Was very curious reading throughout .Well written and the best part was the action steps needed to be taken at the end of each chapter . Go read and reflect . Lots to be taken from this series .
This books makes you pause and think for what we are doing in our day to day lives. Some key points discussed in the book which can definitely magnify our daily time utilization and give one more focus to be more efficient and better. Recommended to read
Un excelente resumen, muy bien escrito, con garra ideológica y literaria. Apta para motivar a poner acción y cambiar de rumbo positivamente. Muy recomendable.
An engaging book telling you the importance of your own time, Ironical but required as we don't value our time, we procrastinate important and meaningful activities and spend our time on meaningless but enjoyable task, The writer designed the framework of this book in a very nice way,
At first he tells you the value of time, then consequences of wasting your time and benefits of utilizing it wisely then techniques to stop procrastination and using your time effectively and how to store it for future. last but not least it tells you the extraordinary results you can achieve by mastering Time through mastering the power of Focus.
Enjoyed reading this book and will surely try to implement the techniques taught in this book in my daily routine.
It's a simple book which talks about time management. The language is easy. And advices are easy to follow. In the world full of distractions this one helps you focus on things that matter. Wish to implement these suggestions and improve my time management.🤞
Thibaut does another fine job of summarizing how to effectively use my time. He offers simple, straightforward suggestions that he himself uses. All i have to do is follow the inststructions.
Very good book. Summed up a lot of what I already know:
Work towards a vision and visualize every morning and night.
Don't touch your phone first thing in the morning.
Overcome these things with NLP (NLP wasn't mentioned in the book) * Overcome obstacles * Build urgency * Boost your confidence * Increase motivation * Overcome fear (just do it)
Use the first few hours of the day to work on MITs / big rocks / tactics
Morning and night routines
12 week year goals (milestones)
Eliminate friction from doing routines and working. (i.e. Running shoes next to bed)
Timeblock your week using a model week
Visualize any potential obstacles. Walk across time and see yourself overcoming any potential obstacles.
Avoid time wasting apps by extrapolating it across time. 2600 hours of the crappy soccer game in 3 years is 9000 hours in 10 years! It takes 10,000 hours to master something. I don't want to master a crappy video game.
Accountability partners (Stickk)
Time tracking apps to measure time usage
Batch like tasks together. Task switching causes fatigue, not so much doing the tasks themselves.
I always look for new releases from this author, because I always find some pearls to work on and recenter myself on my goals.
I’ve already used a couple of them to reestablish my routines and improve my productivity. I even got the author’s response to a question about one of the courses he mentioned, as well as a book he recommended that he’s reading now by Robert Greene—so now I have something else to study till the next book Thibaut releases!
“Master Your Time is a great book that provides practical tips to beat procrastination and move forward with your goals.
The author, Thibaut, has done a great job of breaking down the seven criteria that will ensure you use your time meaningfully both at work and in your personal life.
The book is easy to read and understand, with practical exercises that you can apply immediately. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to make the most of their time.
The book has a lot of precious ideas about how you can orchestrate your daily progress, how you can manage to have a rigid focus when you are into something. However, the book would have been more effective if it had been enriched with more research results and included the results of different methods on productivity.
Time is the one thing we can’t get back. Reading this book inspired me to finally start those acoustic guitar lessons I’ve been putting off. Great substitute for scrolling timelines and binge watching tv shows.
Good read and practical content.. Highly recommend
The book is very informative and very practical. There is alot of content to process and apply; which at times became overwhelming for me. But overall, a good book..
This book tries to give you some advise on what should you focus on when trying to complete a task. They are not bullet proof, but relatively effective.
Common Sense Ways to Take Control or Your Life and Your Time
This is a great book. It makes it very clear on how to take control of your time and ur life. Time is life. It’s an easy read too. The key to this is to do it. Execution is the next step.
Master Your Time is one of Thibaut Meurisse's better books that I have read. Many things he taught in the book are common sense but he makes you look at them again with a different perspective.
This will be a book that I read on occasion, because there is so much to learn in it.
I liked everything about it, this book surprised me. The suggestions and work questions are so on point! I had to also buy the hard copy as a reference to re-read and make notes
We appreciate the guidance you provide us through all every chapter, especially the various examples you shared to help us optimize and make the most of our time.
