Help My Unbelief: devotional poems & prayers

As Christians, we don’t often talk about doubt. Yet it is a part of the Christian life in a fallen world with fallen hearts, minds, and bodies. Contrary to how we might treat ourselves or even others, the Lord does not admonish our doubts, belittle our fears, or scorn our weakness. Instead, he has given us a whole book of poems and prayers in Scripture that express the depth and breadth of the human experience, a large part of which includes doubt. Modeled after the Psalms, these poems were written to express doubt, wrestle with the Lord, and reorient the reader to the truth that—even in our doubt—God's kindness and mercy is far greater than we could ever imagine.
