I Enjoyed the development of Kamil & Kenyon’s relationship….I’m always here for a good friends to lovers story. I also love how everyone knew except the two of them and they had the support of their blossoming relationship from their family members and friends.
The second read was the audiobook with Eboni Flowers & Winston James narrating…great combination
Kenny and Killa Kam came with the drama just like I knew they would. Kamil's feelings were hurt when she found out about Kenny and that back stabbin' tramp Chineeka. And, rightfully so. Kam considered her a friend so, she really felt betrayed by her. While I want to go ham on Kenny, it honestly wasn't his fault. That heffa managed to catch him while he was drunk and he had no idea Chineeka's trash azz was even friends with Kam. Once she stopped being angry with Kenny and actually listened to him, Kam was able to move past her anger. When Kenny realized he almost lost his chance with Kam before it even started, both of them decided to stop playing around and finally confessed their love to each other. I'm a sucker for a friend's to lovers romance and Thirst did not disappoint at all. Kam and Kenny brought the romance, sexiness, and heat. I sure hope there's another Brooks Brother book in our future.
Kenny and Killa Kam for the win! I loved this and the main reason was although they had some drama and hurt it didn’t linger too long. They got it together and didn’t waste any more time because they had wasted enough. I think Kenny is my favorite because there are so many layers to him and he is silly as hell. Btw that photo shoot 🔥🔥🔥 This book was fast paced, sexy, quick witted and gave me everything. Loved it.
It is ironic, I downloaded this book and started reading, but quickly realize it has to be another book. I went back and found the first Brooks brother book, "Hunger." I have read them both and now I want more of the Brooks brothers.
Unlike Tyson and Tori, Kenny and Kamil's story started with drama. They came with all the smoke. It was noticeable when the game night became explosive. Their feelings were strong and very apparent. They finally realized it after they both told their truth. It was glad when the love started to blossom between the two of them. Those pictures that Kenny took of Kamil was sexy to the tenth power. I think they enjoyed the shoot more than the pictures.
This is another magnificent read by Ms. Falls. It shows how two people can be so strongly in love with each other without recognition. You should indulge in this book, you will fall in love with the Brooks brothers and their roles in each other life. It is a great secure brotherly bond. Ms. Falls feel free to give us another book, including the brothers' weddings and family expansion.
3.5 ⭐️! This was cool fun read and the audio was great!! I definitely the erotic elements mixed in with second chance (sort of) situation Kam and Kenny had! I really didn’t want him to win until after he showed us what he was working with lol and what his true issues were. Overall a cool read! This book is also just from the hero’s perspective which was interesting and different for me.
This story picks up exactly where Hunger left off and is also entirely from the male perspective. Kamil (Killa) Rodriguez is pissed because Kenyon Brooks is up to his usual f-boy antics, but this time he’s gone too far screwing one of her friends. Kenny didn’t know his latest jump off and Killa were friends until too late and now he is trying mend their friendship and take it to the next level, if he can.
I wanted to love this story because it has so much potential. I wanted to throw my iPad against the wall because I was so frustrated reading it. Right off the bat if you are sensitive about editing this novella is not for you, the lack of editing is distracting (to put it mildly). I’m giving this three stars, if you are a Nicole Falls fan you will enjoy it. If you have never read her work, this is not a good place to start.
This second installment of the Brooks Brothers series seamlessly picked up where the first book left off. Kenny didn’t give me book bae vibes like Tyson, but I enjoyed reading about him. Watching him evolve from a complete knucklehead to a solid guy was nice. Kamil’s love and support for Kenny was so sweet. One of my favorite things about this book was the bond that was formed between Kamil and Troian. This book got as hot and steamy as the first one, but the overall romance was there too. I loved the happily ever after vibes.
Nicole NEVER disappoints. As the follow up to Hunger, we pick up right where we left off and Killa Kam and Kenyon are NOT in a good place. Thankfully, the two realize and see each other for what everyone around them has seen for the past almost 20 years and get their shit together. It wasn't an easy realization, but the conclusion is what we all wanted. Nicole hits hard as always with the lines, the steam, the musical references, and just making you want to keep reading even when there's nothing left.💖💖💋💋
Buckle up this started loud, messy, and emotionally charged from page one and I loved every second of it. Kenny already had a strike against him thanks to what went down in Tyson’s story so there was no easing into redemption. It was all gas, no brakes, and Kam was not playing about her heart. She wasn’t fake done either she was done done, the kind that makes you sit up and worry if the door is really closed.
Watching Kenyon realize he might’ve lost her for real was deliciously stressful. The phone calls unanswered. The door stays shut. The desperation creeping in. So maybe he crossed a line forcing that conversation but what he did right was finally saying everything he’d been holding back. No games. No smooth talk. Just truth, vulnerability and ownership of his feelings.
Kam’s hesitation made sense. Loving someone for a long time will make you cautious when the timing finally shift. Especially when you know the man has community dick. Kenny poured his heart out but hope feels dangerous when you know his history. She didn’t reject him; she just needed a moment to breathe and catch up to the reality that now was finally their time. When she pulled up on his dramatic ass and said what was needed to be said. That moment sealed it Kenny was showing all 32 teeth.
Once they locked in, it was solid. Real. Grounded. The kind of relationship that feels earned instead of rushed.
Nicole Falls is doing her thing with this series. The banter, the emotional pacing, the brotherhood all of it feels natural and lived in. If Hunger made me smile, Thirst had me grinning and nodding like, yeah… this is exactly how it was supposed to happen.

It took a minute to get into this story. I only had a slight connection with the story, as the chemistry was off for me. Nice cover and storytelling. I caught the Tori McNabb shout out in the story. A fun read.
Meh. Second book in the Brooks Brothers series. Story of Kenyon and Kamil. Just ok. Nothing special or memorable about the story. Friends secretly pinning for each other then events force one of their hands. They get together. The end.
Such a good read, picked up where Hunger left off. Kam and Kenny were obviously going to get together, loved their dynamic chemistry. Those Brooks brothers…..
I didn’t think my man Kenyon had it in him after witnessing him in action while reading Hunger, but he came through and I along with Kamil enjoyed the ride. Nicole Falls did her thing on this one she had so many readers invested after the ending of book one that we couldn’t wait to see the foolery unfold. Kenyon definitely had his work cut out for him when it came to getting his woman. I appreciated that Kamil made him work for it but not too long because the situation was already a little sketchy in my eyes. I can say that groveling seems to humble a man and the outcome was wonderful 😆. The dialogue, emotion, flow, and descriptive words in this book made every scene so much better and I felt every blow this couple took like I was in the room. Nicole Falls is always a one-click for me because she gives me relatable characters in every book.
