Rate this book
Aurora Bryant left for college with the hopes of having a semblance of normalcy. After a rough break up and her father’s battle with cancer tainted her high school experience, she really hoped that college could be different for her. But after not even a full week of classes, she caught the eye of all three members of Achilles Heel, a local rock band fresh off their first tour. What she didn’t know is that these boys were tangled up in a world darker than her worst nightmares.

PRINCESS is a full length mature college/new adult romance, the first in a series of three. This is a reverse harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. It contains sex, violence, swearing, death, drugs, and a myriad of other triggers. You have been warned.

This is a MFMM that goes no where spice is meh and not what is expected with a RH IMO. The men in one band are all obsessed from first sight with her, but even though one was cheated on my his ex they suddenly are all ok to share. oooh, and surprise she is a virgin with absolutely no experience.

She is getting into bars and drinking at 17, conveniently her 18th birthday is right at the beginning. No mention to how old these men are one is a widower and the wife has been dead for 4 years. Her being a literal child made me want to DNF, why do authors believe MFC have to be children.. she could easily have been in her 20’s.

None of the characters are very in depth, none of the drama has a conclusion or even a conversation, just “talk later” and they sleep all day or weekend. The band plays exactly once, but they are “rockstars”. They are available 24/7 at her beck and call around her schedule. There are a lot of holes in this plot.

Oh. My. God. I have no words!!!
This book was SO FREAKING GOOD.
I will say it had a fair amount of grammatical errors. For me personally, it just pulls me out of the story when I see a typo of some kind and then have to try and figure out what word is missing, or where the dialogue was suppose to end, etc.
Despite that, the story was AMAZING and had me hooked super quick!!

I also went into this book blind after seeing a TikTok on who the guys were based on 🥵 I had no idea what a reverse harem was so I was sitting here rooting for one guy in particular (Adonis) and eventually I realized I didn’t have to root for anyone, just sit back and enjoy the ride! 🤯

First, I want to express this feels like it came right off of Wattpad. Next, I just want to express my annoyance that every time Aurora was left alone she was almost sexually assaulted by someone. The plot line barely existed beside three men pretending like they want to share a girl, who isn’t even sure of her own feelings and constantly leading them on. Then magically at the end she finds out that they use to deal with drugs. It took 200 some pages for that to even get added into the plot. It ends on a cliff hanger and I’m not even sure I want to read the second one to figure it out. It also needs a lot of look over with grammar and spelling errors.

"Princess" by Kristen Sibal is a compelling college romance that delves into the complexities of love, trauma, and self-discovery. Aurora Bryant, a college student seeking solace from a troubled past, finds herself entangled with the members of Achilles Heel, a rock band with a dark side. Sibal skillfully weaves a web of emotions and secrets, keeping readers on their toes as they uncover the characters' hidden depths.

While the story captivates and explores mature themes, it would benefit from further editing. The pacing can feel rushed at times, and the occasional grammatical and syntactical errors detract from the overall reading experience.

Despite these minor shortcomings, "Princess" remains a gripping read that pushes literary boundaries. Kristen Sibal's writing prowess shines through, creating a haunting and visceral tale that leaves a lasting impact. Fans of dark and intense college romances will find themselves engrossed in Aurora's journey.

Okay Read

I was really into it at the beginning, but the more I read the less I was interested in finishing.
The story was good but I found that the writing was choppy and messy. The tension would build and then fall flat. There were enough large grammatical errors that also took me out of the story occasionally.
I think this has the makings for a good book, but needs more editing and read throughs.
Though the ending gave me a hook that makes me consider reading the next book in the series, I don’t think I’m going to continue.
Overall was good, but needs work still.

Holy crap!
I first heard about this book on the authors TikTok. It was the first why choose/reverse harem I have ever read and it started me back on my reading journey and was the first book I had read in over 2 years. My goodness!!! This book sparked my interest with just the right amount of spice. Knowing who the real life men are who inspired the men in the story really helped me imagine the scenes. 10/10 would recommend! This is the book that reminded me of my love for reading after 2 years of not reading.

