This book was stunning! The FMC wins your heart in the end, she shows real growth. But from the start the MMC Raine will have you captivated. He is my favourite of all the series. Best ending by far as well. It was really original and had my jaw dropping and heart racing! I love this book so much!

This story had me right from the get go. I loved the first three books so knew immediately I would love this one too. What I was not expecting was just how much I would love this one. Raine definitely has regular appearances in my dreams and has a hold on my heart. Steven is HILARIOUS, I want to join him in mystic mode #iykyk.

The Prince of the Deep by FR Black is an intense and emotionally charged addition to a series that has already captured the hearts of its readers. If you've been following the series, you know that it doesn’t let up, and this latest installment is no exception—it had me on the edge of my seat, fluctuating between stress and tears, as I followed Camila’s journey.

The story opens with Camila, a woman hardened by her tumultuous past—raised by a drug lord father and familiar with the complexities of blood, betrayal, and power. Her life is turned upside down when her father is murdered, leaving her to fend for herself. But things take an unexpected turn when she’s nearly killed, only to be offered a chance at survival by a mysterious man who works for the enigmatic Fairy Godmother Inc. A deal is struck, one that promises her life in exchange for her loyalty and the signing of a contract that binds her to their mysterious organization.

The plot weaves in a thrilling mix of fantasy, romance, and intrigue as we explore the balance between good and evil through the lens of true love's kiss. Fairy Godmother Inc., which plays a major role in the world-building, is a captivating organization that governs the forces of love and magic, and it’s evident that the stakes are incredibly high for all involved.

Camila is a fascinating character—tough, intelligent, and filled with layers that make her journey all the more engaging. Her emotional evolution throughout the book is heart-wrenching, as she not only grapples with her past but also begins to confront her fears and vulnerabilities in the face of an unexpected romance. The chemistry between her and the mysterious man is palpable, and their bond grows from necessity to something far deeper and more profound.

What sets The Prince of the Deep apart from other books in the series is how effectively it builds tension—both in the action-packed sequences and the emotional stakes. I was left alternately crying from fear and happiness, as Camila faces her own demons while also navigating her feelings toward the man who is proving to everyone in his world that he is a true villain.

If you’ve been following the series, The Prince of the Deep will not disappoint. The writing is sharp, the characters are unforgettable, and the plot is filled with twists that will leave you anxiously awaiting the next book. It’s a thrilling rollercoaster of emotions that will have you hooked from start to finish.

This book blew my mind!! The passion, suspenses, and the twists kept me flipping pages very quickly. It had me laughing, crying, and pining. I swear this book brought out every emotion with its plot and characters. The author outdid herself. Usually by the 4th book in the series, you’ve lost me. I lose interest. However, not this one!! She created new characters, settings, and plots. Will read this series until the end. However, this is by far my favorite one so far!

This is the most kilig for me. This is a fun read starting from the first few chapters especially for Camilla's high moments and thinking that she was in the dungeon with his fiancé's bodyguard. She can write romantic scenes without it being spicy. I love how she writes stories that will captivate you. The narrative flows smoothly, with well-timed reveals and plot twists that maintain suspense and interest.

F.R. Black's writing is vivid and evocative, creating a richly detailed underwater world that feels both magical and real. The pacing of the novel is well-structured, with a mix of action, romance, and character development that keeps readers engaged throughout.

I always fell in love with the main characters.

Book 4 takes place on a water world and I loved how Camilla was this super materialistic fmc who just wanted to be taken care of, but through this love competition she figures out why that may not always work out…

Raine is our morally grey MMC, who has this instant connection with Camilla! And let me tell you…. A meet cute in a jail cell, now thats how you tell a story! 😆 I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone, but ahh!! It’s so good to be thrown back into the FGI world!

What can I say about this series except how much I loved it! Each book is just amazing, the plot is always so well thought and so well written. It makes me long to be working for FGI myself.

The romance, once again, was incredible. Their tension, their build-up, their admission is just amazing. F.R. Black knows how to provide a romance. This is one of my favorite series of all time and I re-read this series at least 3 times before it got published.

I love the agents so much, they are absolutely hilarious.

The MMC in this one is a very, very close second fave of all the book boyfriends I've read, and that's saying a lot. I've read acotar and from blood and ash, and this one tops both. The FMC is strong and independent, but it's ine if the side characters that really makes this book stand out in the whole series. Loved this one so much.

these books are great!

I think this might have been one of my favorite Fairy Godmother Inc stories! Camila had to overcome her innate sense of how to survive and not repeat her past. Poor Raine had such a chip on his shoulder and had so many issues of his past! This is the happiest ever after I have read so far and I would read it again and again!

I love this author sooo much .... it dropped to 4.5 stars for me because this one was confusing to read at times - the plot felt a little all over the place and it was not as easy as I would have liked to keep all the characters straight. That being said I am blown away by the world building and character development from all the books in this series! I have already downloaded the next one.

FGI does it again balancing the universal scale of right and wrong by bringing love to powerful men in need. Love the magic problem solver, this world has a water world. This is FGI where girl power, perfect skin and big boobs win the heart . Totally silly but cute reads.

Name a fantasy romance book and I have read it. Shadow daddies, brooding bad boys, charming playboy, tortured hero... and none can beat Raine in my eyes. This entire series is fantastic and so much fun. However, once reading this "mission," the rest of the missions were me going "awe" over someone else's romance whereas this prince of the deep had me metamorphose into Camila.
