Darcy Field has made a promise to her brother: No more dating his friends. Ever. Which is fine, because all of her brother’s friends are massive losers. Thanks to them, she’s spent one too many Valentine’s Days with crushed dreams, a broken heart, and zero chocolate. But when Darcy is forced to attend the annual singles' event at Lonesome Coffee—her family’s coffee shop in the small town of Emerson, Massachusetts—a certain promise may become very hard to keep.
Stuck on Your Heart is a novelette of approximately 18,000 words.
Beth Labonte received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She worked as an administrative assistant for fourteen years, turning to writing as her creative outlet in an excruciatingly mundane corporate world. Beth now writes full-time and resides in Massachusetts.

Likes: ~Cute cover ~Relatable MC is not a fan of Valentine's Day. I don't really celebrate either.
Dislikes: ~I'm very selective when it comes to the romance genre, and this wasn't working for me. I'm not the author's intended target. ~ At one point, it is suggested that a male character may or may not have a male date for the night. I don't agree with or support that lifestyle and the fact that it even came off as a possibility in a positive way was a complete turn-off for me. Following that, there was a brief mention of an erotic item, and I just gave up after that.
Overall: ~1 star. It's a novelty for Valentine's Day but it's not for me. I don't like DNFing another book so soon, but I've got too many other books waiting on me and I can't continue this in good conscience. ~I personally don't recommend this to my friends but if none of my points bother you, then you might enjoy this.
This was SO CUTE! It was my second read by this author and once again, I was left feeling all the warm fuzzies and the happiest feelings.
Darcy is anti-Valentine’s Day, she’s bitter about it really, can’t stand the holiday. And when she meets Jake at a drug store amidst all the crazy V-Day last-minute shoppers, she can’t help but think maybe it’s not so bad after all.
This quick and sweet read was an adorably charming story with Valentine’s Day just around the corner. It has the perfect amount of humor, heart, and cuteness. I was left with a big smile on my face.
This was such a sweet romance! Darcey has had bad luck with Valentine's Day dates and this year she is determined to have no expectations and remain uninvolved. In addition, her brother has forbidden her to get involved with any of his friends again as her romantic failures tend to affect his friendships. But then she meets this guy in a queue in the local store, just her luck that he is also her brother's latest friend. A quick, light read.
What a great, sweet read! It was a perfect weekend to read it for me - Valentines weekend! Darcy is definitely not a Valentines girl. She actually despises Valentines Day and everything it represents. However, her parents own Lonesome Coffee where they sponsor the Lonesome Hearts Valentines event for singles. Darcy is in for an unexpected surprise. If you have about 30 or 45 minutes to sit down and read this book, I promise you will not be disappointed especially if you are a hopeless romantic!
this was a cute quick read by an author who is known for her holiday romances and i have read a few of her other books, so i expected it to be similar. i have celebrated many valentines days and galentines days over the years, but i have always believed that you should show those you love the same feelings every day, not just on a commercialized holiday where you are told to. this book was a perfect anti-turned-happy valentines day story though i read it a little bit early.
It's not often a believable love story can be told happening in the course of a single night but Beth Labonte succeeded with Stuck on Your Heart. Is Bennet's love story next? My fingers are crossed.
This was such a cute romance and my first read from Beth Labonte.
It's a short story, to the point and just the right amount of soppy and loved up. I could picture it all! This book left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. I loved it!
I'll definitely be reading more from Beth Labonte.
This book actually made me laugh out loud, which is pretty rare. The ending was definitely a little rushed but it’s a novellette so that wasn’t a huge surprise. Overall it was really cute :)
It was short and sweet exactly like the title suggests. It has, most surprisingly, a lot of tension. Will they get together, or won't they. It's a totally clean and harmless book, unless you die from an overload of cuteness, happiness and relief :p! I highly recommend it. I got it free!
