In Trump Time: A Journal of America's Plague Year

Rate this book
IN TRUMP TIME, A Journal of America’s Plague Year, tells the story of a President who worked night and day for the American people, who built the strongest economy in modern history, who would deliver a life-saving suite of vaccines to the American people literally at warp speed, but who would ultimately lose the 2020 election.

Peter Navarro is one of only three senior White House officials by President Trump’s side from the 2016 campaign to the end of the president’s first term in office. Always moving In Trump Time as was his signature, Dr. Navarro was the first to sound the alarm within the West Wing about the pandemic. He played a pivotal role in the rapid development of both vaccines and therapeutics like Remdesivir. As Defense Production Act Policy Coordinator, Navarro was at the center of ramping up domestic production of critically needed Personal Protective Equipment and while helping President Trump insure that every American who needed a ventilator had a ventilator.

A compelling, page-turner of a book that tells the story of America 2020 from inside the White House.

He was 30 feet away in his office but you’ll feel like you’re right there in the heat of it.

Peter Navarro has been canceled by almost everyone because of his loyalty to President Trump. He’s got nothing to lose and he’s not protecting lucrative business relationships with China or the infauxtainment industry. “In Trump Time” is his no holds barred accounting of the COVID CRISIS tracing its glaring errors of handling; some seem purposeful from the beginning of his time at the White House during DJT’s first term as President.

In this book, Navarro uses his personal journal to punctuate the conversations, meetings, documents, etc. that support this book. It’s very well written and a riveting read. He begins the book with a bang and calls out Fauci and his lies. They are prominent throughout this book. Of personal interest to me is the information on Hydroxychloroquine. I’ve been taking this medication for 25+ years to treat Lupus and RA but for 6 months of 2020, I could not get it due to “HydroxyHysteria”. Navarro unveils the debacle, at long last. Not that it makes my, and countless others, experiences any better, but hopefully, a situation like this won’t ever jeopardize the lives and health of people again. Somebody needs to put Fauci in jail.

Trump was thwarted from day one by his party, his administration and his family. These folks are laid bare by Navarro also: Kushner, McConnell, Mullaney, Mnuchin, Kudlow, Pence, Barr and “The Generals”. Each one played a role of non-support; some out loud, others insidious but all disloyal and far reaching.

While the pandemic is raging there are other ills happening within the administration that Navarro is tagged to handle. It makes for even better, more compelling reading. If there is a 2024 for DJT, I hope Navarro is given a much more significant role. His ability to persevere as an outcast in those hostile conditions and death of his Mother, well, he’s a true Patriot.

Written with a true sense of duty to the country he loves, “In Trump Time” is Peter Navarro’s unveiling without strings to everyone who wants to know what really happened in the early days of the Pandemic📚

Believe it or not, I learned more from this book on the subject of the Trump administration and the fight against COVID than I did watching the news in the past two years. There are some fascinating and extremely frustrating revelations in this book. I am not a Forever Trumper or a Never Trumper. I look at results and policies and vote. If more voters had known the facts in this book before casting their ballot, I suspect we might not be where we are right now. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The only thing wrong with this book is its title: if Peter Navarro had just named it “America’s Plague Year” perhaps more people would read it. Why? Because those with Trump Derangement Syndrome—the exact people who really NEED to understand the truth of what happened in 2020 as revealed here—won’t touch a book with a title seemingly flattering to 45. This is a shame because not only does the book answer so many questions about a truly horrible year, it is also a riveting read. Mr. Navarro has enough talent as a writer to make even mundane tasks like procuring cotton swabs for the U.S. government seem like a mission worthy of 007. His expertise on China and the CCP is voluminous and most likely prophetic. Particularly entertaining is his equal contempt for the useful idiots in both the Democrat and Republican parties. Get the word out people—this is not only a great read, it is a must read.

Peter takes you on a journey through the virus breakout to the election and Capital debacle and you’re sitting in the front row . I am fearful for our nation with all the corruption in our bloated government , the entitled few that makes the rules for thee but not for me and the enormous red tape of bureaucracy . Something has to give ….I found it fascinating !

