This digital box set contains the seventh, eighth, and ninth thrillers:

The Devil's Stop
: refers to all the places in the USA named after the devil, like Hellbent, New Hampshire, a small town that time forgot. The first day there, Jack Widow meets a beautiful former Air Force MP who's desperately seeking her husband all while being nearly nine months pregnant. Widow--being the man he is--means that he's got to help. What starts as a simple missing person soon turns deadly when they uncover that the missing husband was involved in a top-secret government nuclear program and the evil team of dishonored mercenaries who are after it.

Black Daylight: Jack Widow walks a lonely, snowy road at night when he witnesses a heinous crime. The only glimpse of the culprit he gets are taillights that fade into the mist. Widow does all he can to help, but when he does the local South Dakota police, and the FBI see him as suspect number one.

The Standoff: Jack Widow gets more than he bargained for after an ATF raid on a deranged, militant cult goes horribly wrong, killing dozens of people and crippling law enforcement's ability to track down the cult's leader. Widow faces-off against true terror in order to save a family that took him in.

About the author

Scott Blade

USA TODAY and AMAZON BESTSELLER - Scott Blade is a Nomadvelist, a drifter and author. He writes the bestselling Jack Widow book series, two of which reached the Top 100 list on Amazon, knocking Harry Potter & Jack Reacher off the top spots, which angered one of the big publishers. Scott wears that fact as a badge of honor.

Scott Blade isn't a traditional novelist who spends his time stuck behind a computer desk in some dreary office. He truly walks the walk. He drifts around like the nomad he writes about, touring the world, writing mysteries and searching for the perfect coffee.

worst set of the series so far

It felt like no one really cared to edit this set of books. Not sure if the individual books were taken care of better but this collection seemed ignored. The stories were fine. Hopefully, the next ones are reviewed and edited better.

My hero

Brilliant tales of a slightly flawed, but very honest man. Brings all his Marine experience to save all sorts, as he lives his nomadic life across America. I love him, you will too.

Readable

The amount of times the supposed good guys give up their weapons and are killed anyway is beyond annoying I almost stop reading these stories. Ugh. But the rest of the stories was good.

Very unique story line. Written well to capture “what’s next!”. Sometimes difficult to follow who spoke in the conversations.

10 and 11 were great books but 12 The Standoff sucked. I hated the Adons character. Jack widow hardly had any part in it and I was very disappointed in this one book of the series.
