Rate this book
The world is full of unexplainable things. Gavin and Lou are in the realm of the unfathomable. They have no beginning that they can point to and no conceivable end until they meet and unleash their dominances on the mere mortals that they come in contact with. They teach each other how to control their power. Then Lou finds herself in a situation where she is powerless. Unchecked by Lou’s kindness, Gavin embarks on a raging rampage thru the DREAMS and lives of his intended victims. For Gavin, Mercy is the Deadliest Sin.

Mercy, The Deadliest Sin is the second book and conclusion to Why We Don’t Die in Dreams by Debbie Zello. If you haven’t read Why We Don’t Die in Dreams you really should before beginning this one, as this book is a continuation of that story.
I had quite a lot of expectation for this book, as Why We Don’t Die in Dreams took me on a fantastic, mind-blowing ride- but ended leaving me with sooooo many unanswered questions. This book exceeded all my expectations and answered all those questions, and more. The story has a different feel and tone to it than the first book. It has quite a few twists and turns of its own- leaving the biggest bombshell till almost the very end.
To say I was hooked is an understatement, I couldn’t read quickly enough, and my mind was racing with all the possible scenarios and outcomes, trying to guess where Ms. Zello was leading us…. But none of the situations I imagined even came close to the brilliant ending Ms. Zello created. My mind has been official blown. I loved Why We Can’t Die in Dreams and Have loved this stunning conclusion just as much, if not a little more.
Ms. Zello has always been on my must-read author list, but this duet has cemented her there forevermore. I am excited to see what she comes up with next!
Kudos!
Happy Reading...

Thank you, Debbie Zello!