For a few moments it was hilarious: look at how entitled these rich people have gotten! For Navarro a hard life means having less softer toilet paper, and hunger means having to survive with supermarket food, because the farmer's market was closed today.

Only it is not funny. Navarro is a leech living off the working people's wages. And when he is going to consider that going to his air-conditioned office is too much of a hassle, the people will still have to support his good life by paying him a generous pension, and most of his healthcare spending.

So Plague? The Plague is the Parasitic class, of which Trump is just one individual. And sadly there are scores of Navarros in every state.

Novaro pulls no punches!

I’ll start with the disclaimer that I am biased. I’ve been following Steve Bannon since 2015 when he was at Breitbart, right through the Trump campaign, to the impeachment podcast, and more recently the Pandemic
podcast.

This book details Dr Peter Novaro’s experiences as one of the members of Trump’s staff that was with him throughout the campaign right up to the final days of his presidency.

Whether you like Trump or not I don’t think anyone can reasonably argue that the liberal media complex — CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post spring to mind — gave him or his staff a fair hearing. Moreover there have been rafts of denigrating and vitriolic anti-Trump books, all heavily promoted by large publishing houses, and when viewed in this context I think Dr Novaro is more than entitled to give his own partisan account of his first hand experiences.

The book gets better towards the end when Novaro examines the lab leak theory and the gain of function experiments. Next he discusses the vaccine rollout, and explains why Fauci and big pharma had a financial incentive to delay the approval of the vaccines. Of particular interest is Dr Novaro’s discussion of the hydroxychlriquine and the reference confirming it is actually safe for pregnant women to use. Of course that wasn’t discussed in the media during the height of the fact free liberal hysteria, rather it was a case of simplistic syllogistic reasoning: Orange man is bad, he recommends hydroxychloriqine, so hydroxychloriqine bad.

Said Novaro about Trump’s opposition: they hate Trump more than they love their country.

Read this book if you want the unvarnished truth.

Here is the blurb on amazon:IN TRUMP TIME, "A Journal of America's Plague Year, tells the story of a President who worked night and day for the American people, who built the strongest economy in modern history, who would deliver a life-saving suite of vaccines to the American people literally at warp speed, but who would ultimately lose the 2020 election."

Well , this is such nonsense. Due to the Orange one's incompetence in dealing with the Corona Virus, the US shed jobs like I shed dandruff. Millions of jobs lost, country nose dived into recession. Trumpy dismissed the virus as a common cold, and inspite of himself and his assholeness, a vaccine was developed. At warp speed, my ass.

Novarro , as a pretty astounding liar, is only equalled in his bullshit , as trump is.

Nauseating that a tree had to die, to publish this . . . It is one big lie after another. . .

This was a great book. Written by an insider of Trump's administration. It gives you detailed accounts of what happened during key issues of the administration. Since the main-stream media is well know for getting absolutely everything wrong from Hillary, Trump, Smollete, Russia, Kavanah, Ukraine and now as of today, Kyle Rittenhouse, it refreshing to hear it from those on the inside. Navarro is no Kushner and many others on the inside, holds nothing back.

If you are a fascist leftist, don't bother reading it. Even with video proof, documentation and/or testifying under oath, you only take your marching orders from the corrupt media. However if you are an opened minded, I hole heartedly recommend this book.

Love him, hate him or love to hate him, Trump eventually will go down in history as one of the greatest President this country has seen. Not the most liked, or the coolest, or the most "presidential" (whatever that means), but from accomplishments that helped the American People, he was the G.O.A.T. Sadly, the hatred for him outweighs the good he did in-spite the attacks by all sides. Our current POTUS, the Former Vice President, would not survive 5 min in Trumps shoes.

Very Informative!
Fauci is despicable. I had a feeling from the very beginning that this man with his grandfatherly face was not being honest. His recommendations were changing too often. He presented no proof, no stats. He caused so much death and destruction to the American people. So many people would be alive today if he hadn't blocked treatments. So many elderly would be alive today if he hadn't condemned them to loneliness and isolation. Under his facade, Fauci is Pure Evil!!!

