The writing of this is amazing. It's absolutely magical.
I was totally immersed in the story from page one and the atmosphere was so intense it gave me goosebumps! Absolutely perfect for Halloween.
It's spooky, suspensful, and full of mystery. I definitely don't think this is a book you can sit back and relax to. No, you'll be on the edge of your seat trying to unravel the mystery - and you probably won't figure it out!
The one thing I will warn of is that... er... you need to be open-minded sexually to read this. If you're very traditionally minded I think you'll find parts of this uncomfortable. There, I said it.

Epic, forever love. Darkness, jealousy, and magic. This book has it all - and more. So much more.
I had no idea what to expect when I jumped into this book, but holy hell it was a ride unlike any other.
I loved the chemistry between characters, the deep history of experience, love, and suffering. The world-building was both phenomenally rich and intricate.
The twists within the plot were so well done, at times I didn't see them coming, and when I did, they still managed to leave me breathless.
I liked the building tension, the mystery, and sense of danger that wove through the story, making this book one I couldn't put down.
I can't wait to see what else this world can deliver going forward - it's one I'm not ready to leave.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next one in the series. I enjoy reading books with great characters and this book delivered. Jacek and Adler have an epic love story and great chemistry. Delaney’s journey and struggles were totally relatable. The story has some fun twists and turns I didn’t see coming.

This was slow to get through for me, but it is incredibly worth it! There is so much details because it covers so many different types of magic. Everything from tarot, gemstones, tea leaves, energy, and sex magic. It even covers reincarnation.
This is one of the best magic books I have read in a long time. The story of Jacek, Elder, and Decan and their mixed history of past lives is a spiderweb of magic and death. You have to read the full book to piece all of the pieces together to understand.

I'm going to go hoarse screaming about how much I love Good Bones. This is a super fast read that drops you into the middle of the action, and answers questions you didn't know you had as the story progresses.
While I wish the book had been longer (because I wanted more exploration of the various interpersonal relationships), ultimately I think it would've ruined the pacing so I can't be too upset. The entire story only takes place within about 48 hours, Renfield & Ives still managed to steal my heart.
I fell in love with Jacek within ten chapters. His love for his husband is only exceeded by my love of their sweet and spicy relationship. (SPICE NOTE: There are only a few explicit spicy scenes, but they're all A1. Rated for quality over quantity!)
I fell in love with Decan within ten pages. Girl who knows magic is real but is still a skeptic, and can hold her own? Yes, please. Her initial interactions with The Husbands are hilarious AF.
I fell in love with Adler within ten words, because... how could anybody not?
I would die for these characters.
Additionally, I will riot if we don't get to see The Sparrow in depth in book two.

this is a beautifully done fantasy story with great characters. The story was so well done with an interesting premise and great characters. I enjoyed the way the author writes.

When I started this book I was in a reading slump....well this def cured that one. Its spicy and has mystery, love, magic....I could go on. If you need a book to get you back between the pages, this is my suggestion!
