Truly one of the most amazing stories I've read in my life. It reached my heart and my own experiences with such a raw, profound, and beautiful portrayal of the human experience I can't begin to give it justice with a review. I've never read a portrayal of emotional recovery after trauma that rang so true and healing. The characterization was perfect, and it will forever stick with me as one of those stories that has changed my life. I don't know why the best fic always seems to surpass regular books in some way. It seems the author hasn't been active on ff.net for nearly a decade but if they ever find this, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