A fast read with stomach turning responses to Navarro's idolatry to Trump. His lengthy discussion of "Green Bay Sweep" places himself in one of two categories: either stupid and wanting to get caught or just above the law. There is a reason he has issues with law enforcement.

Fun and factional read. Gossipy. Hard hitting. Take no prisoner. Brutally honest. Informative about different therapeutics and how they were repressed.

“… as far back as my 2006 book, ‘The Coming China Wars’, I had foreseen a deadly Chinese virus like this one coming at the United States like a Beijing-to-Shenzhen bullet train flying over the rails.”

This book was eye-opening and informative. Navarro sets the record straight. If you’d like to know the truth about the pandemic, this is worth reading.

Here are some of my favorite quotes. I have so many, but I’m not going to include them all.

He predicted it all the way back in 2006
“My fear is rooted in what will all too soon become an all too prescient prediction. Wrote I in my 2006 book, ‘The Coming China Wars’, China, as ‘the world’s prime breeding ground for new and exotic’ viruses, might well spark ‘a pandemic in which tens of millions of people may die.’ In light of this 2006 prediction, my antenna had gone up on full alert a few days earlier as news began to trickle out from Wuhan, China, of a mysterious virus rampaging through this massive city. Now, as I sit in the East Wing amidst a packed crowd and a broad ring of TV cameras beaming this historic event to the world, and as I scan the eyes of China’s poker-faced diplomats, I can’t help asking myself these questions:
• What do these Communists know about what is going on in Wuhan that we don’t?
• Is there significant human-to-human transmission of this new emerging virus and therefore the possibility of a global pandemic?
• Have any of these Chinese diplomats been exposed to the virus, and if so, are they possibly contagious?
• And if that possibility even remotely exists, why are these disease vectors and possible assassins here breaking bread with us, smiling, and shaking not just the hands of US trade team members like myself, but also the hands of both the American president and vice president? Most darkly, I even wonder if this virus might be some sort of bioweapon explicitly designed to attack an ascendant America now firmly led by the first president in history to challenge the economic aggression of the Chinese Communist Party. Knowing this implacable enemy as I do and knowing there are no rules in the game of world domination they are playing, I cannot not rule this out.”

February 3, 2020 and Republican Globalists
“Donald Trump ran as a Populist Economic Nationalist in 2016, speaking directly to American voters. During the Republican primary, he vanquished every single one of his seventeen Republican opponents. And that November, he prevailed over the presumed Clinton succession. After that victory, President Trump found himself in a difficult position when it came to staffing the White House, the cabinet, and a myriad of federal agencies. Most of the people in the Republican Party most experienced in government were not Trump Populists and Loyalists but rather Traditional Republican Globalists. Far too many of those Globalists found their way into key positions in the Trump administration. When a deadly virus emerged from Communist China, President Trump’s limited personnel options would come home to roost. I got my first glimpse of this problem shortly after 9:00 a.m. on February 3 in the West Wing at our weekly senior staff meeting. There, in the Roosevelt Room, I watched as the director of the National Economic Council, Larry Kudlow, told the assembled throng of twenty or so staffers, ‘This China thing is no worse than the flu. Don’t worry about it. We’ve got it under control.’”

March 19, 2020
“For more than sixty years, hydroxychloroquine has safely treated malaria as well as autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. It’s on the World Health Organization’s Model List of Essential Medicines, and the CDC even labels hydroxychloroquine safe – drumroll please – for nursing mothers and pregnant women.”

“It’s not for nothing that thousands of doctors, nurses, and first responders around the world from the very beginning of the CCP virus pandemic, began using hydroxychloroquine to prevent their own infections as they found themselves cast into hot viral infection zones. Numerous studies have since strongly validated this prophylactic effect.”

