Stacey is trying to start over in a new town and working at a bakery. She meets Mayhem and does her best to deny the attraction. Since she won’t go out with him, he decides to kidnap her and show her a good time. When she is in danger, he plans to keep her safe and will do whatever it takes to do so. Fast-paced fun MC read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters and an entertaining story. I liked it.

I was trying to figure out if this book was a case of satire or just really bad acting/writing of the characters. Mayhem was so over the top with wanting to be with Stacy and the comedy of errors in which he went about trying to make her his girl made me think satire. The first set of bad guys getting what was coming to them was a little dark humor funny, then we hit the (trigger alerts)-attempted sexual assault, a talked about sexual assault and a murder of an innocent, illegal drug use, her PO officer with the degrading language and it went from satire to just plan old oily skeavy.

This was such a mix of everything, it was hard to figure out which way to turn. We had Stacy baking up a storm and coming up with yummy recipes, her overtly sexual boss, Mayhem and his wanting to help his mother out, the leader of the MC crew coming up with dangerous jobs for Mayhem, Stacy’s gross new parole officer, crooked police, baking competitions we can’t forget the author’s issue with Ray Liotta and the sexual gymnastics that Stacy and Mayhem finally got around to.

The inner dialogue had me scratching my head at times, the actual conversations were over the top, couple that with not knowing if to root for Mayhem getting the money to help his mom because it was done so viciously.

With the exception of some of the recipes it felt like the author did a quick search and got the bare bones info to put together this story. A lot of it was incorrect in terms of the IRS and many other matters in the story. After the rather promising start it felt like everything just took a tumble into the twilight zone of confusion, where a few poignant moments was all that was trying to bring together this convoluted mess that didn’t really have a direction.

Well.... Damn!! Mayhem by Zahra Girard is an MC story that will take you on one heck of a ride!!!!

Stacy is a sweet and kind heroine hoping for a fresh start in a new town. What she doesn't need is the attention of a ruthless biker.
Mayhem and Stacy are complete opposites but even she can't deny her attraction.
While Stacy denies his advances, Mayhem can't take no for an answer. Therefore, he will go to any length to have her, even kidnap her.
Gosh this was a ride....
Mayhem definitely lives up to his name. I loved that he had such a swoony side but damn when needed this man was absolutely ruthless.
When Stacy is in need of protection the killer / the alpha protector /the ruthless MC member comes out in full force and I couldn't have loved it more.
I enjoyed this captivating MC read. It was fast-paced and riddled with suspense, swoon, drama and steam.
I recommend this read!!!

I absolutely, without any reservations or doubt, love MAYHEM!!!!! The storyline of this book is so spot-on that it is scary! It fits the character of Sebastien, aka Mayem, to a tee! His brother Havoc is just as perfect. Mayhem's story has it all for me, not just the genres but the right mix of the characters to bring him home to us as a class A crazy man who loves his woman! I laughed out loud, cursed out loud, screamed out loud as Mayhem and Stacy figured their proverbial stuff out! I cannot say more without giving away the story. Please read it and be prepared for an excellent dose of wit, drama, action, suspense, betrayal, and mystery! All in the right amount!!!!! I hope Havoc gets his story next. He is studying Latin so hard......and he wants it!!!!

This is an intense story that really grabs your attention and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Mayhem and Stacey have both suffered and Mayhem has known tragedy from a young age so there's nothing he won't do to protect those he cares about. Stacey is trying to start her life over in a new town working at the bakery. When her and Mayhem meet she decides to ignore the attraction since she's not going to act on it. Mayhem decides to show her what she's missing out on. When he finds out she's in danger he'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. I will say that this was an amazing story that really captures your interest with the sizzling chemistry, drama, suspense, elements of danger etc. I definitely recommend reading it.

They both have had troubled pasts. Mayhem ask Stacy out but she always turned him down. One of the Ol' Ladies suggest he kidnap her and he decides he just wants to take care of her. Stacy was on drugs and went to prison and has a record. She's trying to get custody of her sister to save her from the life she had. Will the MC prevent her from her goal? Her horrible parole officer is causing her problems. Will Mayhem be able to protect her? I don't want to ruin it for you, so I won't say anymore. You'll have to read to see what happens. This book has it all. I have enjoyed all the books in the Twisted Devil's MC series and highly recommend it. Can't wait to see what's next. Patsy Sacco

Oh man the prologue to this book gutted me…so heart wrenching…happy the book lightened up. Mayhem is a really interesting character. He got my attention in previous books and I’m so glad he’s getting his story. This man is not the brightest bulb but he’s sweet to the ones he cares for and he’s hilarious on top of that. His family is a little nuts and so funny too! Mayhem sets his sights on Stacy and he’s determined to make her his. These two are adorable. They’re both a little broken but they care so much for each other. Mayhem in protective mode is a sight to see, the man is a human wrecking ball. Loved this story!

She is working at a bakery working to help her sister get emancipated to get her away from home and her parents. She is keeping clean and trying to deal with her patrol officer. Mayhem has had a retrieve past as well and can only rely in his MC family. All he wants to do is protect them at all costs. He does not have feelings for anything else, that is untilnhe meets Stacy. Now all he wants is to be near her and protect her. Will theu heal each other or will her association with the MC cost her more than she bargained for?

