Leticiel has begun to move forward in her new life as Drossell. Suddenly, a mysterious masked man appears who seems to know her former self from a thousand years ago, then tries to take away her magic. Before he flees, he leaves her some mysterious parting words as an explanation:
"Because we are two people whose destinies are intertwined."
Witnessing the destruction left in the wake of the masked man, Leticiel resolves to face the true power hidden within herself and stop him.
Must have been too long in between volumes, because I just didn’t care about the characters or the plot.
Also, since I was reading on a small screen, it was hard to see what was going on, other than the fan-service. And WOOT (not) having a crazy stalker as the bad guy. Not my fav trope.
3, I waited too long to continue, stars.

I feel like this probably shouldn't be as good as it is, but its inception take on isekai is really working, and the fact that it addresses Leticiel's takeover of Drossell's body makes it stand out in a crowded field. It's also unstintingly brutal at times, which I don't love but do respect, and I'm looking forward to volume four.
We get some answers, but there sure is still a lot to find out. I can't wait for more, especially now that we've seen beneath that masked guy's mask and learned who Zeke is.
Started out okay. Then proceeds to give us history lessons along with introducing more characters.
Most of the characters are continuing the same dialogue on multiple pages. Yes it answers some questions but I was eager for the story to continue. I don’t need to know everyone’s motivation in one book. This is about the PRINCESS, not the entire supporting cast.
Now I have to pay for the next book, not sure I want to.
🌱THE EXCELLENT ~ Blood magic ~ Damsel in a lot of distress (if you like that) ~ Fighting females in seggsy outfits (if you like that) ~ Kingdoms, Kings, Princes and Princesses ~ A curse with serious consequences
Ok, so, basically - there is this female that everyone seems to want, she has a sister (or two) and currently lives/studies at an academy. She is a princess who has been engaged to the prince of the Lumia Kingdom? - 🙈 For a number of years; HOWEVER, the ‘curse magic using’ Lapis Kingdom has been threatening the peace of Lumia, because a little boy with a mask said he would teach them about curse magic. TURNS OUT - This thousand plus year-old boy has wanted the main girl (Leticia? (Leticiel) / Dolores? 🤣 (Drossell) - and THIS L/D female has actually somewhat possessed the body of the OG Dolores. 🙈 L/D has powers to fight the miasma created by the cursed bodies and creatures roaming the land, and in this volume, she decides she will grow her power to help stop the suffering… good for her👏☺️ but she needs to find an Elemental - fairy like being - to help her.
No idea what the hell is happening - BUT I’ll check out the other volumes because I am curious 🤣✨Give it a read.
🌱THE MEH ~ Strange dialogues? (This female just seems confused 🤣) ~ Wearing high heels to a fight 😬 ~ Switching between characters/locations is a bit odd ~ At this point many motivations appear to be unclear
♡🌱 But that’s just me ;)

I wish I could say I enjoyed this volume within the Her Royal Highness Seems to be Angry series, but I felt it lacking so much more than providing. One, I still don't understand how Leticiel and Drossel are connected. Two, what has this black magic done, and how is it connected to Zeke/reincarnation of Nao? Three, where is Drossel, and what was she like prior to Leti possessing her? Four, how is Leti the type to give up? She sacrificed everything for her people, and when her world was shattered, she had a right to choose what to do. Five, will this series end in even a partial happily ever after with Leti being reunited with her loved ones, and Drossel restored to her original body pre-possession? I still can't tell if I like this series, or hate it, but it's definitely worth reading. Confusing as madness, but still entertaining despite all that. I simply wish the point of the plot was developed quicker; I want adventure and depth, not puzzles that don't make sense even after reading three books in the series. When will answers be granted to the readers? Make it make sense, please!
More plot lines started popping up with no clear distinct story. How am I supposed to feel about these characters when you introduce them with no real defining character.
Do I care about Mira and her childhood friend? Do I care about the women who showed up to menace them, who they seem to know and it seems to be some huge plot twist that she appears? Do I care about an elemental appearing, whom we are not told exists in this books universe? Whose timely appearance saved the main character in a desperate fight, gave the protagonist some boost in power and then almost in the same breathe, fucked off? Did I miss a book somewhere?
I know some manga are lambasted for dragging on and on but maybe this one could have used a little more world building. Dropping the series, I just cant care about the characters when it feels like you are trying to speedrunning a middling fantasy-isekai manga.

I guess it doesn’t matter when nothing makes any sense at all. I’m so disappointed…The translations are off at times—to the point I wonder how the grammar passed multiple rounds of editing—and the plot progression since the end of the first volume has made no sense at all.
None. None sense.
The story skips around, giving this effect of jump cuts to any epic bit of story rather than building on something with sensical story development.
Sigh. Oh well. Lately, manga I’ve given a try (due to boredom between my regular series volume releases) has been lackluster. To the point of accumulating a bag full of about 10 books I’ll be returning to my store…They were just so lackluster 😪
I was a tiny bit less convinced by this volume. The first two chapters really confused me. I didn’t quite get what was happening. I enjoyed the other chapters. There are still many mysteries but it’s good. I really want to learn more about it. Some characters seem suspicious, I will keep my guard up.
This isekai romance turned fanservice battle manga has gotten way too complicated (seriously how many magic systems are there??) and the end sees the series changing genres yet again into a fantasy quest. At this point... yeah I think I'm out, I don't care enough about the characters and am somewhat confused about the plot/magic so I'm not invested enough to be curious to continue.
This volume fell a bit compared to the past two volumes. However, it was still absolutely gorgeous and fairly enjoyable in regards to the plot line. The characters are growing, and something drastic is bound to happen soon. We just have to wait and see.
I'm a bit disappointed. I understand the natural progression of the story but it's left me feeling "eh." And nobody likes to feel that way after reading. But I do have volume 4 ready and at my finger tips, so I'm going to give it another volume before I decide.
The near constantly flashbacks this volume made the story completely disjointed. I had too reread so many pages, and still am not sure if I fully understands what was going on.
First two were solid stories with decent characters making understandable actions. This has fallen into cliche romance tropes and has lost any semblance to a solid story.
This volume was a hit hard to follow. Everyone seemed to have the same hairstyle and new characters were brought in without an introduction and I kept getting them mixed up.
Why was this volume so confusing??? 😭 I literally had no idea what was going on. Was I supposed to read the light novel first or something (even though I'm quite sure it's not available in English and the author has said that the manga deviates from the original plot)? Since this is the last volume (as of now) available on Kindle Unlimited, I will stop this series on this rather confusing volume.