“… when your kitchen stove is on fire, you don’t wait until the entire house is in flames to call the fire department; you get your fire extinguisher and put the fire out immediately. For the CCP Virus, hydroxychloroquine is the early-treatment fire extinguisher. At the time of this writing, there have been more than three hundred hydroxychloroquine studies involving more than four thousand scientists around the world and nearly four hundred thousand infected patients. A meta-analysis of those studies indicated a 66 percent overall improvement with the use of hydroxychloroquine compared to matched control groups not receiving the drug. In addition, early-treatment mortality studies estimated an average 75 percent reduction in deaths with the use of hydroxychloroquine, while later-treatment studies showed a 22 percent reduction in the mortality rate. Talk about taking death off the table!”

“… the media and the FDA have made hydroxychloroquine something that appears to be dangerous when it’s a 65-year-old drug that can’t hurt you under doctor supervision.”

“The overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza.” – Anthony Fauci

Five Heinous Acts the Chinese Communist Party committed in the early days of the pandemic
“These Five Heinous Acts virtually ensured that an otherwise containable virus slipped the bounds of Wuhan and metastasized into a global biological Chernobyl.
China’s first heinous act was to hide the possibility of a deadly pandemic from the world for more than sixty days. As early as October 2019, Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party knew that China had a deadly virus on its hands.
Yet China not only hid those dangers, it did so behind the shield of the puppet World Health Organization (WHO). For even as Chinese government officials were dropping a bamboo curtain around Wuhan, WHO’s puppet director, Tedros Adhanom, was repeatedly lavishing praise on Chinese officials for their handling of what the WHO refused to brand as a pandemic until March 11, 2020. In sharp contrast, I had called the pandemic forty-three days earlier in the January 29 travel ban memo. I, a lowly ‘doctor’ of economics, got it right long before the doctors at the World Health Organization.
… yes, due to China’s first heinous act of hiding the virus, the world lost more than precious months not just of preparation to fight the pandemic but of the opportunity to contain the virus.”

“As its second heinous act, the CCP refused to release the genome of the virus to origin trackers and vaccine researchers. That utter lack of transparency significantly delayed any attempts to understand the latest pathogen from China, much less develop a viable vaccine or safe and effective therapeutics.
Moreover, even as China was hiding the genome from the world, it refused to allow international inspectors to investigate either the wet market or the Wuhan lab. Scientists from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention seeking to assess the dangers were even barred from Wuhan.”

“As still a third heinous act, CCP officials orchestrated a thorough cover-up by destroying evidence at the Wuhan wet market. They just scrubbed down—and away—every possible piece of evidence that no doubt would have proven early on that the Wuhan wet market was clearly not the source of the virus. Even worse, even as some Chinese workers were lathering up the Wuhan wet market with soap and bleach, others were wiping computer hard drives and shredding evidence at the Wuhan lab. It wasn’t just critical data that disappeared; many of the laboratory workers and whistleblowers also disappeared—many never to be seen again. Together, the shredded information and the firsthand witnesses would almost certainly have proved that the Wuhan lab was the source of the virus.”

“Heinous Act 4 is the worst: while the Chinese Communist party was hiding the genome and full dangers of the virus from the world and destroying evidence, the Chinese government was locking down the whole country to domestic travel tighter than the zip ties on the wrists of a Uighur prisoner. Yet those same government officials freely allowed hundreds of thousands of Chinese nationals to board gleaming Airbus and Boeing jetliners bound for cities from Milan and New York to Tehran.
As Communist China was hiding the dangers of the virus from the world, the CCP was locking down all of its own citizens to any kind of domestic travel whatsoever with the greatest of urgency. That urgency was driven by the knowledge that CCP officials had with the new Viral Hell otherwise known as Wuhan.
For Heinous Act 4 alone, China should bear the entire blame for the pandemic. SARS-CoV-2 was a virus that could have been contained in Wuhan. It should never have caused a pandemic of covid-19. And it is rightly and righteously called the CCP Virus.”

