There's always a book that accompanies you in your current situation and Dear Dreamer proves to be one of them in my current state. I'm so grateful to God for always having my current read a timely reminder for me. Thank you Lord! I will always read and support Ms. Joena's books because it feels more personal to read her words inside a written book and it's really convicting and encouraging, too. I really love the part where she shared her support raising journey for an international missions. 🥺🙏 As a support raising campus missionary itself of 4 years, I can really attest to God's faithfulness in providing and sending people to support our calling and mission. 😭
P.S. I'm glad that most of her books are already in the Goodreads that's why I'll take my time to re-read the other books so I can rate them here in Goodreads because I need more godly reminders and encouragements at this point of my life. 🙏

I don’t know why I picked this book up at 12mn, just minutes after pouring myself out to God.
It felt like the Holy Spirit led me to read this and low and behold— I finished it in one seating. (Writing this at almost 2am lol) ~ [ definitely cried buckets in-between ]
Lately, I have been asking God to lead me in ways only He knows how. Praying for direction and peace.
This book reminded me the importance of having the right heart. Having a heart that is after God and knowing that His heart is also for me.

This is the perfect book, at just the right time; for me.
I have a Father Who is a promise keeper. A God who sees me. With this truth— I can dream, I can trust, I can hope.

picked it up at a random coffee shop. such a quick read! finished this in half an hour, entertaining i must say. good for those who are lost, but passionate. this book won’t change your life dramatically—but it is a good reminder, especially to catholics.

THIS BOOK IS INDEED A WELL WRITTEN - SPIRIT LED ONE. IT IS A GREAT REMINDER TO THOSE WHO DREAMS BIG, THAT GOD GOT IT ALL COVERED. THAT HE WANTS US TO RISK AND FIGHT FOR THE DREAM WITH HIM.

I see that even in this place. God sees me and cares for me. No matter what life looks like, wheverever we are, whatever season of life we find ourselves in — the best of times and in the messy times — God sees us. He has not forgotten us. It reveals God's heart for us.
This book is perfect for dreamers, especially those who are on their waiting seasons. Thank you Joena for reminding me to expand my horizons; that there's more to life than what I'm settling for. I found courage in this book to get out of my comfort zone, even if I'm not ready yet, it taught me that I won't be 100% ready, but that does not mean I should not go for it.
It taught me to put God above all else, to walk with Him in every season, in every phase of my journey.
So cheers, dreamers. Let's aim high and dream big, all for You and for God's glory.
