Great book. Wish I had this information when I had to help my parents.

Must have Medicare resource!
There are many books and resources available on Medicare. Most are unsuccessful at explaining the complicated Medicare system in an easily understandable way. I think I have read all of the books! Forget about Medicare.com if you are looking for a clear understanding. Its an easy place to buy Part D coverage, but even then I found no place that told me to go the website for that. If you are as confused as I was, there is no resource that comes close to the expertly delivered information that this book offers. Matt has explained and simplified the choices and rules in a manner that helped me make a confident and better educated decision on my coverage. Thank you Matt!!

A useful guide in understanding the Medicare system
I have a basic understanding of the Medicare process. This book gave me the knowledge to assist in asking appropriate questions when I begin the Medicare enrollment process next year. The clear explanation of the choices for enrollment will help me make the best decisions for my future health care needs.

A soups to nuts overview of Medicare!
Matt has written a comprehensive and unbiased overview of Medicare, from the history of its inception to the many options that one will need to consider before enrolling. His straight-forward approach makes a very complicated topic less daunting. I will be Medicare eligible in early 2022 and this book has given me all the information I need to confidently work with an insurance broker to determine the best coverage for my spouse and me. His tips provide great insight from an experienced health insurance executive regarding the different considerations to take into account when thinking through the many options for Medicare. This is a well done and easily read tutorial on Medicare and what ones needs to know to make the best buying decision. (Dan McCabe, spouse of kindle owner!)