“Before the pandemic, the world’s ‘factory floor,’ China, was a huge net exporter of PPE. Yet once China knew it had a global pandemic on its hands—and even as it hid that information from the world—Chinese state-owned and state-directed enterprises sallied forth and vacuumed up all the world’s personal protective equipment. I am not just talking about masks, gloves, goggles, gowns, and N95 respirators; China would even corner the
PPE markets for critical peripherals such as thermometers and pulse oximeters. The resultant PPE scarcity condemned tens of thousands of defenseless health care professionals and first responders to an early grave in the early stages of the outbreak. And every time an American, Italian, or Iranian doctor, nurse, or first responder perished because of a lack of adequate PPE, that Death by China’s PPE Hoarding would kill numerous other victims down the chain.
… if this market-cornering behavior weren’t bad enough, the ever-opportunistic and Machiavellian China would compound Heinous Act 5 by putting some of its hoarded PPE back onto the world market at exorbitant prices. At the same time, to advance its geopolitical interests by acting as a ‘good Samaritan’—really, that was too darkly funny, given the circumstances—China would donate PPE to the very same countries it had infected with the virus and deprived of PPE in the first place. And so it was that in northern Italy, delivery trucks festooned with Chinese flags streamed in from airports loaded to the gills with donated Chinese PPE even as they passed hearses filled with the Italian dead who had lost their lives as the result of Chinese hoarding. Irony is as irony does.”

Try to ignore the seemingly large ego of Mr. Navarro, he is well educated and brilliant without a doubt, and see the huge obstacles that Trump and his team had to overcome. Very inspiring book and I can’t wait for a Trump return, America needs it.

Through reading this book one can really tell Navarro loves America and wants it to return to its manufacturing and blue collar roots. I wish the Trump White House listened to him more, as he has proved to be spot on with just about everything regarding Covid. From COVID’s origins in the Wuhan lab to the ability to get a vaccine out before Election Day, and the importance of therapeutics, Navarro spoke the truth. While people like Fauci did all they could to hide the facts. His investigation into the 2020 election shows how the Dems broke state laws to make sure the ballot boxes were stuffed with illegal votes. It’s a damn shame. Best book by a Trump administration official thus far.

A FORMER ASSISTANT TO PRESIDENT TRUMP SUPPORTS ELECTION DENIAL, ETC.

Peter Navarro wrote in the Prologue to this 2021 book, “I can modestly lay claim to a unique vantage point within the White House and often within the Oval Office itself… you can literally count on three fingers the number of senior White House advisors who were with the president for the entire journey---from the winning 2016 campaign all the way to the end… my promise to you is this: I will hold nothing back and speak only the truth as I have seen it, at times as an active participant, at times simply as an observer.” Later, he adds, “I will offer what I believe to be the definitive insider’s account of America’s plague year… you will see that there is much to get to the bottom of---from … January 15, 2020… and January 6, 2021 to what likely went so very, very wrong at Anthony Fauci’s bureaucratic empire and in a Wuhan bioweapons lab.” (Pg. 19-20)

However, in the first chapter, he recounts, “I walked onto the White House grounds on Inauguration Day…[I] found myself unceremoniously stripped of the rank of assistant to the president that I had been promised. That demotion would mean no walk-in privileges to the Oval Office and therefore a de facto isolation from the president. I would also be banned from senior staff meetings… [They] also stripped me of much of the support staff I had recruited… While [they] … knew that the Boss would never tolerate my firing, they thought if they could humiliate me enough, I would simply quit and go back home to California with my tail between my legs… Screw them. Stay the course.’” (Pg. 11)

He asserts about Dr. Fauci, “Dr. Fauci is an eighty-year-old bureaucrat who graduated from medical school in 1966 and went to work for the federal government two years later… We can at least credit Fauci for his longevity. But also consider that he consistently gave the US president and the American public a seemingly unending stream of confusing and contradictory advice about a coronavirus from China that… he himself may well have helped spawn.” (Pg. 21-22)

He notes, “According to the virus deniers, we were overreacting to a disease that was no worse than the flu. Of course, that fantasy quickly ran into the brick-wall reality of a virus that would kill more than six hundred thousand Americans in a little more than a year. In contrast, over the last ten years, annual flu deaths have ranged from … around twelve thousand in the 2011-2012 season to a high of sixty-one thousand in 2017-2018. I’ll take the flu anytime.” (Pg. 37)

