Vampire Diaries were set.
If you want to talk with Amy about books or 90s movies, you can find her on Twitter.
Mina and the Slayers is the follow-up to Amy McCaw's 2021-debut novel, Mina and the Undead.
This super fun YA-series follows 17-year old, Mina, who moves to New Orleans from Whitby, in England ((incidentally, the town that inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula)), to live with her older sister, Libby.
A lot goes down in the first novel, where McCaw does an incredible job setting the stage for what I am hoping is going to be a long running series. The New Orleans atmosphere is completely on point.
Mina and Libby work at a Horror Mansion, with interactive live scenes from some of your favorite horror movies, and that continues on into this second novel.
I had so much fun reading the first book. It was such a nostalgic treat and this one was no different. The first book definitely left off in a great spot for a sequel, so I've been anxiously awaiting this release for a year.
I'm happy to report, not only did it not disappoint, but it actually exceeded all my expectations. McCaw's writing and character development has continued to grow and we absolutely love to see that!
In this installment, we have a few new things going on in Mina's life that really helped to build out this story.
First, and my favorite new aspect, is that Mina is now job shadowing with the local police department. She's paired up with an Investigator named Cafferty and when mysterious stabbings begin plaguing the city, she's along for the ride and the subsequent investigation.
I love investigations of any type of violent crime, so this was such a pleasant surprise. I had no clue this was going to be a new part of Mina's life.
We also find Mina a bit estranged from her boyfriend, Jared, due to something that happened to him in the first book.
Regardless, the couple is working on their relationship and I enjoyed watching that evolution over the course of the story.
Finally, y'all know this is a vampire book, right? Did I mention that?
Well, with that in mind, let it be known, there is slaying in this book. There are bad ones in the city, killing humans and of course, you need people who know about the existence of vamps to be willing to fight to save human lives.
Someone has to do it. When vampires walk amongst us, things can get dangerous real quick. I mean, just ask the residents of Santa Carla, California...
Yeah, so overall, I had an absolute blast with this. It was intense, with high stakes, great character development, a fun mystery and nostalgic vibes for days.
I'm not sure, but I am getting a feeling that we'll be getting a third book and I am absolutely here for it.
Thank you so much to the author, Amy McCaw, for providing me with an early copy. This sequel would make John Carpenter, John Hughes and John Stamos proud, so I certainly hope you are proud as well!!
I am having a belting time reading these books. The ending of this one had me SWEATING with panic! Good lord, Amy, what are you doing to me?! I cannot wait to get to Mina and the Cult. Thanks to Amy for sending me an early copy of Cult, you're a star and I've adored this series so much so far.
Yet again, the atmosphere was totally on point with this one and had me truly immersed in 1995 New Orleans. Very well done. I'm so invested in these characters and this story. Roll on the third and final book!
"We both looked at the vampire’s body. It was slowly collapsing, decomposition taking hold fast. He no longer looked like Zack Morris, unless Saved by the Bell went in a bold new direction."
Scream meets I Know What You Did Last Summer that packs quite the bloody bite. Prepare your stakes, it’s hunting season!
Mina and her friends are back. The last time we saw Mina, things weren't looking up. Vampires were on the loose and they weren't around to make friends. Her boyfriend was cold as ice and not in the way we are all thinking. Today things are almost the exact same except for all the blood that was shed. Mina may not be the best judge of character but we love her anyway. Oh, and Jared is still cold as ice. Ah, fun times.
There's nothing like a brisk night in New Orleans with blood-sucking fiends roaming around.
Wow, there was a lot to love about this book. Mina is a jack of all trades and I loved it. She was sassy and strong-willed. We need more ladies in books that just kick ass. Even though she didn't think she could do certain things, she stuck with it and showed everyone that she never quits and never backs down. The characters were all likable and it was hard to hate some of them. The story flowed just like the first one and it sucks you into it instantly. Between the characters, the dark mysteries, and the authors writing this was definitely a win-win for all vampire lovers.
