Great book that pulls threads together for a grand finale. The not so sweet h is the hero is this story. I liked how she overwhelmed the H and how he didn't try to control her. He's a different leader from his brother, doesn't use intimidation and threat and I really liked that Gideon is not included in final scenes. I am looking forward to next series.

I’m such a fan girl of Jasmin Quinn. I’ve been reading her wonderful stories for a few years now, and I’ve enjoyed every one of them, starting with the Running With the Devil mafia series of interconnected stand alones to the Shifters of Darkness Falls, also interconnected stand alone books. This review will cover the final book in the Shifters series (which will move into other shifter packs in the future), entitled Forbidden.

This is the story of Leah, an omega in her pack, and Lucien, the alpha of his own pack. They are fated mates, a fact which surprised both of them. And while Lucien is just fine with that connection, Leah wants no part of it, due to the treatment she has received all of her life. And while he’s an alpha and all that this entails, he is mostly patient with his little omega. I grew to adore him as the book progressed.

But there is much more to this story than the tale of fated mates. Running through all of the books in this series is a mystery surrounding the deaths of women at the hand of a serial killer. Who this is is finally revealed, and let me tell you, it thoroughly surprised me. So well done!

Such good writing is always appreciated by me. I love it when my eyes move along the page smoothly, almost effortlessly, because the words perfectly create images in the mind as the story unfolds. I just love Jasmin Quinn’s writing style. I highly recommend this book, as I would any book written by this talented author. If you like paranormal romance with an exciting story line, this is a tale you should most definitely read. Highly recommended.

I have been waiting patiently for Leah’s story and boy was it ever worth the wait! I could not put the book down as I was kept constantly on the edge of my seat not knowing what was going to happen next!! It captivated me, enthralled me and kept me highly entertained.

Leah may be an omega but she is quite the fierce little wolf. Her story is riddled with emotions, pain, anger and hurt. When she realized that Lucien is her fated mate, she tries so hard to push him away because she doesn’t want to feel anymore rejection and hurt than she already deals with on a daily basis. But Lucien is patient and will do anything to help Leah see that they are meant to be. Their connection takes time to forge but when it does these two are just absolutely perfect. Their story pulled on my heartstrings and had me craving a happy ever after for them as a couple.

We would finally get some answers to who the serial killer is, and trust me when you find out you will be as shocked as I was! The story is filled with action, suspense, mystery, lies, betrayal and a whole lot of very steamy moments that is sure to keep you in its grips from beginning to end!

Brilliant writing as always, with phenomenal characters that you grow to love over the course of this whole series. The imagery and detail that Jasmin puts into each of her stories has a way of transporting us readers into this magical world of shifters that we never want to leave.

I have been wanting Leah's story since book one of Shifters of Darkness Falls and it was so worth the wait. She is one of those characters that stays with you, and her shining moment was everything I hoped. I bawled. If you've read the other books you'll know what I have to be talking about. Lucien is the perfect other half to Leah. This book would make sense as a stand alone, and Leah and Lucien's romance definitely holds up on its own, but reading previous books would add to the story. I think if you read this first, you'll go back to the beginning.

Lucien and Leah are sizzling hot and although Leah battles her self imposed walls and trauma, Lucien patiently chips away at it. Lucien isn’t the typical alpha and displays the emotional intelligence and sensitivity to handle Leah while also maintaining his strength and leadership. Leah is strong-willed and she hides a lot of herself but is a strong female lead and I thoroughly enjoyed her resilience and her ability to stay true to herself. Forbidden is another tantalizing tale in the Shifters of Darkness Falls series and the murder mystery weaved throughout was a perfect mix of mystery and supernatural romance.

This is Leah's story. In the previous book of the series she is described as the crazy tough as nails, speaks her mind latent shifter. Leah is always there to assist and support her friends. In this book we get a glimpse of Leah's homelife and the reason she keeps everyone away. All that changes when she finds her mate but fights the connection and burning need to be with him. She eventually succumbs to her fate. We also learn the identity of the serial killer.

I have waited not so patiently for Leah's story since book 1 in this series. Bravo JQ, you did good.

Really enjoyed Leah's book. All the characters are really well written and although they each are endearing, Leah holds a special place. Waited patiently for this book and it was well worth it.

I have been waiting for the latents, Leah, story. This entire series has been amazing! Leah and Lucian make an incredible pair and their story is absolutely perfect. And the serial killer is finally caught!

We finally get to Leah the fun latent shifter and her alpha mate. As well as solving the secrets of the wolf killing. Hopefully this will not be the end since I still have questions needing answers.

This series was the best I have read in awhile with great characters which are quite in dept and you hear from every character as you have this wonderful insightful journey with them.
This was the hardest book to read, the last one as you knew it was winding into the close of all of the story lines.