This was a very, very good read. I really enjoyed the tension and intensity of this story. It held my attention firmly and had me right on the edge. I liked Mayhem and Stacy a lot. Their attraction was powerful and their chemistry sizzled. The skillfully crafted story had me captivated by its potent blend of drama, emotion, danger, humor, action, suspense, desire, sweetness, twists and romance. From the moments that will have you feeling gutted, to the zany one that will put a smile on your face, to the ones that will have you feeling desperate; this book packs a super serious wallop to your heart and stretches your nerves to the breaking point. Truly a great name for this book. Mayhem (Sebastien) has grown up with nothing but tragedy so his MC brother and everyone he cares about he protects. Stacey is in a new town trying to start a new life and is working at the bakery. Stacey and Mayhem have plenty of attraction towards each other but Stacey is trying to keep clear. When Mayhem finds out that Stacey is in danger he decides to do something about it. This story has lots of drama, danger, action, suspense, humor, betrayal, protectiveness, twists, romance, and steam. Great story that will keep you intrigues throughout. Another good story. I loved Mayhem. He's hysterical. Always wanting to blow things up. He loves his family so much and will do anything for them. He has a crush on the girl who works at the local bakery. He's always there buying cupcakes and all kinds of goodies.
His mom needs money before the IRS repossess her house. So Mayhem signs up for jobs the mafia will pay well for.
While he's working the jobs he realizes he's not a good guy and shouldn't be in a relationship with Stacy, the baker. So typical man, he doesn't talk about it with her he just leaves for days to do a job. And pretty much breaks up with Stacy.
Little does he know Stacy is in big trouble and needs him.

I absolutely love this book. It's griity action keeps you reading all through the night. It is awesome I would definitely recommend this book. It has plenty of action and heat along with a kidnapping and a powerful man who is trying to take her away. She is in definate need of a protector even if he is a killer who kidnapped her. Truthfully a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first page.

This is Mayhem and Stacy's story and it's completely heartbreaking. Mayhem is given a great responsibility after tragedy strikes his family at such a young age. This family has such a massive love for each other and there's nothing Mayhem won't do to protect that. Stacy has been through so much in her life and it doesn't seem to stop. Mayhem and Stacy find salvation in each other. He sees the strength in her that keeps her going even when things are at their worst. Now he knows what his Dad meant, Stacy is his everything, and he's her everything.

This book is nothing short of amazing! This book has it all, from motorcycle gangs to romance to plot twists like you've never seen before. It's so easy to fall in love with Mayhem and Stacy in such a short time, especially after all they went through to finally be with one another! There's nothing better to read than a good old happily ever after, once all the bad guys are dealt with and there's pastries involved! Could not get enough of these two!

Mayhem and Stacy are just what the other needs. They both have suffered, made questionable choices, are determined and love fiercely. I would not have imagined a story like this for Mayhem. You could not help but want him to be on your side in a fight.

A really entertaining read with a great balance of mystery, romance, sexual tensions and other mixed emotional events but at times some very humourous moments. Loved the characters of Mayhem and Stacy and the vulnerability of both characters and their resiliency towards life's hurdles thrown their way. Loved the idea that family is not always about blood relationships but by the true connections that form bonds between people. Look forward to seeking out further adventures by this author.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was a really great book. I really enjoyed most of all of the characters. This was a book of protection, compassion, kindness, protection, doing what's right for you and your family and also falling in love. I really enjoyed Mayhem and Stacy story. The author did a great job with putting these two characters together. They made a very interesting couple. They were great for each other. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.

Stacy is working hard to make her life independent from her family and get custody of her sister too. When she gets a stalker she finds a safe place with Mayhem and the Twisted Devils MC. Mayhem maybe a monster among men but it takes one to fight another. Can he keep her safe? Along with the troubles the MC faces? Well written great addition to the series. Engaging story and well developed characters.

This series has changed so much since the beginning but Goldie and now Mayhem's stories have been crazy! The guy definitely has it out for Ray Liotta! But, in all of Mayhem's chaos and craziness, the story was good, although outrageous at times. There could also potentially be a lot of triggers for people. Having said all that, the characters were pretty remarkable giving this book a four star from me.

An exciting addition to the series!

An action pack addition to the series that doesn’t disappoint! Mayhem past made him the man he is today, dedicated to his family and MC. When Stacy enters his life, she factors feeling in his life that he did not expect. When he decide to do something about his emotions, he discovers that she is too good for him or so he thinks. I loved how these two characters who had such a tragic history find each other to make for a deserving HEA.

So good!

I’ll admit that I was not sure what path this story would take. Mayhem is one of the crazy twins we’ve met in previous books. He and Havoc have made for great comedic material with their antics.
This is a ride along I’m glad I took. Mayhem and his Cupcake are an amazing couple that you root for the whole time. As with all TDMC books, there is mystery, drama, intrigue and MC violence but all that is tempered with a great HEA. Can’t wait for the next one!!!

Stacy has had one bad turn after another but is trying to start fresh in a new area and work to help get her sister. Then she meets Mayhem who she tries to resit the pull towards him because she got enough going on but then danger comes looking for her and Mayhem steps up to keep her safe. Enjoyed their story.

Ups and downs

Two people with past pains that really work together. Each makes the other a better person but this story takes them down the hard road they take to an HEA. He doesn’t believe he’s good enough for her but he sure is good to her. She’s mired in problems from her past but is working hard for a future. They shouldn’t work but he’s not one to let things take their course so he has to force the issue. Fast paced read with characters you’ll want to see make it.

Loved this book but

Honestly there parts of leading lady's story that had talking and times yelling at book. I had to speed reading as if I were fast forwarding a movie. I wish I could find someone that love me enough to kidnap me to show me how much. I thought I was the only person that fantasized such scenarios.

It was great to read about Mayhem and Stacy. The story was great. It showed how even when you make the wrong choices you can make the right ones to atone for those mistakes. Definitely worth the read. I can’t wait to read another story about this MC.

Beware there are triggers in this book. Cupcake is the light to Mayhem's darkness. Cupcake is overcoming her past while Mayhem becomes her rock. I enjoyed reading about his softer side.
