A Fake Holy Mother in the Zombie Apocalypse
Bei Nuan found herself in an apocalypse novel that didn’t have a romantic pairing and became the holy mother female supporting character that specialized in being a drag to the team. In the end, she sacrificed the team to save a city of people and was cursed out by the readers.

The ML becomes deliriously cute and Meng around chapter 100. He is absolutely shameless in pressing the FL for super sweet, touchingly possessive 'rewards' for his help. It's honestly way too funny and addictive.
Like, he adorably fulfills her first kiss dream fantasy scenario (alone, in a library during the cozy afternoon (midnight moonlight for them) and asking her what book she was reading before pecking her gently (no tongue! No tongue!!!! 🤣🤣🤣) on the lips). My guy finds a way to have his way every time and you can't help but route for it honestly bc it's way too much fun to watch. 💗😂

Omg, update starting from chapter 200+, this ML is still so, so cute. Right now the FL can hear his thoughts bc of a system rewards perk for a side task and his internal thoughts have me ROLLING! Not only is his usually expressionless and silent external self actually super chatty to himself but his internal thoughts are also just WAY too different from his normal facial expressions which make this temporary experience all the more sweeter! 🤣🤣🤣
(For example:) *the ML's internal thoughts after pretending to be totally fine with staying friends with the FL and quit asking her to be his GF all the time: "(My performance just now was pretty good, right? She'll seek me out the next time she wants a hug, right? Probably. Be steady. Play the long game…)"*
This series ended up being dropped by the translator bc they started to feel the plot was becoming repetitive which is a shame since they had done such an excellent job translating so far. They ended up starting a new project I'm unfortunately not much interested in. I'm hoping someone will come along and complete this. It's really interesting and fun. Anyways, fingers crossed someone can complete thiiiiis!! 💗💗💗

I was super excited to read this one, and it started out hugely funny and intriguing. Then it got boring later. The various missions the female lead had to do felt pointless and simply for a quick laugh. They do turn out to be useful later, but I was over it by then. When she got the various powers, while they did serve the purpose of furthering the plot, it wasn't through the female lead's will. She only wanted to waste them for jokes. It just happened to help her get through the next events by luck, it felt like. It was all kind of incidental and little was purposeful, very unsatisfying. It was more like multiple little vignettes put together than a real coherent plot.
The relationship between the main couple was really sweet. I did like both characters. I just felt it was half-buried under all the cheap laughs, though. Some of the main side characters were almost entirely buried after being introduced. I liked them, too, quite a bit. They're all great people, just completely ignored half the time?? I clocked in for the finale and was glad it was over, epilogues excluded. I didn't get to them.

This story is okay, I don't see why the male lead can suddenly like the female lead so quickly considering he died in her hands last lifetime... even if he started to notice that she seemed to be someone different. But as a short leisurely read, this is funny and entertaining enough. Not to mention it has a sweet HE~

This was hilarious! I loved Bei Nuan and her humorous thought process. The mother rabbit and little rabbit anecdotes were amusing every time she mentioned them.
Her interaction with her system was also funny. Her tasks, in general, were hilarious. I loved reading about all of the crazy things she had to do in order to fulfill her missions. Her whole group became used to her crazy antics not long after getting along with each other lol. Luckily, Lu Xingchi was super smart and caught on early on and secretly helped her finish her missions.
I also really loved Bei Nuan and Du Rou's childish friendship lol. These two foodies are always at war with each other during meals, and they genuinely care about each other whenever they act out of character. Du Rou was so concerned whenever Bei Nuan didn't fight for food with him during dinner lol.
Her other teammates could have been fleshed out more, since Du Rou mainly had the most scenes as the comedic effect/light bulb in the group. Don't get me wrong; I loved his zombie dream, but the other two guys could have had more time as well.
Since Lu Xingchi was reborn, he was super OP, but that didn't make him any less interesting since he had to put up with all of Bei Nuan's shenanigans after he stopped trying to make her leave the group lol. I also really liked all of his flirty antics trying to get Bei Nuan to be his girlfriend lol.
