Mazak is a cyborg mercenary set to turn in one last bounty for his debt to a deadly trade lord to be paid. He is furious to learn he first must complete one last job—to deliver a human female to a dangerous space station to complete an illicit transaction. The clock is ticking, however, and the female lights a fire in Mazak’s synthetic hearts like no other.
Cora Fleming curses every choice she made that landed her at the mercy of an alien trade lord. So much for a harmless adventure after a sheltered life. Now she’s in the hands of a gorgeous cyborg who holds his feelings close and his secrets closer. They are in a race against time to get this done and win both their freedom, but learning what the transaction will pay for changes everything…as does their deepening bond.
Mazak’s choice is not easy: try to stop the destruction of an innocent species at the risk of losing those he cares about, or remain a mercenary to save Cora’s life, but lose her love.
This is book six of the Stryxian Alien Warrior series but can be read alone with no cliffhangers and no cheating. I write what I love to read, so there is always consent and always a happy ending.
The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 🖤💙❤️💚 Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙 World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍🌏 Character development: 🙂🥰☺️😂 Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙 Narration type: Dual Narration
The Hero:Marzak - he is a Stryxian cyborg. He helped kill the Vanyi overlord Sleer and take down his network of mercenaries. Though he is also a mercenary. He has been working for Agar, a crime boss that runs a dangerous space outpost. Agar has been holding Marzak’s sister in stasis, who had been undergoing a change to cyborg when the war with the Mortt’a ended. He just finished his last job for Agar and was going to get his sister back and a large payment so he could finish her transition.
The heroine:Cora - she was a human woman, who formerly was in service to the UEA (United Earth Alliance). She had been in the lottery for women to travel to Stryxia to try to find mates, though she never found one. She met a Stryxian called Bartok who was a merchant who traveled the galaxy, and they got along well so she decided to travel with him for adventure. Though when they were on a dangerous space outpost, Bartok was killed, and she was taken by the squid-like leader Agar.
The Story: Agar didn’t want to let his best mercenary go, so he kept Marzak’s sister and forced him to do one more job for him. He had to take a message to another very dangerous outpost and deliver it to a merchant there. It turns out that the message was inside Cora, and would dissolve in 4 days, so they had to make it to the outpost and have the message on her arm decoded before it dissolved in her blood. If he was able to do that, Agar would unfreeze Marzak’s accounts, and give him his sister.
This book was another from this series that was different than all the rest. I liked the fact that Marzak was a cyborg, and he thought that no human female would want him since cyborgs were looked down on in Stryxian society. These two were good together and they started bonding before they got to the station. There was plenty of action and adventure including the fact that they couldn’t let Agar get what he wanted from the Merchant whom he sent the message to, and there was plenty of risk because Cora was a human and every other alien species seemed to want human females for one thing or another.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Elle Sonali and Zachary Johnson. Zachary has a nice deep voice which matches Marzak well. He has a good tempo for an alien, a bit stiff and formal, which is what I think an alien male would sound like. Elle Sonali has a nice voice and sounds very natural. You can’t tell she is reading.
Stryxian Alien Warrior Series. Like most alien novels, there was a galactic war. And like most alien romance novels, it involves human women for brides. The Morr-tas attacked Earth. The Stryxians came to our aide under the condition that once the war was over, Earth provided females for Stryxian males. They were having some issue with only producing male offspring and it was jeopardizing the future of their race. Earth was running a little short on men due to sending them all as soldiers to fight the battle. This series takes place at the point where the Morr-ta war was won, and it is time to pay up (by the means of women). All unattached women of child bearing age were entered into a lottery. Once picked, they were shipped to a settlement where they would choose their alien to mate with. Around book 5, however, the lottery system was abolished, and turned to a strictly voluntary deal. With the lack of human men, they were able to complete the agreement with volunteers alone. The Stryxians were gorgeous masculine beings. They stood at 7 feet tall, covered in muscles and gray skin with scales, sharp facial features, thick leathery wings arced from their backs, with black eyes that only changed colors when they were mated. They all basically looked like Greek Gods, but better.
