its ch 72 and lily still hasnt gotten a break. theo's eyebags are now currently a permanent fixture on his face. charlotte and lily are having a lesbian romance. theo is being upstaged in his own manhwa, bless him. furthermore, heissen and owen are still waving at her from the periphery, and adeline is having a diva off with all of the least qualified people to be doing the diva off concerning their mental states.


realistic in the sense that lily and theo are those parents who give each other the cold shoulder at the dining table and make their marriage everyone else's problem.

[I read the manhwa]

Thanks for the ugly cry, dear author. Only God knows how many times I instinctively grabbed my tissue box for I could sense something angst was coming. Other readers said that Theo is toned down in the manhwa so thank God. To be fair, the high rating is solely bcs I feel related to Lily and I love each of Lily's monologues which was done beautifully (imo) and I also love how she stood up for herself.

OH MY GOD, THE HERO MADE ME ANGRY. HE LOOKS CRAZY. HE DOESN'T DESERVE THE HEROINE AFTER EVERYTHING HE DID TO HER. HE MADE HER A STORE OF GRIEF. DAMN THE DUKE, THE HEROINE'S FAMILY, AND THE HERO. IT'S OVER.