He observes, “Here’s what too many high-ranking officials in the Trump administration … never seemed to realize: when bad personnel screwed up, it was POTUS who suffered the consequences.” (Pg. 62)

He argues, “Hydroxy Hysteria is the irrational and unjustifiable fear of taking a medicine that almost certainly won’t hurt you and almost certainly can help save your life if you are ever attacked by the CCP virus… hydroxychloroquine can be an effective therapeutic WHEN USED within the first five to ten days of a CCP infection.” (Pg. 84-85)

He asserts, “I sought to assign [China] its RIGHTFUL blame for a catastrophic pandemic that was killing hundreds of thousands of Americans and millions worldwide while draining trillions of dollars from the US and world economies.” (Pg. 137)

He suggests, “the CCP virus had come from the Wuhan Institute of Virology… what wasn’t obvious at the time was St. Anthony Fauci’s likely role in the paternity of that deadly virus… you will find nothing more ironic in US history than Saint Fauci turning out to be the likely arsonist who started the world’s Wuhan virus fire. Oh, if I had only known then what I know now. I would’ve blown Saint Tony right out of the water at the very start of the pandemic.” (Pg. 139-140) Later, he adds, “If Fauci had simply admitted at the time that the virus might have been designed in a lab to arrack humans… we could have had a much quicker and more accurate read of the enemy … and thereby saved hundreds of thousands of lives with a more targeted response.” (Pg. 151)

He says, “the easiest person for me to see in the entire West Wing was the president himself. All I had to do was call Molly in the Outer Oval for a quick appointment or just drop by and stick my head in the door, and POTUS was always glad to see me.” (Pg. 176)

He contends, “there is absolutely NO question in my mind that Donald Trump won the 2020 election by a significant margin of LAWFUL votes. Yet… bad personnel … pushing soft-on-China policies made the 020 election close enough to steal.” (Pg. 186)

He asserts, “If not for the actions taken by Pfizer, the FDA, Anthony Fauci, the anti-Trump media, and the Biden-Harris campaign, my prediction of a vaccine being delivered to the American people by October or November would have been EXACTLY right… and yes, Donald Trump would have gotten an electoral boost.” (Pg. 191) Later, he adds, “Pfizer not only had the means and the opportunity to delay the vaccine past election day; it also had a huge PROFIT motive.” (Pg. 197) He suggests, “There was no single ‘silver bullet’ the Democrats had shot to kill the Trump campaign. Rather, it was … ‘death by a thousand election irregularities.’” (Pg. 233)

He disparages Trump’s late-time lawyer Sidney Powell: “The problem with Powell’s claims was… her abject refusal to provide even a scintilla of evidence that they were true---much less the infamous ‘Kraken’ that Powell claimed would crack the case wide open… Powell did incalculable harm in the battle against election fraud with her zaniness… she enabled the anti-Trump media to tar us all with her Gone to Crazy Town brush.” (Pg, 236-237)

He summarizes, “the only thing worse than the theft of the 2020 election … has been the abject refusal of key institutions such as our courts… and Congress to fully investigate this matter.” (Pg. 249) Later, he adds, “Michael … Pence will have secured his place in history as the Brutus most responsible for the final betrayal of President Trump and the unceremonious burial of election integrity.” (Pg. 270-271)

He concludes, “I have freely chosen to speak this Big Truth to power: *Truth One: The … 2020 presidential election was stolen. That’s my view based on my ongoing investigation and emerging evidence… *Truth Two: The January 6… violence on Capitol Hill was NOT instigated by President Trump… And by no stretch of the imagination was January 6 was an insurrection. *Truth Three: The pandemic… was almost certainly genetically engineered in a bioweapons lab in Wuhan… using gain-of-function experiments funded in part by Anthony Fauci’s vast Washington, DC, bureaucracy. UNTIL we as a nation fully confront this Big Truth and get to the bottom of what happened… we will not be able to move forward either as a fully functioning democracy or as a proud republic.” (Pg. 274-275)

He reveals, “At this stage in my life, I am at peace with being canceled. I’d rather speak my Big Truth to power on alternative networks such as Newsmax… and One America News Network and on alternative platforms such as Steve Bannon’s ‘War Room’ … I’d rather do that than become a silenced prisoner of the corporate media beholden to my own individual pursuit to money and fame.” (Pg. 279-280)

This book---with its lack of ‘insider’ information---was quite disappointing.

