La serie cuenta la historia de los vampiros hermanos Bancroft encontrando a sus consortes destinadas. Esta vez es el turno de Braeden que conoce a Callie pero ella no es humana, es una caminante diurna como él y ella no está lista aún para sentar cabeza.

Esta es una lectura súper fácil de leer y entretenida con muchos momentos calientes y algunos desafíos para los protagonistas como pareja.

Braeden tenía esa onda posesiva y alfa exagerado que me gusta y espero en los libros de F.D. Me gustó lo comprensivo y paciente que fue con Callie. Por otro lado, no podía soportar a Callie. Comprendí que quería lograr sus metas personales antes de establecerse con su destinado pero no creía necesario darle largas a Braeden, además él la entendió completamente.

El libro estuvo bien, lo disfruté en su mayor parte pero no me gustó tanto como otros de la serie.

I needed a quick little story tonight and I’ve had this one on my TBR for ages. It is the last novella in the series and I couldn’t really remember the other ones, but it didn’t keep me from enjoying this one. It kind of works as a standalone. This has some instalove (fated mates), a possessive H, an independent h, some scorching steam and sweet romance. A great way to spend an hour or so ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Breaden & Callie have a unique story because they're both daywalkers. It brings different challenges, as Callie doesn't dream of the "normal" daywalker things from her consort. And when she meets (& touches) Braeden quite a bit earlier than she's ready for, she discovers the reason Fate picks the matches They do.

Intrigued? I enjoyed this story a lot, a lot! As I do all of the Fiona books, but this is another top of the list fave! Sweet & steamy & fun & that ending!! 😉

That was another awesome story in this series 😍😍😍 Callidora is this teenage daywalker that was cuddled and bubble wrapped as an only child. But all she wants to is fight nightwalkers. She finally gets to train for a few years. Now she is 18 and at a party she finally found her fated consort. Braeden waited for 500+ years for his woman 😍😍 Now nothing can stop him from claiming his woman... and making her happy 😉 Sweet, romantic, with action, fun to read, totally save(fated mates--> DV❤❤❤) and with a great HEA. 😍😍😍 Can't wait for Rens story👍👍👍

The MFC, Callidora Yellen, explains how her parents were so over protective of her the first 16 years of her life that she basically felt like her life was covered in bubble wrap to shield her from everything.

As daywalker, normally they train from a young age and learn how to fight against nightwalkers. Callie asks her best friend, Sheridan, if someone in her family could help train her. She wants to become a badass daywalker before being claimed by her consort.

Sheridan's dad enlists the help of her second cousin,Ren. He trains her for two years.

Braeden Bancroft is Rens older brother, he is 543 years old, they don't age so nobody should ever know. He's waited over five centuries to meet his consort.

Callie and Sheridan are at a party one night when Braeden stops by. Callie & Braeden's fingers touch when picking up a glass. They instantly know that this is their consort.

Even though Callie knows that he is her consort, she is not ready to be claimed (having him bite her neck & suck out her blood). She had plans she wanted to fulfill in her life before being claimed. Will he understand? Can he be patient enough with her?

This was a deliciously short read. I devoured in one sitting. It's 8 chapters. Quick read.


So, since this is my first vampire short story, did I enjoy it? Yes, every single page

Would I read another fictional story or book after this? Yes, definitely

Did I enjoy the SMUT in this book so much that I cannot wait to read another story/book from this author? Absolutely

I was drawn in from the very first chapter. Never in my wildest dreams would I imagine loving this genre so much. But here we are! This short story just unlocked a new world I can't wait to explore!

This is my favorite of the vampire series. I loved Braeden’s unwavering support of Callie’s dreams. He fights all his instincts and vampire magic to not claim her right away so she can pursue her dreams.
Braeden is a 500+year old daywalker who finds his consort a daywalker, Callidora at a birthday party. Callie who has recently turned 18, has been coddled by her parents her whole life, they have let her learn the most basic of self defense against nightwalkers. She wants to be a hunter who kills nightwalkers, she gets a teacher to teach her fighting skills. Braeden tells her he will take over her training. To share a part of himself he takes her to the council where she meets new consorts and finds out how the council tries to help match daywalkers and consorts. Seeing all of the consorts and knowing if one of them is lost a daywalker is doomed to spend his or her life alone makes her realize she wants to be claimed by Braeden and not wait. Their claiming is steamy with I love yous and their mind link being established. She gets to use her new skills when they save a consort from a nightwalker queen and her nest of vampires. They save the consort and take him to the council and head off to save another consort. Callie decides that while she loves the fighting and is very good at it she wants to work in the lab helping daywalkers and consorts meet. Cute epilogue five years later with two kids and the family going trick or treating with the kids dressed as vampires. Ren joins them and finds his consort…a witch! Can’t wait for his story.

