Satisfying.
This book is a collection of five short stories. The stories are all about people who live in India, so that makes for an interesting reading.
The stories are all about future technology. They show a problem and solution that are solved by science.
The stories all have a twisty ending.

I read science fiction once in a while and every time I do I end up keeping it on my favourite shelf. The same happened with this book.
Sci5 by Perillai is a compilation of 5 short, easy and interesting stories. Each one is unique on its own. That said there is a common theme in the book. Every story is the answer to a question. I liked the chapter The Businessman's Dilemma the best. The first chapter "Nightmare of a Boy" is also quite good. It was very interesting to see how far parents can go when it comes to the protection of their kids. Kudos to the author on his first book, I look forward to more of his work.
It was overall a light, quick and interesting read.
You might like to wander through a few artistic journals — they’re full of sparks and surprises.

Sci5 is a collection of 5 interesting Sci-fi short stories. Each story is unique in its own way with an intriguing plot twist. The use of science is used to perfectly ideate these twists. There aren’t too many scientific jargons used in the stories, therefore making it a very easy read even for a layman.
One interesting fact about Sci5: The Author has written each story which happens in the “Future”!
It was a very different read and I absolutely enjoyed reading it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a quick, fast paced, one-sitting read!

Sci5 is a collection of five sci-fi short stories, all filled with mystery. What an amazing way to start the spooky season!!
I liked the futuristic thinking of the author, put together in all the stories and it was very intriguing. All the five stories are riveting enough, that i couldn't stop myself but read as much as i could in one day.
My favorite of all the stories will be "The wrath of Mary" and you'll know 'why?' once you guys read it.
I have a special place for short stories and what more interesting than if it is a mixture of sci-fi and mystery. And thank you @writer.perillai for this.

❣I am back with one more Science Fiction but with some twist as we all think science which includes lot of information but no this is science fiction consisting five short stories with twist and turns involving scientific applications.
🚀Sci 5 is short read of 108 pages appprox and revolves around 5 amazing story which includes a part of science in it .
So love to give you some blurb of 5 stories :
1. Nightmare of a boy: Sudden reccurent dreams of Anand going to change his life and will engross you in the happenings and the ending will twist you most.
2. The businessman's dilema: Raj Manohar, a sucessful buisnessman facing an issue in deciding his legal heir for buisness and an apt solution is provided by a scientific application
3: The killing Hobby: Two science enthusiast kids, fond of flying drones couldnot undestand the dire consequeces of their act,leading to series of dealths.
4: The UFO landed: Muthukumar, fond of the thought of existence of aliens in the world, gets to know more about their existence and how their existence and visits are erased from people's mind.
5: The Wrath of Mary: Mary, a smart robot, being a machine designed to lag emotions and just serve commands. But one day, she couldnot let go the misdeads of her master and didnot perform the task properly. This leads to a turn to he end of the plots. Was she right?
The main characters per story are Indian and it also took place in India. This book explores the advancements of technology in the near future and what it can do for the humans. The most love story of my is last one The Earth Mary which is small box big bomb at last .
So without giving more spoilers . I would love to recommend everyone to Turn the pages to explore these intriguing story in detail. Each and every single character is well portrayed making the book more interesting to read.
The language used is clear and simple for anyone to understand. The light and fast-paced writing style of the author holds the attention of the readers till the extreme end. The narration done is smooth and beautifully maintained throughout.

➡️ An intriguing Sci-Fi anthology.
#INSIGHT: Sci5 is a Sci-Fi anthology series comprising of 5 short and medium length stories. Different stories highlighting very different lives and how the scientific breakthrough behind and the purpose of it is quite fascinating, though it starts with a bqckdrop of very repetitive kind of story lines but the way it unfolds to bringing the purpose of it is very well executed.
#REVIEW: Being an avid sci-fi enthusiast and reader, i rather found myself on dicey platform to comment on this book because I don't want to belittle the enormous effort put by author. There's a novelty in the thought process and author didn't try to copy - paste the existing plot lines and rather devised his own ideas.
#STRENGTH: It is good for Indian readers who sometime complaints that they can't get along with foreign names, characters and sometimes events.
Go on this short book is well formulated for your thirst.
#WEAKNESS: There so much and such a diverse content available that it takes too much to engage avid readers.
#TARGET READERS: New readers, Sci-fi readers
#AGE GROUP: All age group people can pick this up, it has covered almost all stages and lives through one of his characters
#GENRE: Sci-Fi , anthology

