If You’ve Always Wondered about What Makes Serial Killers Kill, and What Makes Them Kill in the Way They Do, This Book Is for You. Serial Killers are not always the first thing you think of them- as discussed in the book, they have common characteristics, but each presents a unique pattern, type of victims, and motives
The brilliant introduction of the book gives you a general but clear idea about their psychological types, common childhood traumas, murder weapons, and the crime scenes they choose.
It’s a wonderful insight into the realistic psychology of serial killers- some murder for pleasure, some do so for gain. Not all of them leave clues, and they plan their crimes to be unidentifiable even years later.
Some kill for fame, and some kill for easing their childhood traumas. They never, however, kill for money.
In this book, you will learn about the most famous serial killers and mysterious cases that have been masterfully concealed or intentionally revealed by the killers.
You will learn about how they get started, and how they end up, what their childhoods were like, and what they fear the most.
You will find out how to spot serial killers, and what to expect from them as criminals.
Famous murderers from Jack the Ripper to Amelia Dyer will be exposing themselves before you, while going through their target prey, patterns, and mindsets.
If you’re ready to tune in with the most mind-bending stories about scandalous murders of all times…

3.4 ⭐s United Kingdom Killers The author breaks down killers from all over the United Kingdom. He discusses who serial killers are, why they kill, and how victims are selected. In most serial killings in the UK guns are not used. They are not as readily available as in the USA. Strangulation, poison, knives, and blunt force trauma are the common methods of choice.
Matthew Clark starts off with one of the best known yet never identified serial killers Jack the Ripper. The graphic descriptions are not for the squeamish. He demonstrated how easy it was to kill prostitutes even savagely right on the busy streets of London, though he did his trolling for vulnerable victims after dark. A pattern mimicked by many other especially in more rural areas of the UK. But it's to be noted that unfortunately due to the nature of their profession - sex workers are very vulnerable to the evil men that slay them. They are women who have mothers, sisters, friends, relatives, and children who grieve their violent deaths.
Not a great book. Didn't learn anything I haven't read before. Absolutely terrible spelling and grammar mistakes in the chapter regarding Christie. Really did struggle to make sense I of some of the sentences. Overall not impressed. Thank goodness it was a short read.
Although an interesting read, the frequency of mistakes within the narrative made it a difficult read. Repetitive phrases and missing words started to annoy me, if the book had been longer I'd have stopped reading well before the end
As someone with an interest in true crime, I was looking forward to reading this book, but I could not bring myself to finish it due to the appalling way it is written. Mr Clark, please get some proof readers who have a basic understanding of grammar.
Appalling grammar and spelling especially in the Christie chapter even by American standards. Clumsy and difficult to comprehend at times because of poor English.