Callidora was a young female daywalker of 16 when she began her instruction in defense against the nightwalkers who killed humans and daywalkers her parents didn't think she needed to be trained more than they had given her because she would be protected they told her to basically run if you see one but her best friend Sheridan whose parents made sure her training started when she was a child ask her father to help he chose Ren who was one of the best to train Callie. They were celebrating Sheridan's 18th birthday when Callie met her mate because she had just celebrated her own 18th birthday not long before Sheridan. Braedan Sheridan's cousin was watching out for them during the party and as soon as he touched Callie's hand everything changed for them both. Braden only wanted his mate and he was not interested in much else but he did promise her that he would not mate her until she was ready but he took her breath away. The storyline and characters were interesting, I read an ARC via BookFunnel without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.

So, when she finds her destined mate shortly after her 18th birthday, she is not as happy as she should be. After all, her mate is going to be overbearing and protective just like her parents. Or is he? Maybe fate really does know what it is doing.

Braeden Bancroft has been searching for his destined mate for hundreds of years. Of course, he did not think that he would meet her while he was “babysitting” his cousin’s birthday party. But Calli knocks him off his feet. And is probably going to continue doing so for a long, long time.

I love how Braeden is with Calli. They really are perfect together and can I just point out the first morning scene? OMG…why is a man loosing his mind over his woman such an attractive trait?! Yet again, though, Fiona Davenport pulls through and gives us an OTT alpha who also melts for his woman. *Sigh*

THE WRITING TONE JUST ABSOLUTELY TURNED ME OFF. I have no doubt the story is sweet but, the author wrote this with an opening and that stank of red flags in reality. The way the lead characters met was like a butchered dance scene...couldn't the author have made it more sensually romantic? The male lead just jumped on the heroine like a piece of meat. IT WAS UNFLATTERING, and the way he tried to placate her by calling her baby, just made him sound like a douchebag.

Wasn't this supposed to be based in historical times? It definitely didn't strike me as contemporary romance, so the writing tone was absolutely terrible.

What totally turned me off? The male lead's supposed to be 500+ years old...you would think he would sound like a mature adult but no, he sounded like a freaking frat boy, I just dropped this entire thing like a hot potato.

How disappointing because I think the entire plot seemed pretty interesting.

I love this series as they are great quick reads but full of character development, heat & a quick plot. This series also has a great twist on the fated mates where both individuals come in as virgins, not just the traditional female.

This story revolves around another Bancroft men, but this story has a nice twist where the fated mate is born a daywalker, rather then the human consorts of past books. This also means that the angst in this book is more of an internal struggle between the couple rather then outside forces.

Callie just review you turned 18, the age that you can find your fated mate, but she does not want to be tied down yet. She has her own goals she wants to achieve before settling down and she cannot see how her mate would allow her to continue with her plans. Braeden has been looking. For his consort for over 500 years & he never expected to find her the way he did.

This is a great faced paced, heat filled story that is great for any vampire romance lover.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Before daybreak is the sixth book in the ‘’love bitten’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Callidora has been overprotected and sheltered all of her life. In order to fullfill her dream as a vampire slayer, she needs to learn to fight. When Braeden finds out Callidora is his consort will she give love a chance? How will he react to his brother training her.
The chemistry between Callidora and Braeden is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

Braeden has been waiting for his destined consort for over 500 years and when they finally meet he couldn't have found someone so perfect all by himself. Callidora is everything he could ask in a partner and more.
On the other hand, Callidora is happy to have found her mate just a few weeks after her 18th birthday but now she is scared if finding her consort would mean sacrificing her dreams.
Braeden wants to offer her the world (just like every single Bancroft). It was a fun to read them fall in love and for Callie to come to terms that she could have best of both worlds.
Can't wait to read more of other Bancroft's. And also looking forward to the twins story (Odessa and Olivander)😁.

Another great read from this fantastic series. Callie's worst nightmare has come true. She found her fated mate. She has dreams of becoming a vampire slayer and has been training for 2 years behind her overprotective parents to accomplish that. To now have an overprotective and jealous mate that will want her at home having babies, destroyed all her dreams. It's now up to Braeden to show his mate, that being mated doesn't mean she has to give up on her dreams and desires.
I really enjoyed this story and hope to read about the consort that is dying with cancer and the race against time to find her fated mate before is to late. I already live the premise of that story. Highly recommended

When he accidentally touches one of them, it is his fated and she is a day walker. Callidora is 18 and an only child. All she has ever wanted was to train to kill the night walkers. Her parents are super protective over her. She has had to sneak in the lessons. She has dreaded the moment she will meet her fated for she feared he would not let her continue with her goal. The two are well matched, and he is going to train her himself to fight. Will her parents have a problem with it? Can he go without claiming her until a later date?

I thought that this was a wonderful book. I really loved Braeden and Callie together. I loved Callie's determination to achieve her dreams but also Braeden because he was willing to do anything for his mate if it made her happy. Wow! I just love the Bancroft family with the fierce way they love their consorts and support them no matter what! I love the constant action paired up with their eternal love! An Insta love romance

Daywalkers can wait centuries to meet their fated mates and Braeden has waited over 5 centuries. Callie has only just turned 18 when they meet, and they have an immediate attraction that can't be denied. But Callie has plans for her life and Bearden will have to convince her that she can be his and have it all. I really enjoyed the relationship between then as they each discovered how far the other would go to ensure their happiness.
