What would you do? A two-car crash next to your house, at the end of a street going nowhere, and before the cops show up, you found and hid a charred suitcase and a heavy duffle bag among the dead bodies. After the cops left, a strange girl shows up at your door. Throwing caution to the wind, she and you, open the suitcase and the duffle to discover fourteen million dollars, a ton of drugs, and assorted body parts. You'd dispose of the body parts, take the money and drugs, and run, that's what you'd do; and so begins White Trash by A.L. Norton and Dell Sweet, a fascinating crime and cross-country chase story involving crime bosses, assassins, cops, and the stars of the show, David and April.

I've tried writing a novel with a co-author, but the differences in writing styles were a bridge too far and we gave it up. In the case of A.L. Norton and Dell Sweet, it's impossible to determine who wrote what. The story line is seamless, from characterization to dialog to the fast-paced scene and character changes. I especially enjoyed the dialog that was true to character and scene. White Trash is not a novel you read half-asleep. It demands your full attention to keep up with the twists and turns of the chase; but it's also well worth that effort. Character name changes within the story are generally a "no-no" but Norton and Sweet made this a central piece of the story line and it worked to perfection! Verisimilitude, a sense of reality, is important to me as a reader and the author duo proved adept at maintaining that trait through scene description, language, and the violence that plays a large role within the context of the story. A hot story that leaves the reader breathless. White Trash is a winner!

Wow! Great book! Action kicked off this story from the very start and it continued all the way through. There was a lot that happened. There were a lot of different characters at play, and there was never a dull moment. Just when I thought I knew what was going on, the story took a twist and left me with more questions. The characters were positioned well. The plot was elaborate, and the ending was completely unexpected. The whole story was carefully thought out, and it was executed quite well. I wanted to keep turning the page! Two thumbs up!

Thrilling read from the start!

This read hooks you in from the very start. Those first few paragraphs get your attention and it doesn’t let up. It is gripping and very fast -paced. Whenever there are drugs and cash involved, especially multi million dollars of both, then there is always murder, corruption, crooked cops and the anti-hero who finds himself right in the middle of it all. He’s certainly not a saint, as his actions testify, but he’s street-smart and you actually cheer for him the end.
Both of these authors, each having published in their own right, have combined to create a great read that has all the ingredients for a best seller.
Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars for a read that will knock your socks off!!

Wow! If you love lots of violence, a story with plenty of twists and an ending I didn't see coming, this is for you.
David is a nobody living in a trailer, then bullets start to fly from two cars as they speed down the dead-end road. One crashes into a large oak tree and the other runs out of road and flips in the ditch.
What's he to do? They're all dead. He salvages what he can and hides it inside his trailer as he hears police sirens approaching.
What follows next is none-stop action as the mob wants to collect, throw in a double cross, an assassin, dirty cops, and this is a plot like no other.
Loved it.
You won't be able to put this story down.