I liked the story line for the most part, though there is a lot going on that’s not written to go together very well. The story line reminds me of the Madison Kate series, but at a beginner writer level. The amount of spelling errors, grammatical errors, missing words, and sentences that don’t flow or make sense is astonishing. I would have enjoyed the book a lot more if I wasn’t playing Mad Libs half the time. Trying to figure out what the line was supposed to be took me out of the story repeatedly.

BookTok Let Me Down

If I had to read about a shower one more time, I was going to absolutely lose it. It’s like…. Hi. I’m gonna shower. She takes 3 steps. Another shower. Like seriously every 7 pages there is a mention of taking a shower. 75% of the way into this book and I still have no clue what is happening. How these 4 are even meshing. Very little character development. So cliché.

Instalove. The FMC is 17. The "rock stars" are in a band that plays once at a local dive bar. These are older dudes obsessed from jump with a barely legal virgin who can't even drink one drink without being stupid drunk. Plus grammatical errors. At one point one of the guys is taking her to his dead wives grave and TWO pages later they are naked together in the shower. Like every single one of these guys gives me such an ick.

A Library of Tropes

While an interesting start, unfortunately this book tries to do everything but falls flat. It has every possible trope but with no real character development it got hard to stomach. A lot happened, but it all felt like plot points to check off and not natural. Along with a bevy of spelling and grammatical errors a few proof reads should have fixed it was tough to finish.

This book was atrociously bad. I’ve read AO3 and Wattpad entries that had better editing than this book. Grammatical errors. Spelling errors. Poor sentence structure. And the all around ick factor of the FMC being 17 turning 18, being barely legal herself for the themes of this book. The only reason I didn’t end this book was because I hate not knowing the ending. Then the book ended on a cliffhanger so I could have dnf-ed anyways. I will not be reading the sequels, that is for sure

I sat and devoured this book in our sitting!

Samson being the big teddy bear with the loss and grief you just wanna hold him!

Orion is just a whole golden retriever vibe and I am here for it !

And Adonis... Daddy.. sorry... Daddy sorry.

Omg the spicy 🥵🥵

Immediately picked up the second book, at 1 am!

I do not understand how a book can have so many grammatical and editing errors?!
3 hot mid-20s “famous” musicians all fall in love with an 18 year old virgin at first sight? Sure.
With that said I will definitely read the rest of the series still cause reverse harems are my favorite romance troupe 💁🏻‍♀️

This book was so dumb. Ha. It was all over the place. The typos were excessive, and the poor grammar was atrocious. I rolled my eyes so much and visibly cringed a few times. The reactions to certain things... so dumb. Then when major things would occur, it would just get swept under the rug. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

But will I read the next one in the trilogy? Yeah. I'm a sucker for a why choose.

OoO LAWD!!! 🥵🥵🥵 If you’re looking for something steamy this is 100% for you. So damn hot the pages could singe your fingers. Yes there were some grammatical errors but it was simple to deduce the meaning through context. I stayed up until after midnight to finish reading, then pulled up the second book, and instead of just setting my place I ended up staying up another 30 minutes. I was not happy about my 4:30AM alarm, but oof it was worth it.

I'm sorry, but this was a DNF for me. This takes place in college, so there's really no reason this girl had to be 17 (turning 18) with 3 grown men obsessed with her. Can authors please be done with this troupe

2.75, but rounded down.
Regardless of typos, too much unnecessary drama, off pacing and cringey things here and there – the characters are interesting enough and the dynamic between them is fun. It's not particularly spicy, but it's a nice tingle on the tongue.

Great book, great plot. Great character development. I wish there was a little more detail on certain things and a little less “sculpted” etc description of the the men. Some typos but overall a great book. Excited to start Peaches next.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 77%.
Since she was only just 18, had been almost assaulted 2 times by different guys, in a why choose situation and I bet the guys are into selling drugs or something. It just wasn’t clicking for me at all.

These were recommended through a creator on booktok and while they were good books I did not absolutely love either of them. Both ended on cliffhangers which I am not overly fond of, and the never ending threat to the main character got old real fast.
