A woman burned by love, a flashy tiger in her face, and a lone wolf watching her from the shadows.
When Chell discovers shifters are real she couldn’t be more thrilled. She thought things like that existed only in books, much like the ones she writes. But having two interested in her romantically comes as a complete surprise. How does one girl handle that?
This is NOT a reverse harem. You will wonder about her reaction to discovering supernaturals, this is explained in book 4 so don't base your review on it. Though each book is a different couple it also follows a timeline so read them in order.
I was a bit hesitant at first, Greg is... just... no. Chel, why? I mean, I know why. But why?
But thankfully... enter Noah! This is one swoon-worthy man. Not your typical macho-man, but gosh he has so much appeal. I hope we see a lot more of him and a lot less of Greg as the series progresses!
I loved the way shapeshifters were depicted in this and that the fun wasn't just limited to wolves. I also really loved the emphasis on the importance of friendships.
If you're looking for a quick, fun and saucy paranormal romance, I'd recommend giving Taming the Wolf a try.
This is a funny, cute, intriguing story about a girl who encounters a shifter tiger who is determined to get her in his bed. Greg, the tiger, wants Chelsea, but she refuses to have sex until she is married. Greg send his security chief, Noah, to secretly keep a watch on Chelsea, as he wants to insure her truthfulness. Chelsea discovers Noah, a wolf shifter, and soon realizes that she really doesn't want Greg, but is extremely interested in Noah. Greg is not one to lose gracefully, so the situation soon escalates in teeth, claws, and blood. The winner will stake his claim on Chelsea, and hope she accepts his advances.

Chelsea caught her last boyfriend cheating on her because she wouldn’t sleep with him right away. So she is not in a hurry to find love right now. But an attractive guy keeps walking past the café and looking in at her. As she continues reading, someone says hello… it’s him, standing at her table. He takes a seat across from her and makes small-talk. She gives him a hard time, knowing he wants to ask her out but making him work for it. She finally suggests he should ask for her name and number. Then she asked for his. He is confident and self-assured, so if he doesn’t call, she intends to call him. Gregory moves so gracefully despite his size. It’s probably because he is a tiger shifter, as she will find out soon.
That evening, Chelsea heads for the park to jog alone. Taking a break on a bench, she gets up to leave and bumps into a man. Suddenly he grabs her and covers her mouth with his other hand. She bites his hand and screams as he slaps her. A loud roar behind the man makes him drop her – and there is tiger in front of her! Her attacker is frozen next to a tree as the tiger stands beside her defensively. When the man tries to run and trips, the tiger steps forward and Chelsea insanely grabs its fur to stop it as the man scurries off! And the tiger starts to change shape! The man she met at the café is standing in front of her! As an author, she has written about vampires and shapeshifters but never expected to meet one! But he admitted he was stalking her, and apologized because she wasn’t supposed to know. He is impressed at how well she is taking this news, however. She hugs him in thanks and he sniffs her hair. She immediately thinks she is grateful that he didn’t sniff her butt—oh, that’s dogs—so she giggled and he pulled back. And suddenly he’s kissing her! He suggests going to her place, but his cell phone rings and he curses instead. Then he walks her home. She asks if he will be stalking her tomorrow too, but he said he was assigning that to one of his guys, a wolf, since he has to work.
Having made a bet with Gregory that she gets to see their safe-house if she spots her wolf stalker, she meets her friends the next morning. All day she tries to spot her wolf stalker. Finally she heads home alone, trying to spot him. When she turns to go back in the alley she had gone through, she heard his sign and they talked while he stayed in the shadows. She surprised him over and over with her straightforward yet laid back attitude. And she guessed he was Greg’s caller the night before, Noah. When Greg approaches, Noah moves out of sight. Chelsea tells Greg that there will be no “fun” between them until they are married, so he agreed to marry her with the idea he would change her mind. Then he finds she loves video games and he said he was glad she didn’t tell Noah that – he adores them. But Greg still agreed to the idea of marriage. And Chelsea now had two admirers of the shifter type. Will this lead to a relationship? And which will she choose?
This is a super wonderful book to read. I wanted Chelsea for my best friend! She is so easy-going and adorable. No wonder the guys love her! Grab your copy and laugh in delight at her antics. This was a fantastic book I thoroughly enjoyed!
This was a cute book about two misfits who find their way to each other. When out FMC finds out that shifters are real she is very accepting in a way that seems to astonish the shifters. After dating one man who is not right for her she stumbles upon her true love while he is staking her. After a series of misadventures involving her female friends and her love interest the FMC finally is able to come to terms with what is happening and moving forward with her life.
For some reason that I cannot explain I spent the majority of the book expecting it to come out that the FMC was a shifter that did not know it. While this tainted my enjoyment slightly I did enjoy the snarkiness of the FMC and the quiet acceptance of the MMC. This book is funny and heartwarming and worth a read.

I absolutely loved this book! After I read the first book, I just knew I had to read the next book. I can’t wait to read more from this author! I definitely recommend it!
