They say he's ice in the flesh...Glory Murray, CEO of Murray Group, is the ‘Dreaded King of Nigerian Finance’. In other, much succinct, words, he's a goddamn ice cold bastard. From his calculating brutality in the boardroom, to his casual dealings with women with no promises of commitment, Glory has earned a hard, cold eyed reputation for himself. It is a reputation that has earned him a lot of enemies, but his biggest enemy turns out to be his own mind....but he's about to meet his match.Falana Davis, a smart renowned psychologist recently recruited by Murray Group, has looked forward to her leave for weeks. However, her relish turns sour when her vacation quickly turns into her being Glory Murray's nurse following a very public scandal that brings his mental health into question — because the man she meets certainly doesn't seem to be mentally unstable. No, he's just an arrogant jerk; notwithstanding the very real, and very explosive spark that flares between them as soon as they meet.Is it worth the burn? But they soon have to put aside their differences, and work together to uncover the truth and mystery of Glory's missing memories, when Glory finds himself delving deeper into the rabbit hole of his own mind to uncover dark secrets that have lurked there for years; secrets that could destroy the life he'd built for himself. Will the uneasy, yet undeniable, attraction between them both be the light of truth for Glory, or will it be the forest fire that razes them both to ashes?

This Could Have Been

A good book. It has a great premise, but this was a long read and short on romance. The author took too long to tell the story thus making this into a long, tedious read. I don’t like saying this, but this was a very boring book.