Seduced by the Stryxian is book 6 (and final) in this series, and follows Mazak and Cora in a first person perspective. Cora Fleming is a girl from Earth that escaped the confines of a cult and volunteered to travel to Stryxia to find a mate. Instead of a mate, she found a Stryxian merchant named Bartok who promises her adventure as they traveled the universe. Well, he didn’t fail on his promise, because he was murdered on a trading post, and his ship and property (including the human female) were now owned by a giant man squid. She was placed in skimpy clothing and ordered to dance half naked for the mercenary customers. Mazak Likra is a Stryxian cyborg that was in debt to that same alien squid, who held his twin sister hostage in stasis. We met him a couple times in past books; boom 4 as the cyborg merchant who helped Gwen and Xarik take down Sleer and his attempt to regain control (Mazak hated Sleer for turning his twin sister over to the squid to begin with); and again in book 5, when he helped save Kiera and Arus from the spirit creature he captured (and Ares placed himself in debt to Mazak for the help). We continue this book by Mazak returning that spirit being to the squid as his “final” bounty to retrieve his sister, but of course, the squid changed the terms for one final mission. The squid tattooed a barcode onto the human female’s skin and instructed Mazak to deliver the message to another mercenary outpost. Along the journey, the two bond and fall in love. Lots of sh*t happens, Mazak almost dies, Cora calls Riag and Axika for help, Arus, Kando and Xarik come to the rescue. Everyone is saved, including his twin sister, and they presumably live happily ever after on Trakia.
Their love-making was passionate, as displayed in prior books. Mazak is a capable male figure who knows what he wants and chases it, which is exactly how I prefer my romance novels. Cora is a traumatized individual who’s been through so much sh*t in her short life that she should be in a mental ward. But instead, she somehow manages to find a personal connection to another traumatized individual. Unfortunately, the romance has become mundane and repetitive; almost boring now that I’ve completed the series. Same story, different couple.
I think I’ve just become jaded with the whole alien romance genre, so I’m probably being tougher on this author than necessary. Finding a “good romance” these days is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I heavily suggest readers establish their own opinions, as I do still recommend this read. Onto the next adventure…

The sixth and final book of the series. She came from Earth to leave the life of a cult. She sought excitement and adventure. But she will find danger and so much more. Cora is a brave young woman and is about to learn the hard way that space is not safe. Mazak is a Stryxian and a cyborg. He is used to war and then being a mercenary. He will do anything to achieve his goal but one human female may just bring it all to an end. Lots of action and adventure. The romance builds and is can be very sweet at times.
I quite liked this series. It’s basically your typical alien romance where the alien species is suffering from something and their females are basically nonexistent at this point. And so, comes the human females who are compatible with our alien species.
Even so, I felt that something was missing. I understand that this type of alien romance are usually insta lust/love and I love that! That’s why I read them. Because I love seeing how they are mates and how the bond developed and everything. That’s what I felt was missing from this series. I understand that the stryxians had their mala and that it would make their eyes itch when they recognized their mate.
In this series, that was barely emphasized. I could not understand how the stryxians knew that these human females were their mates. It wasn’t quite love at first sight, they felt it in their malas, but at the same time we didn’t know what they were feeling.
Ugh, idk if I’m even making sense right now. Either way, I still liked this series and it helped me get out of my reading slump. Kudos to that.
Seduced by the Stryxian is the 6th and final book in the Stryxian Alien Warriors series. This is an off planet alien and human romance. I have really enjoyed this series quite a bit. This was actually my least favorite book in the series and the only one that I am rating as less than 4 stars. I didn't really connect with the characters in this book and wasn't overly hooked on the story and what was happening. It was good and entertaining, but it didn't captivate me like the others did. I also found that the male narrator didn't do it for me. The female narrator was great, but I had a hard time focusing on the male narrator and processing what he was saying. It was likely just a me thing, but I did have to back his parts up several times to catch what he was saying. Overall, I give this book 3.25-3.5 stars. I definitely recommend this series to anyone who likes alien romances.
Mazak is a cyborg amd mercenary believing himself more machine than Stryxian. Cora escaped a human cult and reached the stars. Unfortunately her journey left her stuck on a harsh trading planet as a prisoner. Mazak's mercenary tendencies are driven by deeply personal reasons. Yet when he lays eyes on Cora, the male in him responds. Forced to use Cora to reach his ultimate goal, he vows to protect her. Cora is aroused not scared of the cyborg. He may not believe he still has his mala but his hearts beat for her and they give in to their passion. Mazak and Cora will need the help of many different races to not only succeed but survive. At last the Stryxians repair and resettle their planet with their human mates and other human settlees.
