Listened to the audiobook. I read the actually book awhile back. This is an in between Madaris book. One of the friends they grew up with Gina was married to Mitch. Mitch was a workaholic and did not put Gina’s needs first so Gina divorced Mitch. Their bedroom skills were great but Mitch just disregarded the cherish part about his wife. After being divorced for some years Mitch returns after getting the help he needed and purchases land once owned by his grandparents, to get his wife back. After proving to Gina that he changed for the better and revealing his troubled childhood and the reason for the workaholic trigger Gina admits she still loves Mitch too and they try to work things out so that there will be nothing but pleasure in their futures. A quick read and a good love story.
This was a good short second-chance romance. Mitch and Gina had been married before and he was determined to win her back. He had to let his guard down and allow her to see who he really was and why he was the way he was. Really enjoyed this book.
