Here we have two young people who have some traits in common. Those are unraveled as the story winds on. It is somewhat witty on occasion even though there are serious undertones as well. It felt, for the most part, like real life experiences with some magnifying traits. Overall a good story and one very worthy of the four stars I am giving it here.

Brea has a history of picking the wrong man and when her most recent boyfriend ends up getting her arrested she decides enough is enough and puts a ban on anymore men.
But when she ends up staying with a friend and meeting his sext cousin Sawyer she starts to regret her ban.
Sawyer is attracted to Brea, he hasn't felt this way about anyone before not even his ex wife. But Sawyer has put restrictions in his life so he doesn't get hurt again too. But he is determined to change Brea's mind about her ban.

I enjoyed this story and would recommend it. It is the second book in a series but can be read on its own. I would recommend reading the first book too.

Oh so satisfying!

Brea's heart has been used, abused and battered. She is hanging a sign that says No Men Allowed! When her latest loser almost gets her arrested she packs up her emotions and her things to go to Haven with her friends.

A 30 day job offer with only herself and lovable pooch to keep her company sounds like heaven and just what she needs.

Sawyer learned that marriage is not his thing and vows to never take vows again. But Brea, with her sassy attitude and killer looks has him wanting to tear up the sheets.

Dangerous nights and dangerous people have her in knots and him wanting to be her hero.

Follow them as they fight her inner demons and bond over making ill children happy. Watch out as he wages war with those negative voices she hears. And cheer for their beautiful HEA!

Wet Dream by Jenna Jacob was so much fun and so full of heat and irresistible passion and incredible, laugh out loud moments that I couldn't resist a reread! I read this TWICE in just a few days because it was THAT much fun.

Brea and Sawyer are combustible together! Their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS STEAMY and the sex was downright swoon worthy while the plot...yep, perfection! I was suprised on how quickly I went through the story not once, but twice. Not saying that doesn't happen, but it usually takes me a couple weeks to want to reread a story but this one, I just couldn't resist!

Jenna Jacob created a series that is both sexy and fun with hilarious moments, and sexy as sin ones too! I can't freaking wait to see what else is next! I give this sinful novel a EXCITING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! It is a romantic comedy that will make you giggle and weak in the knees. A true delight!

good read

Enjoyable read and loved the larger than life sawyer. Good storyline and easy to read.would have ended seeing a bit further into the future but with all the other family characters presume they’ll be there too.

The second book in "Cowboys of Haven Series" with this being Sawyer and Brea's story each book can standalone, but they are outstanding read inorder. Colton, Jade, and Brea all knew each other from high school. Brea was living in Denton, Texas with another one of her dead beat boyfriend's, Weed when she got home from work to discover the police at their home arresting Weed for selling meth to school kids. She ended up in jail too, because she lived with him. She called Colton with her one phone call, so him and Jade came to get her taking her back to Haven to stay with them. When they got to town, they stopped at Toots for dinner where they ran into Sawyer Grayson a cousin to Colton. Brea had made the declaration on the way to Haven that she was swearing off men, but Sawyer only had two rules after his divorce. He would never wake up with a woman in his bed and he would not say I do again, but when he met Brea there was something different about her. He just could not figure it out. Brea stayed one night with Colton and Jade before she was able to find herself a house/dog setting job. The only bad thing, Sawyer turned out to be her neighbor. Weed sent his drug dealing boss her way, and she got a taste of some of the eccentric people of Haven. Sawyer would have to work hard to prove he was different from all the other dead beat men in Brea's past. This was one fantastic story you never really knew what might happen next. It was serious one moment then it would turn funny. Sawyer has five brothers and they are always pulling something on each other, but you knew they were there for each other too. I could not put it down.

In this book we meet Brea Gates & Sawyer Grayson. Brea is on a break from men. She seems to have gone from one loser to another all in the hopes of finding a HEA. This latest one though had taken the cake after almost being arrested for drug dealing after she finds out the latest guys she was with is selling it to kids she is done. So she calls her one friend she can count on and Carson and Jade come to the rescue. This is good until she meet Carson's cousin Sawyer and he makes her rethink her ban on men. Sawyer has been very guarded since his ex-wife cheated on him and left him for the man she cheated on him with. He is one of those one and done kind of guys that is until he meets Brea. Brea gets his body reeving and his pulse pounding just by seeing her. He has never felt this way with a woman before and wants to see where this will go. Can two people who have been hurt by love in the past find a HEA or will this just be a 30 day wild ride?

