Gryphon Long was the forbidden fruit that I just couldn’t resist. His brooding demeanor had me panting after him despite my friends’ shallow warnings to stay away. strong finish
I wasn’t sure about this one. I have a hard time with pushy mommas and the daughters that don’t stand up for themselves because we weren’t raised that way. It’s a touch subject, but it all came together nicely in the end. I think I would have liked a better reason for them going 10 years without hooking up/dating but other than that, it was cool.

Pilar and Gryphon
I love Gryphon. The way he took up for Pia was beautiful. Her scars didn't falter or hinder the love he's always had for her, even when her family didn't want her to have anything to do with him. Sia is just a jealous bish. She have always been jealous of Pia and I love how Pia's mama put her in her place.💗💗

Loved this book!
I truly loved this book! Pilar and Gryphon have a connection many in her world, including her family, do not understand or accept. But she is a true person and position or status mean less to her than a persons heart. He feels the same and proves it.

On fire
It may be short but I know there's got to be more to come. Pilar was not that type to make fun of people with out. Gryphon didn't care if people laughed at him because he would be better then them later in life. For Pilar to have a crush on Gryphon since they where young just makes your heart just feel overjoyed. When an accident causes Pilar to be on a life changing road there's only one person who is not caring about her looks and that person is Gryphon. Not only does it help but it changes everyone's why they looked at Gryphon. Make sure you have tissue because you are going to need it.

I love how Gryphon stayed true to Pilar even through her accident. He’s a kind and gentle man. Pilar needed someone to love her just the way she was… Gryphon was her hero. As far as Sia is concerned, I can’t stand bullies, especially adult bullies.

Great Story!
Gryphon and Pilar are great. I just needed more. I loved that they both weren’t perfect. I didn’t like Pilar’s mom in the beginning. Yet even mom showed growth. I was disappointed in how it ended. I needed to know what happened? It’s a great story!

H.O.T 🔥🔥🔥
OMG! This book makes a girl wanna call 911! Yes y'all I kid you not. Gryphon & Pilar's story served everything on the Lunchtime menu. The prologue appetizer, the fire and heat of his pursuit and then the best dessert that man could ever want served. I almost wished this story didn't end. It was so juicy!! And Gryphon didn't care one bit about what happened to Pilar. Now that's a true King who let nothing stop him from getting to his Queen. Way to go Ms. L. Loren! This is one Fire Rescue I will be happy to revisit. 5⭐'s most definitely.

I liked that the small town hero was once the kid everyone picked on except Pilar. This was a quick small town read that reminded me that beauty is soul deep and ugly is wrapped in pretty, petty package.
Gryph was true to himself and his heart. I wanted more of this one.

This was truly amazing book. Ms Lren you did a fantastic job with this book. I loved the characters and the storyline. I could not put it down. Loved the chemistry between Grypton and Pilar it stood the test of time. So glad the mean girl got told off. I recommend this book to all my fellow romance lovers!