For the duration of the reading, I kept thinking to myself how I would manage someone like Peter Navarro in the office. He butted heads with everyone including Jared Kushner. Every encounter with him seemed intense, and he didn't seem to listen or care for an opinion other than his. At the same time, he was sharp (e.g., Harvard PhD in Economics) and prescient.

It's easy to forget the number of challenges the last administration faced countering a novel virus, and Navarro played a big role in accomplishing some incredible feats during the early days of the pandemic. From implementing a novel travel ban early on to convincing automakers to develop ventilators, Navarro had his hand in every controversial but effective decision.

I really enjoyed his assertion that his greatest experience was not from his time at Harvard or in the White House, but from his time training alongside enlisted military soldiers fixing complex mechanical devices. Becoming adept at fixing almost anything is something I greatly admire and aspire to do.

Navarro was a hot-headed, controversial figure but he put his reputation on the line for the good of the country. His book was a nice journal and look behind the scenes on what went on in the White House from the onset of the pandemic to the election.

Splendid research and Heartfelt Journalism

I really appreciated the many resources you listed and your own personal narration. A window into the workings of the Oval Office and sadly also a microscopic view into the the minds and actions of the many selfish saboteurs that used their positions to trample on the wishes of the greatest President that our Republic has had in recent times
Brutus aka Pence and Moussad puppeteer Kushner were not surprises to me. However Bill Barr was a major disappointment to me early on. His own observation stated during an interview and said with
disdain " I knew what I was getting into when I joined the Trump White House" was a resolute Freudian slip.
Thank you Mr. Navarro for your authentic journalism.

Serious Destructive Points that Dr Peter Navarro Lays Out For America

Everyone should listen with both ears to what Dr Navarro is warning America of the destruction and extinction of not just the American existence but perhaps the extinction of the world as we know it. China has some very nefarious intentions for us in America. Communism is something that even the Chinese people wish they could un-vote for, but like somethings in life it has become one of those things that was easy to get but impossible to get out of. Dr Navarro warns that this is the path we are heading in America.

This was a great read of how a business man got stuff done in government. It also is so very sad about how it goes into detail about how people wanted a sitting President to fail and everything that was done during the presidency. It’s also outrageous to see how our government contributed to the Covid deaths because they took the right to try and hydroxychloroquine off the table as a viable treatment for EARLY USE……. The one negative about this book is his criticism of Sydney Powell. In his research of the stolen election, he came up with the same results as she did. However, he failed to recognize this.

Amazing and eye-opening read!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving us deplorables an inside look at your fight for us. Many times during the DJT presidency I would shake my head and wonder at the strength of a man who would give up a comfortable life to fight a daily battle for "everyman" at such great cost to himself. A lesser man would have thrown his hands up and turned tail. And, thank you for fighting right alongside him. Please never stop proclaiming "the Big Truth to power" Mr. Navarro. I could hardly put the book down. Your style of writing is witty and fast-paced and packs volumes of information in each chapter. Loved it!!!

I received this for free...and it is worth everything I paid for it. I think someone should check on the well-being of the author...it may not be safe to let him wander around without a helmet.

This is an inside look at the fight within the Republican Party between the proponents of offshoring and endless war overseas, and the proponents of domestic manufacturing and of negotiating peace that lasts.

While there is a little about Red vs. Blue tactics, most of it is similar to Hunter S. Thompson’s account of the new and old Democratic Party fighting it out in the 1972 primaries and convention, but among old and new Republicans in Trump’s White House. Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail 1972 is one of my favorite books. In Trump Time is just as fascinating and just as wild.

And unlike Thompson’s account, this is all true.