Another amazing story by this author. This is one of those stories that will grab you on page one and not let go even at the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Two emotionally wounded, fragile people so drawn to each other that the the intensity of the attraction that arcs between them is palpable to any and all onlookers and friends. Yet, both parties are in denial of different sorts. If it wasn't for bad taste in men Brea Gates wouldn't have any taste at all. She keeps pickng the worst of the male species in hopes of finding the fairytale and her HEA. She's sassy, brash, funny and beautiful not that she'd believe it if you told her. Sawyer Grayson takes one look at Brea and he wants to be "all over that" but only for sexy fun and games. He tried the marriage thing...yeah that didn't work out so well. So commitment free dalliance is the name of the game. Convincing Brea he's a good guy? Well that's another story. Not that she doesn't want him. If Sawyer is replacing Matthew McConaughey at the top of Brea's fantasies list he must be one incredibly sexy hunk. Somewhere along the way while becoming friends, those pesky unwanted emotions creep up on both of them. They find that real love is healthy, makes everything better (especially the sexy parts) and happiness is a good thing.

This was a small town cowboy romance.

Brea Gates is a loser magnet as far as the men she dates. Her latest ex lands her in jail because he was dealing drugs. Fortunately, her high school friend Colton Maddox offers her a place to stay with him and his new wife in Haven. Brea decides the best course of action for her is to enact a man ban.

Sawyer Grayson is a rough hewn cowboy who helps operate a ranch where terminally ill children come and enjoy normal activities. His entire family helps run the ranch. He is a player and is divorced. When he sees Brea he is struck by her and tries to convince her to spend time with him, but she turns him down cold even though she is wildly attracted to him.

Brea gets hired as a house and dog sitter and her neighbor turns out to be Sawyer. They almost hook up several times but something always comes up. After saving her from a drug dealer, Sawyer decides to build a friendship with her. Their relationship eventually turns into love and they get their HEA.

'The Cowboy's Thirty-Day Fling' by Jenna Jacob is the second book in her Cowboys of Haven series and tells the story of Brea, who has given up on romance and is moving to Haven for a new start, and Sawyer, a cowboy and a player. Brea has put herself on a "man ban" because all she does is pick men who use her, abuse her, and lose her. Sawyer meets Brea at his cousin's house and is immediately captivated. Brea is floored by the eye candy that is Sawyer but she vows to be strong. Sawyer wonders if he can convince Brea to have some no strings fun.

Ms. Jacob has written a stellar addition to her series. The chemistry and feelings between Brea and Sawyer jumps off the page. Two hurt souls that find healing together. This story has drama, trust issues, swagger, laughs, heat, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of swagger with their romance. I can not wait for the next one.

The Cowboy's Thirty-Day Fling by Jenna Jacob is the second book in the Cowboys of Haven series and a story that made me laugh so hard from the very beginning, I constantly stopped so I could wipe my eyes. To say Brea’s dialogue is colourful is a vast understatement, as it’s so hilariously descriptive that nothing is left to the imagination, and once you add Sawyer into the equation, the banter is outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed this book the first time I read it, but the second time around was a gem. There’s so much to love about this book that it’s better off read for yourself so that you truly appreciate the character interactions and the friendships that have stood the test of time between Colton, Sawyer Brea and Jade. I can’t wait for the next in the series and I’m sure it will be just as entertaining.

OMG! I think I need to move to Haven!!!!! Brea has had a string of loser boyfriends, but her latest Weed takes the cake! After being arrested for selling drugs, he tries to take her down with him. This is when she reaches to her friend Colton who takes her to his ranch in Haven to rest and think about her future. After claiming she is on a man ban, Brea meets Sawyer. This cowboy is tall, gorgeous, sexy, kind and can make her forget her vow to herself. While trying to discover if she can live with/by herself Brea has all sorts of trying situations that would make a weak person fold, but she stands up for herself and carries on. Will this sweetheart find her HEA? will this cowboy believe in love again after being burned before? Thae two broken characters come together in the most entertaining, interesting way possible! I volunteered to review this fabulous story.

I’m thinking I need to move to Haven, Texas! I need to find me my own Grayson to have!

Brea Gates and Sawyer Grayson – now these two cracked me up from the beginning. Brea has placed a “man-ban” on herself until “she kisses the obligatory quotient of frogs and finds her own Prince Charming”. Sawyer has done the commitment thing and it didn’t turn out the best for him – so he is now a loving and leaving em.

Until these two set eyes on each other – all bets are off. They both give as good as they can take. The banter, the comments, the sinful looks and touches. Both have baggage that need to be unpacked and pasts that need to placed in bags and buried.

Loved that they took their time developing their friendship first even though lust is hanging very close to the edge the entire time!

Omg this book was absolutely fantastic and will have you enthralled from the beginning until the end and the storyline flows throughout the book. Jenna's incredible writing will have you laughing in tears and then will gut you in the next paragraph. You feel the pain the characters feel and their emotions hit you straight to the heart. Brea is giving up men and doing a men ban but when she meets Sawyer darks fly but will she keep fighting to stay away from him? Sawyer has been through a bad marriage and divorce but when he meets Brea can he convince her to give him a chance with no strings and no feelings? I absolutely loved this book. I have to say this is absolutely one of my new favorite series only 2 books .I can't wait to see what happens next.

