Brilliant way to capture the essence of agile methodologies and the misconceptions that are generally involved.

Made me laugh out loud quite a few times! Would totally recommend to anyone that’s even remotely associated with the IT industry.
The only thing that bothered me a little was the difficulty in reading the panels; since I was using my phone for the most part, this became a little cumbersome.

So refreshing to see humor made out of painful situations Agile Coaches, POs and Devs go through.
I’ve worked as an Agile Coach and later as an “Agile Project Manager”. When I asked how could that be agile, the interviewer said “it’s easy: we do a mix of waterfall due to client contracts and agile to deliver fast and with no plans” - red flag 🚩 still gave that role a chance realized that, in the end, they wanted what the majority of organizations want:
⭐️ a Project Manager who can report on weekly all the details, including why velocity decreased so that they can send outcontractors your way to “speed up delivery” for a week and budget tracking because… well… clients are not willing to pay infinite money.
⭐️ an Agile Coach to guide and train the teams through continuous improvement and agile principles but not that well because there’s no time to handle documentation nor tech debt
⭐️ a Scrum Master because… ceremonies
⭐️ a Product Owner because no one was doing that job and there must be a person to make accountable for issues with clients other than the sponsor in the management team.
All in one. All of these hats in one person working 8h a day.
Loved the book and I’ll definitely pay attention to new comics released by Comic Agilé. I am taking advantage of this to coach my team in agile mindset and practices by showing them, with a little laugh, why many times agility takes the blame for disaster transformations