This series was alright. Not the best but not bad. If you are looking for a quick and easy read then this is the series for you.
I just wish they would have tried or Got a group together to try to help rescue all the slaves and trafficking. She said there were other females that were forced to work for him. But the author only saved the main character. Then they blew up the planet.
Like I get the story isn't based on rescuing others but it could have been mention that someone was trying to help them. Like the hip humans were saved but the rest we will just let suffer.
To the book and series. Loved the way the author wrote this human woman different from the others. Each of human women were different and had various backgrounds and strength and weakness. Did think the sister may have gotten her own story. But that is fine. Though how about a few years write one of hybrids. With some new couples living, working on earth, and more humans on other planets.
I just got through with the 6th book in the series and it's a great series. Each book has a fast pace that is easy to follow and it's easy to get lost in as each couple has things to overcome. This series has Alot of action and hot steamy romance. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who is needing a escape. So far I have read two series from this author and she does not disappoint. Happy Reading💚💖
I just wish some spinoffs were created because there were a couple of paths that could have been taken.
Doing Mazak’s story as the finale was a good choice. He has been floating art a few stories, and needed his told.
Cora arrives in a wave of females much later than first women that had real hard times. This makes her reckless and she gets herself into hard times. But she is a nice fit for Mazak.
This was such an amazingly epic ending to a strong series. Well paced, well written, amazing character progression and interesting characters. Suspense was thick, action was plentiful and the spice was top notch. Add in the humor, banter and reoccurring characters and it ends up being an amazing read. I really enjoyed this series. Ella does such a great job with her alien romances in every aspect. Loved it.
Seduced By the Stryxian is the last book in this series. I loved it as much as I did all the other 5. I am sad to see it finished, however what a finish it is. No spoilers here but advice to read them all. Each has a different story and I can honestly say that this couple don't disappoint.
I laughed and cried through every book... The Stryxian males and human women couples' were all so different...but the underlying love stories and journeys ultimately were ones of life changing growth, overcoming adversity, and love. I would definitely recommend this series and I am sure that I will read them again many times.
I know that reviews should be left for individual books but I read all 6 one after the other. The stories are well written and are very much a serial as the characters end one book before finding thier story unfold in the next. The tale of Beauty and the Beast resides in two of the books, including this one, whilst the others unfold a love story that is compelling.
I have just finished the last story in this series. I really like this author and look forward to reading more from her. If you like sci-fi fantasy and badness heroes and their fiesty female, please🙏 read this series. 💫
This series concluded with Mazak and Cora. Mazak spent a good portion of his life as a cyborg mercenary. Then he met Cora and his life changed. But then so did hers. Wonderful read.
Cora had such an interesting life before her friend was murdered and she became enslaved by a really nasty fishbowel tyrant. Then the whole outright arm that she got kind of tattooed on and sent with a cyborg as the message.
I absolutely loved this book. Mazak is pretty damn cool cyborg and Cora is a complete sweetheart! I loved the adventure and danger in this book! The ending was always AMAZING it made me tear up it was so good! Sad to see this series end.
Virtually from the frying pan into the fire, Cora and Mazak can’t seem to get a break. Will these scary adventures and close calls prevent them from bonding? Will Mazak be able to rescue his twin sister? Enjoy!
Loved the series, and how they transition from one book to another. The ending was a great wrap up, couldn't be better. If you enjoy romance, suspense, strong independent females, and some alien species on the side you'll enjoy the Stryxian warriors.
This series holds all i love, romance, action, adventure, suspense, scifi... And more. It holds my attention 100%. Its been hard to put down and the stories flow well between all the books. Can't wait to read more from this author.
This is the final book in the series and it did not disappoint. It was so full of adventure. I want more of the world of Stryxia. The characters and the places the venture are amazing. The length of the book is perfect. A perfect balance of the romance and adventure.
Alien abductions, Warlords, Mercenaries, Kings and space adventures. Sexy winged aliens, what’s not to Love ? 🙌🙌🙌❤️Absolutely Fantastic! Riveting , Enjoyable.
So sad that this series has ended. I was hoping there would be a segue to a new series, like maybe the Rixolians, but I guess not. Sti!I a good story, with worthy.