There was one thing that did annoy me after a while. Was anyone else annoyed by how much the author mentioned music from the 90s? I know, it was the 90s. One of the best decades for music but I felt that she tried to lean heavily on those references more than anything else and I became bored and annoyed with them. Other than that this was great.
Mina and the Slayers was a blood-sucking good time and I'm so excited to see where Amy takes us next. I know that it's going to be amazing!
What an amazing sequel to Mina and the Undead! I absolutely love the 90s nostalgia, the horror movie references, and the vampire folklore. The twists in this one were excellent. I can’t wait to see what the third book is going to do!
Thanks to Amy McCaw for sending me a copy to review!
I love this series so much, it's such good fun and is fully immersed in the 90's pop culture. In the second book in this series, we see Mina fully integrated into her New Orleans life and taking on working experience with the police. There have been a series of murders and Mina is getting involved in the investigation... as are some vampires too.
This story has a couple of different levels to it that make it quite an addictive read. It has fast-paced action and high-stakes, dramatic moments. I love the character dynamics and the found family aspect of their friend group, it really feels like they're all in it together. They also all trust each other and don't get mad at the smallest things, which is quite refreshing to see.
Of course, I love the setting of this series. Having never been to New Orleans, I'm allowing this book to transport me instead, and what a fantastic job it does! The atmosphere is brilliantly creepy and dark, scattered with history and old stories, I loved it!
The newest book in the series and things are going to get spooky and bloody this Halloween!
A book I had on my shelves since October 2022, but just never was in the mood for, don’t ask why. But finally I decided to just go for it in May and then I couldn’t stop reading. Haha. This was just so fun! I was planning this review in June/July, but things got busy with my blog and so it was moved to October, perfect for the Halloween season~
This time it is not just the vampires making a mess, it is humans as well!
I loved meeting the slayers. Well, OK, most of them, haha, some were just too BLEH. It was quite interesting to read about their past and what they are doing. I can imagine that Mina felt unsure about things, but loved that she kept an open mind and also explained it later to Jared. That she wasn’t just killing everything, just vampires who were being a tad too murderous. I was also happy that we got so much of the slayers in this book, they play a vital part in the story and it makes me happy. Plus, it gave that character an extra boost!
Oh, and be sure not to get attached to a lot of characters… that is all I will say.
I wasn’t always sure about Jared x Mina, I just wished they had talked sooner/discussed things more clearly. I get that they are teens and that Jared is still processing things, but come on guys. You want this relationship to work and that isn’t done by silence or just dancing around each other. Mina you want more affection and love and show Jared it is fine if he wants to feed on her (after some research of course) and Jared you want affection and more happiness back in your relationship with Mina. Go talk. I am happy when things got better around halfway in the book, when they finally chatted and finally found their connection again. I was fully back to shipping these two.
There are also plenty of villains in this one and tons of secrets will be coming out of the woodwork. Not just about things that happened in the previous book (like Thandie) but also something to do with Della’s past, the King of Vampires in Orleans, Veronica is back, and there is a lot more. Plus, there is also someone more human wandering around town and stabbing people. There is a lot and I have to say it never was too much. In fact it all just clicked together. They were two plots, but worked together. Both got their time and spotlight so that you feel that both fitted the book. Plus, I loved that we didn’t just have dangerous vampires wandering around, but also humans. It was never boring, in fact I was fully invested!
The ending felt a bit weird in regards to the vampire plot, I had expected a bit more from it, but it felt like BOOM BOOM, and then back to normal. It just felt jarring. But I guess it leaves enough open for the next book, including that note at the end! I am definitely into more Mina! Give it!
As for the human murder plot I just loved that ending and how we got an extra boost of OMG! You thought this was over, oh HECK no.
Other things I loved, that it took place around Halloween and on Halloween along with some fun events there, the references to a lot of things from that time, the costumes, that Mina is working for the cops and helping out, the cover was cool, that we got some extra information on spooky stories in New Orleans, the battle with the slayers vs the vampires, seeing the mansion again and see how hard Libby is working to make it all work, see the mansion and the new rooms.
All in all, this was a jam-packed awesome book in the series. Definitely no second-book-in-a-series-syndrome here. Thankfully! I would recommend this book + the series to all.