In Navarro’s defense, and reading between the lines, much of what he says here wasn’t accepted as true when he was writing it. By the time the book went to press the truth of what he’s writing had been established but wasn’t yet accepted outside of the scientific community. Reading it now, three years later just, about everything in it is both established and accepted.

Under cover of being about “the plague year” Navarro paints a picture of a DC culture that’s more about the ins vs. outs than about Democrats vs. Republicans. In that respect Trump’s administration resembled Lincoln’s. Both presidents were part of new movements and so had to rely on ideologically opposed underlings who often were also part of what we would now call the deep state: people who were both ideologically opposed to change and were part of an insular culture that couldn’t see where slavery was leading the country.

There are interesting diversions from other anti-establishment accounts of the plague year. For example, unlike other conservatives Navarro doesn’t buy into Anthony Fauci’s initial claim that COVID is no different from a mild flu. Throughout the writing of the book he’s proud of how the administration—or at least, the part of the administration that wasn’t part of the old GOP—recognized that COVID was likely to be dangerous and, without preparation, deadly. He recounts how they tried to—and mostly managed to—end travel from the source of the virus to slow its spread, and to stockpile and distribute ventilators, masks, therapeutics, and the equipment that would be needed to create a vaccine.

This is what “In Trump Time” refers to: reacting ahead of time or concurrently to get things done sooner and better.

Like Hunter Thompson’s earlier book, this should be required reading for any insurgent politician and their voters.

Economic security is National Security. And if you try to sacrifice economic security on the altar of national security, as Globalists are wont to do, you wind up losing both.

- The function of bureaucrats are held ship steady and make no moves - thus, during turbulent times, bureaucrats have trouble changing course (especially since the very idea of bureaucracy is to not rock the boat, since that's the career of the bureaucrat)

- "Do no harm" is more of a legal term than medical term. It means to do nothing unless something is proven to be helpful over long periods of study. However, during times when data aren't readily available and the alternatives could be life or death (like the pandemic), "do no harm" by design harms people due to inactivity. Thus, on an individual level, it would be far more beneficial to move to a jurisdiction without such bureaucracy during turbulent times

- Human collectively has a memory of a goldfish. Fauci's initial dismissal of the pandemic, masks wearing, travel ban (which since all have become the common sense) was soon forgotten by the public. In fact, Fauci has become a national hero. Always remember that since people have no memory, doubling down during the turbulent time is always ideal since people will forget soon after (and even praise you as a hero)

- Vision is one thing, but execution is everything: you're as strong as your weakest link

I never knew much about the author, although i heard his name often. The book fills in some much needed background on how the COVID crisis was addressed in the White House. That part of the book was wonderful, and i agree that the President was falsely maligned by a media that hated him and did not give him any credit for what he did. I believe that we recovered much more quickly by the actions of that White House.

The part i didnt like was the seeming settling of scores with people he worked with, and his propensity to pat himself on the back. The election chapter was eye-opening. He believed they won and that there was widespread cheating and fraud. He admitted however that they should have been prepared for it and weren't. Whatever one thinks of that, it was shocking to read that they had a plan for the Vice Presicent not to certify the election on Jan 6, and force another delay to scrub the election results again. Thankfully, Vice President Pence did not do that, for which the author calls him a Brutus to his Caesar.
I am glad i read it for the COVID background and to get an inside look at someone who is still totally committed to his cause , right or wrong.

I liked the first part of this book regarding President Trump’s time table in responding to COVID. I also think that the author is spot on with Fauci and his motivation behind his recommendations and opinions. Regarding the last few chapters I wasn’t as impressed. Although I don’t disagree with the author’s conclusions about the 2020 election, I can’t full heartedly agree with them either. I felt that the author could have developed these chapters more. He could have laid out the evidence rather than drawing conclusions and citing to sources that aren’t the most legitimate of sources (citing to a utube video in which someone says something happened is not what I would call clear cut evidence that that really happened ). It just seemed more of the same old same old. Politicians pointing fingers at other politicians and leaving the American public to wonder where they can go to find the truth. As for me I am still reading to find the truth. One thing I want to see however, is fair elections—elections that leave NO room for doubt. The 2020 election was far from that.
