This is a well written second chance romance between Riley and Christopher. I loved their characters and the story line. The author gives them a hot chemistry and sweet romance , throws in the secret Riley has withheld for seven years to keep things interesting. I enjoyed reading their story and would recommend reading.

Christopher and Riley are two young people who were forced apart by circumstances beyond their control. This is not a typical erotic romance, but a sweet second chance life changing inspirational book. I really fell in love with the characters and enjoyed seeing them overcome all the obstacles life threw at them. Well written and well done.

Heck I adore these men from the Buffalo's Rugby Team.
Here we have the newly appointed Media consult top the team Christopher Brooks and the new reporter for the sport's website Sport100 Riley Adams.
These 2 are old flames from school & hadn't seen each other in over 7 yrs after the interference by Riley's father without either of them knowing & which made them hate each other. Here we see how they react towards each other, especially initially but then it's the unknown news that the 2 of them become closer & start talking. I really loved the story of Christopher & Riley. What Faith van actually do in life, especialy bringing them to do almost the same job, and bring them at the right time at thé dame place. And the beautyful gift, that's their son, that also brings them to resolve their problem, secrets to the light and form a strong family bound against all that's evil ! HIGHTLY RECOMMENDED

I absolutely adored these characters and their many facets. A few twists and turns that kept me guessing and wondering. But ultimately it was an unforgettably epic, yet unconventional, love story. You will be on an emotional roller coaster of anger, frustration, heartbreak. wonder, lust, hate, forgiveness, indecision, acceptance and LOVE. And the ride is just beautiful.

This is a great follow on from “Eye on the ball” . Nice to see familiar chacters reappear with a promise of further stories.
Great to see editing has been improved and now makes this an enjoyable read. Looking forward to the next one in the series.

I started at bedtime and shall we say morning came before I was putting this book down. Seven years is a long time to not know what really happened the day Christopher Brooks and Riley Adams' lives fell apart. If you want to know the answer I would say read this book you will not be disappointed. I received a copy of this book and I am leaving a voluntary review.

From the description of this book I had a suspicion that there might be a secret baby somewhere in the story. And if it's one thing I do love, it's secret baby romances because there is always a heartwarming story behind it. Riley and Christopher deserve their second chance. I'm so glad I read this!

This story is even better than the first "Playing for Glory" story! This is a wonderful second chance romance for Riley and Christopher. A past to overcome, forgiveness, secrets and love. Loved their story and the chemistry and passion they share is wonderful! This a very well written story with wonderful characters!

A good second chance at love story with a believable storyline. The two main characters each are broken when the other is mislead in believing they no longer want to be with one another. Years go by and fate intervenes. I was pulled in by the author's ability to make these characters relatable. The story moved at a good pace, the emotions were palatable, and the ending satisfying.

I enjoy a good second chance romance and Christopher and Riley's book did not disappoint. These two were each others first love until Riley broke his heart now seven years have past and they see each other again for the first time, he still has not forgiven her but what he does not know is that she has been keeping a huge secret from him will he be able to forgive her or will he hate her forever. I really liked this one and am looking forward to reading more in the future.

The beginning immediately pulls you in. Easily understandable. Well written even if you haven’t read other books in series. A great story. Pulls you in with all the emotions.

This is the second Francine Book I’ve read. To be honest, I didn’t like Christopher at first. I thought he was rude and obnoxious but as the story unfolds, I realised that there many misunderstandings – reasons why Christopher behaved as it did. My heart broke for Jon, who only wanted his father. That was the storyline that kept me hooked to the end. It was a well-written emotional read with love and harmony triumphing in the end.