I’m convinced this series is my favourite series EVER. It seriously never disappoints, flawless, beautiful, everything I ever need in a book every time! God so much happened in here and I couldn’t put it down at allll.
Yet again this was just incredible, I loved the story, all the twists and turns, the gore! It’s just truly flawless to me, like the references alone spark so much joy! That carousel scene was so lost boys god I am obsessed.
This seriously hit every trope I like in vampire media yet again, the characters were amazing, the mystery was a ride and I cannot wait for the next (and hopefully not last) book!!
This sequel is bringing back all the fun, the mystery and the blood from book one. But this time, more fun, more mysteries and definitely a higher body count.
Mina and her friends are getting ready for a great Halloween season as we all love to do. But their plans for the season will be interrupted by a wave of murders that will make the police department and the slayers work together.
You will get the best from both worlds. With great detective investigation elements as well as monster hunter action.
A fast paced sequel full of 90s references in which every chapter something new and exciting is revealed. This was spooky, atmospheric and full of twists.
MINA AND THE UNDEAD was such a fun filled journey that I was so happy to receive my copy from Amy McCaw to continue my journey.
It’s been three months and we’re back in New Orleans with Jared as our tour guide. His tour goes flawlessly, except for the rapid vampire that comes hurtling through the crowd and down a dark alley. That raises some hackles and some questions among the “scooby gang” as they go racing after it.
They quickly discover that there’s been a series of “animal attacks” all over the city, and Mina is working closely with Detective Cafferty to solve them. Could this be connected with what happened on the night of the tour? Is there a serial killer on the loose?
Mina has enough on her plate trying to cope with how her relationship has changed since Jared grew fangs. But now Della is acting strange too? It’s almost too much for her to handle….until she discovers The Slayers.
The influence of Buffy The Vampire Slayer oozes from these pages and makes my dark heart rejoice with nostalgia for the series. It’s clear that it’s been a very influential source and I am so happy about it!!
If you’re looking for a fun addition to your spooky season TBR, look no further than this series! I promise you will be highly amused, entertained and in love with all of the 90s references.
Yesss! This was a great sequel! I couldn’t wait to read this one as quickly as I could! This story unfolds so amazingly, the characters get the growth they needed and have relationships with each other sometimes I didn’t know would ever happen! More nostalgic 90s banter and memory unlocking for myself too! Just loved it!
Mina and the Undead was one of my favourite books of last year....90s nostalgia with Vampires in New Orleans with a slasher movie esque storyline.... what's not to love.
So when Mina and the Slayers was announced, I knew I needed it and was lucky enough to win a advance proof copy!
Mina and the Slayers has all the charm of the first book without feeling repetitive. The pop culture references are second to none and and makes my nostalgic heart so full.
This book picks up soon after the events of the first book and Mina (and the gang) are trying to adjust to the fallout from that, whist also move on with their lives. Mina is tagging along with the police on work experience and gets embroiled in an investigation, that seems to be vampire adjacent. Queue the entrance of the titular Slayers, adding an additional issue for the group to process!
Fun read, high stakes (no pun intended), and a nice wee whodunit to keep you on your toes.
A non-stop, action packed, nostalgia bomb of a sequel. I loved this book from cover to cover and I CANT WAIT to see what Mina gets up to next!!! This book is an absolute must read for any vampire or 90s nostalgia lover. Don’t miss out!
Yes this was exactly that I wanted from the second book!! I adore the 90s pop culture references and the playlist is just immense!! I am so here for it!! I loved this book so much, the pace was so fast and I couldn’t put it down. There were no “what was the point of this scene” moments and the shocks that came just hit me in the heart!! Thankfully I’m not a vampire!! Great twist and turns and I’m praying there’s a 3rd one!!!!
Somehow even better than the first book! I love the 90s nostalgia which is perfectly blended with an atmospheric New Orleans setting, vampires and murder. UKYA deserves so much more recognition and this book is no exception. Fangtastic!
