I binge-read my way through this series as each new book became available. Mr. Cameron makes it quite easy to become emotionally invested with the various characters - especially with the romances that blossomed in the face of trial and tribulation.
The relationship between Peter and Nightjar felt like it could have been explored a bit more during "quiet scenes", and I'll also say the ending was rather bittersweet to read. On the one hand, you get the Moondial rebuilt and the seven stones restored to it. On the other hand, Peter and Nightjar have been through so much together, and it felt so unfair that Nightjar had to stay with the Moondial to keep the Seven Worlds up and running. If I were talented at fanfiction (and I'm not), I'd consider writing something nice and "fluffy", showing the two of them in a place where they could be together. Peter could retake his grandmother's home on Earth, then he and Nightjar could vacation in Demeter every so often.
Then again, I'm a bit of a romantic. Not all endings pan out as a reader intends, and thus I accept the bittersweet ending as canon.

A great wrap up to a very enjoyable series. Peter Calender and his unlikely team of misfits unite to face Fell Craven and Gorn in one one final showdown. The Moondial series as a whole, has been very enjoyable and I look forward to continuing my way through this authors work.