Brea has sworn off men after too many problems with the relationships. Her latest one landed her in jail for a bit. When she decides to leave town for a fresh start, she ends up meeting Sawyer. He's not wanting to get involved with anyone after being burned. Of course, you know what's bound to happen. LOL Loved watching these two broken characters find their way in a relationship that neither of them knew they wanted. The story worked so well for me and I enjoyed it. I've always had a thing for cowboys and Jenna Jacob writes some of the hottest ones around!! Go pick this book up and take a trip to Haven.

The second Haven book but you can read it as a standalone.

What I enjoyed about this book was getting to know the Grayson family and visiting the farm. The scene between Sawyer and little Tina was just so precious. And I love how the brothers interacted with each other.

Brea to be honest annoyed me as a character. Her constant obsession with her libido was just a bit too much. I wonder how she functions on a daily basis. There is no doubt there is a huge attraction between Sawyer and Brea. Fireworks are going off, but I missed the real connection between them. The HEA just doesn’t come across as “real”. It went too soon for what I as a reader felt and saw between them.

After a long list of Brea dating undesirable males that left her heart broken and rejected. The last one not only committed a crime, but he even tried implicating her. Brea decided she was done with men. She was taking a break altogether, no more leaving her jobs and giving her body to men who don't deserve her. Now she is in Haven with her high school buddies, hoping to take things slow. Even if she wanted to try the whole men thing again, Payboy Sawyer should be the last person on her list, or shouldn't he!

You definitely don't want to miss out on the next installment in the cowboy hotties of Haven. Can be read as a stand-alone, you can catch up on the Jade and Colton story later.

Risking It All . . .

This is the first book in the hotties in Haven series by Jenna Jacob and she does not disappoint. Brea ends up calling Colton and Jade (from sin on a stick) after a run of bad luck) and needing their help and reconnecting with their friendship from high school the three of them make you laugh. Sawyer is a friend and local that that Brea meets and the chemistry she can't stay away from him even though she made a deal with herself to ban men. Will they be able to work together. This is is a great story and a great new series. I am loving this updated to this wonderful series.

Two wounded souls found love.
Neither of these characters have had an easy time of it and trust is a big issue. Brea string of losers and Sawyer marriage were of the charts awful. Now can these two find the special something in each other? This was an interesting and engaging story and I was cheering the characters on! Written so well the characters will draw you into their tale, the steam will keep you and the end will bring a smile to your face. It was a lovely book to spend time with. Brea has the worst luck picking guys and finally reaches out to a friend and goes to his ranch to get away from it all and press the restart button while contemplating what she really wants from the future. While there she meets Sawyer, at the absolute worst time as she has just sworn off men! Sawyer has been hurt before too, as his marriage and divorce really took a toll on his stance on marriage and so now, he’s really just become a player. They have a slow-burn relationship with oodles of chemistry, but both deny what’s right there between them. Absolutely delightful!

I was immediately drawn to Brea and all the trouble that follows her. She says goodbye to her ex, and moves to Haven to take a break from her troubles. She meets Sawyer and is attracted to him but has a man ban. Every time they get close something or someone puts a stop to what could happen. She is trying hard to stay strong and not break her ban on men. He slowly wears her down but will he be her forever?

Jenna Jacobs did it again. I loved this book! The characters are funny, sweet, vulnerable and just a bit flawed. This book is a slow burn romance between a woman who is a bad judge of men and a cowboy with a huge heart but a bit of a reputation. The building of the relationship between these two was so fun to watch unfold. Once the sexual tension between these two finally reaches the boiling point the spice is off the chain! If you love cowboys (who doesn’t) read this book. It’s part of the Cowboys of Haven Series

This is the second story in the "Cowboys of Haven" series. This can be read as a stand alone read. This one is about Sawyer and Brea. It is a nicely developed story that is interesting and intriguing. After her piece of work and drug dealing boyfriend gets her in trouble her friends bring her back to Texas. Here she meets one of her friends cousin, Sawyer. He ends up being her next door neighbor. This is such a good story. I love the characters!

I loved this book, which was packed with adventure, fun, and surprises. Seeing her fight her internal battle was heartbreaking, but he was determined to help her break those walls down. So glad that she finally finds a good man (especially after her last one, and what a peach he was--not!), and that he finds himself a good woman who also helps heal him. A great book from the first page to the very last.

The Cowboy’s Thirty Day Fling is a steamy page turner with all of the feels. Brea has written off men after a series of bad relationships. Then she meets Sawyer. She is determined not to make another mistake, but Sawyer’s heart of gold works his way under her defenses. Jenna Jacob writes fabulous characters. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