I am obsessed with this series!! In Mina and the Slayers we pick up three months after Fang Fest. Mina joins Detective Cafferty to investigate suspected ‘animal’ attacks and also discovers a secret group of vampire slayers.
Those who enjoyed all of the nostalgic pop references in the first book will not be disappointed. There’s plenty here too. We also get many of our fave characters again and lots of fun banter!
Mina and the Slayers is jam packed full of action from beginning to end and is unique to the first book yet has all of the elements I loved.
This met all of my expectations and more!! Team Mina all the way! Keep this in mind for spooky season if you’re looking for a quick and spooky vampire series to capture your heart.
I would like to acknowledge my heartfelt gratitude to the author for sending me a proof copy of Mina and the Slayers to read and review in advance.
Excuse me?! That ending!!!!!??? Loved it! This sequel did not disappoint. Spooky, atmospheric and full of twists!!
This book absolutely slays! More creepy adventures in New Orleans. Slayers, Vampires, new friends, old friends and of course murder and mystery!
I absolutely love Mina and co! I want to be friends with them all, and just hang out and watch horror movies. These books have such a way of gripping you and the writing is just superb. Amy always leaves me sat on the edge of my seat, usually praying that my fave isn't about to be bitten or turn out to be the villain!!
I always get major nostalgia reading these books! I feel like I'm wrapped up in a warm but deadly Halloween hug!
You need to pick up both Mina and The Undead and Mina and The Slayers ASAP for all the 90's throwbacks and Halloween spooktacular action. I cannot wait for more books from Amy in the future!!
*Thank you to Uclan and Amy for my gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.*
I was one of the lucky winners of a proof of this book a couple of months back at @nyalitfest and it has blown me away.
I was beginning my horror journey in the 90s, so Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Scream and I Know What you Did Last Summer were all very important to my horror education. Mina is set in the 90s and flawlessly captures all the wonders of that era while staying completely fresh and original in its story telling and character development. With these books Amy McCaw has begun to create a Vampire lore all her own, that I am eager to see further explored in the future. The writing style flows beautifully and makes for some real tense moments and fast action throughout.
I urge any genre fan that has a love of vampires and the 90s slasher revival to check these books out, you won't be disappointed!
A fantastic follow up to the first book ‘Mina and the Undead’, this story has so many twists and turns between vampires, slayers, police and teen drama! I hope a third book will bring us back to the New Orleans of Mina and her chosen family soon!
Mina and the gang are back and ready for Halloween! (Aren’t we all?!) - after the events of the first novel, they’re ready for a spooky week of fun with ghost tours, horror movies, a costume ball, and so much more!
But that doesn’t last. Threats circle closer with suspicious attacks, a group of slayers, and rogue vampires. Avoiding stakes, stabs and bites, Mina and her friends are in for a treat… Just not the kind they were looking for.
This read was fast paced, addictive and offered practically everything I love: Halloween, 90s slasher horror, vampires, and mysteries all wrapped up in a nice purple package. If you were raised a 90s / early 2000s child on Scooby Doo and/or Buffy and R.L Stine then this (along with its predecessor) is the book for you.
The high-stakes (and actual stakes) keep you gripped throughout the novel but the character dynamics and found family are the heart of the book. It’s fresh and wonderful and exactly the spooky YA book everyone is going to need to read during spooky season.
And that twist near the end though? There’s a reason I was anticipating this book and Amy definitely brought it. It was “killer.” I’m so appreciative for receiving an ARC.
Now excuse me whilst I organise a trip to Whitby to read a Morganville Vampires book like I did as a pre-teen 🩸
Mina is back and this time she spends days on work experience with the police and her nights patrolling with the Slayers. As she struggles with her relationship with Jared and makes new friends, a masked killer stalks New Orleans and the vampire population increases. Can Mina and her friends survive?
I love Mina, she is brave even when terrified and has a strong moral compass which, is really tested in this story. She has a natural ability to empathise and this is an incredible mystery adventure. The story weaves a thrilling twisted path, the 90’s nostalgia is a total joy and the gore fest is spectacular.
