Stealing tickets and going to a resort? That’s something Lola never thought she would do, but now she’s on a plane heading to twin bliss resort.
There, she meets Onahi, another main character in this book and let’s just say sparks start to fly and well clothes too, but onahi and Lola are keeping secrets from each other and well- go get the book to find out!

I really like the connection between lola and onahi. There was an instant attraction from when they first met and it only grew as the book progressed! Omg you guys, there’s spiceeeeeeeee not too much but just enough!

The Author is truly a gifted writer, capturing the readers interest from the first paragraph, leaving you entertained and curious with each line.
ESCAPE to me was so much more than a simple love story, it kept me wondering about what next, guessing the next cliffhanger and wishing it never ends!
It's more than just a story; It allows you be a part of LOLA and Onahi's heartbreak, breakthrough, and LOVE.
I really enjoyed reading it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Margaret sure has a way of weaving words together in her books that leaves the reader spellbound, this book was no exception.
ESCAPE to me was a journey, a really long one cos I had to get into the heads of the characters and they were kinda proving stubborn to permeate. It kept me at the edge of my seat as they were unpredictable for me (in a good way) and that's a plus for the book.
Lola, made some mistakes which she learnt from thankfully and Onahi too didn't let his past overshadow the beauty of his present, at least ,with Lola he had some sense.
I really enjoyed reading and I can't wait for the book to be out.

2.5⭐️ The writing was great but the story lacked a solid plot. Events and things flitted around so much I skimmed most part while wondering what the story was about.
I hope to read a better story from this author next time.

Escape by Margaret Adetimehin 4.5 / 5 ⭐️

This is the 5th book in the Twin Bliss Resort Series and I must commend the authors on the character build up and how they merge 🙌🏽.

Lola the brand guru, needed an escape from her real-life after her “work husband” Roberta engages another lady. So she booked an impromptu trip to the Twin Bliss Resort and finds more than she bargained for.

On the other hand Nahi 😍 is on vacation in the resort which he owns majorly, also trying not to deal with work and he failed love life.

I love the character buildup this particular book has. The author did a great job giving us a deep understanding of the main characters and I love how the book didn’t feel rushed 🥰.

This book got me out of my reading slump 🙌🏽. Big thanks to the author for the ARC of Escape.

Escape is a Twin Bliss novel that tells the story of Lola the "Brand Guru" dealing with rejection from her "work husband" with a not-so-stolen but stolen ticket goes to Twin Bliss Resort to get her mind off things.
The goal was to have fun and enjoy herself as much as possible, she meets Onahi, and things changed.
She's in for a vacation of her life.

I love the world-building, merging the past, and giving us an insight into how things turned out.
Lust, at first sight, grew into love, only Onahi and Lola could pull that off.
Their connection was cute, although they were both trying to form what I don't know.
I saw Lola as the kind of person that will look for trouble, and run. She was kinda cute though.

A beautiful love story from the Twin bliss novels, I absolutely enjoyed reading Lola and Onahi's story.
Captivating from the first page, loves the historical backstory of the Marula fruit, Lola's personality is quite charming.
An awesome read 🥰

No dulling moment. Escape by Margaret Adetimehin is a breath of fresh air.

The book catapults the reader into the complex world of Lola and Onahi and the challenges they passed through in order to get the life they desired.

The author's description of Twin Bliss Resorts is topnotch and makes me think of going for a vacation in such a beautiful place.

I fell in love with the well-developed characters in the novel and kept turning the pages until I reached the end.

I'm not going to give you spoilers but this is a book you need to read.

I look forward to reading other books written by this author.

Always rooting for everyone African and woman but I didn’t care too much for the structure. And I also don’t like when there is too much beef before the love. Be soft

RATING: 3.8/5

An escape to paradise seems like the best option for Lola who just realizes that not only is her crush not into her, but he is whipped about her work nemesis.

Fun and relaxation are on the to-do list, but getting her world rocked by Onahi is definitely not.

Honestly, I enjoyed the book, stayed awake all night reading it and ditched chores to complete it.

It's a nice read and I love how it seamlessly weaves in characters from the other books in the series. I especially loved the 'worldbuilding' and the backstory of Gobota island and the folklore about the marula. It really piqued my interest.

The characters were realistic, but I wasn't endeared to either of the MCs.

My favorite character would be Carolanne. I feel she deserves her own book too.

Not Worth the Read—Even on Kindle Unlimited

I picked up Escape by Camaa Pearl as part of a reading challenge, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations on several fronts. While I don’t require absolute realism in romance—especially when it comes to high-stakes or fantasy-style plots—I do expect a basic level of internal consistency, coherent storytelling, and some attention to detail, particularly regarding anatomy and human biology if it’s not a fantasy monster romance.

One of the most distracting elements of this book is the overwhelming number of grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors. These issues are present throughout and significantly detract from the reading experience. Most of these mistakes could have been caught with a simple grammar check or by reading the manuscript aloud. It's difficult to stay immersed in a story when the writing quality feels rushed and unpolished.

In addition to the technical flaws, there are numerous factual inaccuracies—particularly regarding basic anatomy and biological functions—that pulled me out of the story. While I understand creative liberty, especially in steamy scenes, the errors here were so extreme that I found myself questioning the author’s familiarity with her own subject matter. These inaccuracies undermined the believability and effectiveness of the romantic and sensual moments, which are typically a highlight in this genre.

Structurally, the book felt disjointed and underdeveloped. The narrative jumped from scene to scene with little continuity, and character motivations often felt confusing or unearned. The decision to include what is essentially the beginning of the story at the very end also didn’t enhance the narrative. Instead of serving as a clever twist, it made the plot feel even more fragmented and left me wondering if the story had simply been rearranged without much thought to pacing or cohesion. That section may have been better omitted entirely in favor of further character or plot development.

Had this not been a part of a challenge, I likely would have set it aside after the first chapter. I’m glad I didn’t have to purchase it outright, as I read it through Kindle Unlimited, but I can’t say I found it worth the listed price.

There’s potential in the premise, but the execution—both in writing mechanics and storytelling—needs significant refinement. A thorough edit and a more thoughtful approach to structure and character development would make a huge difference.

Lola reminded me of someone real. I liked the realism of the book. Lola got into some scrapes people get into, but might be ashamed to own up to with the friends.
.
The guy Onahi was cute.

I enjoyed reading this book, it was a good escape 🙂 for me.

Looking forward to reading more from this author.

When I first started I got a little confused about who was who and what was what, but once I got it, it kept me entertained. Not wanting to take a break. I enjoyed it.
