Vampire Brigade: USASFVB

Although no one is really sure when or where it started, somewhere around 2050, the United States Army continued research to create the super Soldier. During this process they stumbled across the genetic mutation to create, what was previously horror fiction, vampires. Studies continued on these test subjects until they were finally able to alter the genes to allow the vampires to be immune to sunlight, to be able to absorb nutrition through both blood and human food, and to heal with speeds that were created in fictional comic books of mutants. These were the “Super” Soldiers the government was looking for...super speed, flight, super strength, skin like superman, unable to die from traditional methods of warfare or age...immortal.

Exciting, fun, intense

I'm hooked. I think there's likely a metaphor here about the military making monsters of their recruits then punishing them for how they react? But I was caught up in the story and I haven't really had a chance to decompress or sit with it yet.
Anxiously awaiting part 2 please.

Can't Wait For The Next One

Unique and enthralling. The characters, the detail, the storyline. This is definitely going to be a juicy series. Can't wait to read the next one.