Set at Halloween 1995 the imagery and vibes are so on point. Marinating in all your favourite 90’s memories, Buffy by way of The Lost Boys soaked in the sauce of Scream, this is a spectacular! A classic slasher horror with added fangs!
It took me longer than I wanted to read this book, due to work and on a couple of courses, as well as just general life getting in the way (it's a bit rude that I'm not paid to read, drink tea and eat biscuits all day, but OK). I really enjoyed reading the second Mina installment, especially with spooky season just around the corner, it was perfect to light a candle, grab a blanket, and get invested. 🦇 Although there is an age difference between myself and Mina, the 90s(and early 2000s) were my childhood and teenage years, so the references and nostalgia were right up my street, especially the music! I'd love to visit Movies 'N Stuff, I'd buy one of everything! There is no smell like the plastic from a 90s toy! The references to R. L. Stine and Point Horror books instantly transported me to my teenage years, of getting as many point horror and point crime books from my local library, and staying up late, reading by my bedside lamp to finish the book, and I hope younger readers will have that same enjoyment from Minas stories. And of course I'd visit the mansion for a tour, though I'd wear adult nappies, as I'm awful with anything scary! 🦇 I'm currently in the process or rewatching Buffy The Vampire Slayer, which will always hold a special place in my heart(thankfully without a stake in it!) though I feel there is room in the market for a new Slayer TV series for the next generation to fall in love with. 🦇 The book ended with the hopes of another addition to the series, so I can't wait to hopefully meet up with Mina and the gang again! 🦇 If you're a YA, horror fan, who loves nostalgia, Buffy, Halloween and vampires, if you haven't read these books yet, you definitely need to get your hands on Mina And The Undead and Mina And The Slayers in time for the seasonal change. 🦇 Special thanks to Amy for signing my books, and for the freebies. And thank you for putting up with my awkwardness! It was lovely to meet you!
I... did not like this, at all. I mean, it's not like I *loved* the first one, I had been fairly neutral on it, but I still thought it had lots of promise aside from the insta-love and was really looking forward to reading its sequel, but this... God, this was just bad. It had all the trappings of what should have been a great and exciting story, right up my alley in every way, but absolutely none of the charm or skill of execution to pull it off. I'm so sorry. And I tried to like it. Believe me, I tried. I so desperately wanted to love this with all my heart, giving it the benefit of the doubt far past the point it deserved, but something about the writing made it so stale and boring to the point I had to push myself to continue. Also, I think I kind of overhyped just the very idea of it in my mind, so in the end, the real, final product ended up being extra dull and trite.
But that's what you get for trying to compare something to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, one of my favourite shows in the entire world that nothing can ever even come close to (and that's what I get for trusting the stupid review comparisons to Buffy again when I know they always fail me). Honestly, I am 100% convinced everyone comparing it (or anything) to Buffy has never actually seen Buffy, or if they have, they don't care about it in the least. It angers me, it does.
Anyway, this book suffered from the same problem as its predecessor, drowning you with an overabundance of 90s references that feel a little too specific/pointed/forced and numerous, never giving you a chance to breathe. Like, it's the type of homage that works better in a visual and audio medium, but in the written form, it continuously draws you out of the story every other second by going hey, look at me, look at me! And it becomes tedious really fast. I swear they mention song titles alone literally every other sentence. On that note, stop playing Zombies by the Cranberries for Halloween! Stop!
Also on that note, this book is quite literally ALL set dressing. A Jack O' Lantern with an interesting face carved into the front but completely hollow inside, relying way too much on nostalgic callbacks or music or describing cutesy Halloween decor without actually putting any effort into plot or character development, it's like eating too much candy without dinner, fun at first, but you quickly get sick of it. I've seen the 90s setting done well and subtle in other cases, but this... this ain't it. Overall really, there's just something so flat and unappealing about the writing in general, it doesn't grab you, it's just kinda there. It's streamers on an empty house with no party. It's putting salt and pepper on drywall and hoping that'll help the flavour. Are these analogies making sense.