Sci5, from the title itself (which I am loving, by the way) is a collection of five short science fictions stories which all took place in India. I have not read any sci-fic stories for a while now so this book has really made me elated.
I. NIGHTMARES OF A BOY
The backstory of Anand and why this recurrent nightmare happens to him may not be in depth but the plot is surprising by how science works! The world becomes more advanced through science! I am really amazed by how the author has pulled off such setup with the mention of how the nanobots work and how it can “positively” affect and eventually change a person’s (Anand’s) behavior.
II. THE BUSINESSMAN’S DILEMMA
At first, I noticed that something was not right with the narration of the event through Raj’s point of view but I was astounded when it was explained on the near-end! Nothing was wrong with the narration. It is what it is because the plot calls for it.
Science and the advance technologies played their part again!
III. THE KILLING HOBBY
(Trigger Warning: Death)
In the near future, drones in India are being registered to keep track of who the owner is. This plaything is supposed to be used for recreational activities but a group of young men have used it on a different way and killed two innocent people.
This is actually the least that I like among the five because there is nothing extraordinary here unlike the first two stories. It is just like a regular story with the involvement of drones and nothing remarkable.
IV. THE DAY THE UFO LANDED
While the four stories channel a serious ambiance, this one is hilarious! I will try not to blab to avoid being a spoiler but this one really had me laughing! Alright! Just read this and get to know Muthukumaran and the UFO he keeps on seeing. Spare me from talking and spare yourself from being spoiled.
V. THE WRATH OF MARY
(Trigger Warning: Domestic Violence)
This story, once again, shows how science is changing the world with the advancement and convenience it offers. It also shows a “possibility” that A.I. devices can be more intelligent than they are made to be and people might rely on them in the future. Who knows? After all, people keep on discovering things.
Four of them are open-ended so let your imagination take it from there. Trust me, it’s exciting! Only The Wrath of Mary has a close ending and it makes sense because it is also the last story on the book. Lastly, Sci5 is a light and quick read with only 108 pages.
Ranking it from my most favorite to the least:

📚My Review:-Hello dear readers, I hope so you all are absolutely doing fine and healthy. I'm back with a fantastic book penned down by the author Perillai. The book " Sci5 " is a fictional read which features a collection of five short science fiction stories. If you are a sci-fi lover, you must definitely try this book out. I'm pretty sure you will love it. The first story features a boy named Anand who had a nightmare. As he woke up, he notices outline of some strange dark things moving in the footboard rail of his bed. He was curious to know and see what those dark things were. Often people avoid going to sleep in fear of the recurrence of nightmare. What was the nightmare about? Will he be able to recall all the things he saw and find out what those things were? The second story is about a businessman's dilemma. The author has beautifully portrayed about Raj Manohar and his family members. This story seems to be quite unique. Raj manohar describes the scene after his death, he could view his cheeks gone dry, his eyes puffed and his dead body. He could see his family members sitting around his body, crying. But the question still lies, how can a dead person narrate a story. The other three stories are as follows:- The killing hobby, The day the UFO landed and The wrath of mary. Each story was intriguing and will surely take the readers on a rollercoaster ride. Turn the pages to explore these intriguing story in detail. Each and every single character is well portrayed making the book more interesting to read. The language used is clear and simple for anyone to understand. This is an anthology of five short stories all stand alones. They are set in 2035 where life is pretty much the same with small enhancements. The writer did a nice job pulling me into the stories by including everyday life issues almost everyone has encountered. What happens when we have a solution for EVERY problem. And the solution becomes the problem(or maybe not.) All I can say is, if you see a fly swat it and flush it, lol
