I picked this book up periodically whenever I needed it. It was always there for me without fail and I am so thankful it was. It got me through so many emotions and hard spots. I finished it recently when I was at the lowest I had ever been in my life; I read the last page, flipped back to page 1, and started it all over again. I've lent this book out as well to those in my life who needed it and it's helped them. I cannot recommend this book enough to have on hand and it will be a repeat pick up throughout my life.

Feeling better isn't something you can just do. It's not instant or automatic or easy. It's a process: something you have to learn and commit to and practice. It's work. The work begins with figuring out your feelings: looking inside yourself, getting to know your vibrant and changing landscape, learning to notice and recognise and name everything you encounter.