The characters themselves might as well be cardboard cutouts, or no, cardboard is too thick, more like those little plastic see through things you stick on windows with how paper thin and flimsy their characterization is. Most of the new ones were basically introduced as pure cannon fodder, with too many things going on at once, coming and going like a whisper, forgotten as soon as they're off the page. New friends with no intrigue, old roommates that just feel tossed in there, (Tessa I forgot existed every other minute), several plotlines happening at once but none really actually grabbing attention on its own. Slow moving, bland and bland and bland. The original cast have nothing interesting going for them! The new cast don't have time to have anything interesting going for them or are predictable and annoying tropes (obligatory mean girl, please stop!)! The insta-love romance from the previous book is more lackluster and contrived than ever (and Jared's boohoo pity party doesn't become him) and just gaaahh!
Oh, oh and the villain, Veronica, is just straight up Harley Quinn! I'm not even joking or exaggerating, she has a white and red sequined jacket with a literal Joker quote on the back and a trademark mallet, swear to God. Harley Quinn, what the Hell. Other characters I have a less prominent/provable but now sneaking suspicion of being knockoffs: Della definitely gives Kendra vibes from Buffy. Paige... little bit of Faith in there for sure. And after the impala riding in playing Metallica, I'm inclined to believe Cafferty is a Dean Winchester insert at least in part.
Moving on. This feels kind of much much younger oriented, (flat writing definitely part of that), but with the sensuality of vampires they do try to explore making it feel awkward/older without the actual needed guts for it to resonate with that audience (like say in the way Buffy did). I also reiterate how boring Jared and Mina are, and how even more boring Jared's vampire angst is, God. There's more chemistry between potato chips. (And more chemistry between her and Will, but that's not happening because, again, they're boring.)
Speaking of boring, almost everything about this story was predictable in most aspects. In fact, it often bizarrely felt like it was trying to send you on a goose chase or make you solve a puzzle when the goose was clearly already next to you the whole time or the puzzle was already done, so there were like these "reveals" and it was like wait, did we not already know that the whole time? This all with the exception of the very ending and the reveal of who the killer was, I can tell you that wasn't predictable because it was so out of left field with no real build up and the motivation made no f*cking sense. Absolutely ridiculous, clownery. It was a ballsy, gruesome and grim end, but felt over the top and so, rather than chilling or eerie or whatever it was supposed to be, it was more like just plain silly... and a little annoying. Which is a sentence that can describe most of this book.
I'm being so mean and harsh, I feel bad, but I was so excited for this, truly, I waited a month, eagerly awaiting its arrival in the mail, I was dying to read it and then found I had to slog through it, so I'm disappointed.
On one positive note: I do kind of like Armand and Cafferty as characters, but they don't get nearly enough screentime or fleshing out for that to save anything on its own.
And on a side note: stop comparing things to Buffy when you know you're a wannabe Lost Boys, just compare yourself to Lost Boys, Lost Boys won't bite you, well they will, but like I swear the amount of Lost Boys (and Interview with the Vampire) references in these, shut up. I'm not particularly a fan of either of those vampire medias. I'm neutral on Lost Boys, too, but this book definitely shares more aspects with that than anything if in want of comparison.
This book, oh this book. Where do I begin? I felt like I hadn't put the first one down and I'd just moving into part two of Mina's story. We met some new characters and some new (and old) threats and established much more of the world in which Mina lives. And the twists, there were so many as we moved into the climax and the end if the book that I put through the ringer. I have to say loved it and definitely a top read for me.
Amy did it again with another 5* story. I absolutely love Mina and the gang, this one was alot more involved but carried on beautifully from the first book. I really hope there is a third so we can finally get to know Minas parents too.
Vibes: Buffy, Blockbuster, 1990s, old school horror movie references, Lost Boys and teenage issues.
If I had to fight vampires, I think I would be like Mina...kinda awful 😅
After a few changes to her life Mina now has to deal with the repercussions of what happened at Fang Fest and when more bodies start showing up (human & Vampire) Mina has to help in any way she can.
I loved the continuation of the story, the new characters, the new murder mystery and the vibes were just as strong as the first. I hope Minas story continues and I can't wait to get more.
