Reese and Ty broke up when they were teenagers, because of their parents. After 17 years they meet up and try to put the past behind them. The parents don't make it easy. There are a lot of secrets and lies that they need to get through before they find their HEA. I like this book because the characters are fighting for their love and future regardless of the demands from the parents. There were a few typos but the story is definitely worth reading.

This is book two in The Lone Star Crossed Saga series and it is Reese and Ty's story. Reese and Ty have history that ended so badly that hearts were broken and family's were ruined. Reese finds herself in charge of the family business after the death of the star patriarch but now she is desperately trying to clean up the mess that is left behind by the people she trusted the most and that is her parents and grandparents and Reese is determined to make all the wrongs that have been committed right especially to Ty who was her childhood sweetheart and first love and his family. Ty has now discovered the true story behind his father's imprisonment which affected his family so much by ruining there reputation and finances completely and then with Reese who broke his heart with the betrayal but Ty now not only wants payback but also revenge for everything that his family was put through and the trust that was lost. This book takes you on a roller coaster ride with the twists and turns along the way and I couldn't put this book down as it was a real page turner and so addictive. The chemistry between Reese and Ty was still so strong and intense as ever but will they get a second chance of happiness after everything that had happened and what they have gone through only time will tell what the outcome will be for them. I recommend you read this book and you definitely will not be disappointed.

This book was very different from other romances I have read lately. First, the FMC was the billionaire and the stronger personality (loved that!) The MMC was not a pushover,he was more emotional. I loved the scavenger hunt. Both the effort he put into coming up with the perfect date and the interactions as they went through it. I liked the banter, especially when it was one of those inside jokes that who have known each other for a while share. I figured out the big mystery during the birthday party.

The author touched on several issues that are not usually in romance novels. She handled them well. I look forward to reading more from her.

This was a great read! It can be read as a standalone, but you should read the first book. I didn’t but it’s on my TBR list.

Roles are reversed in this book. The heroine is the millionaire and the hero had to fight his way to the top. Don’t worry the family still has issues and there are twists and turns. Oh and Reese’s mother is still the snobby witch.

Reese and Ty were high school sweethearts who broke up due to their parent's business dealings going wrong. This book takes place later on with Reese trying to make amends. It starts off just surface-level sexual chemistry but deepens with some twists. I would have liked to learn more about Anthony's upbringing and how he was treated differently. Overall an easy carefree read.
