1.75 ‘purple trunk of hunger’ stars 🍆

I can't believe I nearly missed the release of another JK novella! I couldn't imagine myself without them! 🧍‍♀️I physically could not take this book seriously. The way the hero is described made me think this was a monster romance. Apparently, Butch’s (H) dick is so fucking huge that no woman wants to be with him. JK really just giving us the same story in different fonts—

•virgin heroine
•hero has an ‘elephant cock’
•MCs fall in love after fucking once
•hero stalks heroine
•daddy kink

Miss. Kane needs to stop fucking playin’ with these sex scenes😂 The first meeting between Cindy (h) really sets up the storyline for what it is. Butch cums…in his jeans…from just seeing her for the first time

She steps closer. Her tits jiggle just a little inside her white tank top—

The description of Butch’s dick had me straight up howling sometimes. Butch goes on and on the whole novella about how no woman wants him because his dick is too big and easily hurts them.

I want to scream at the top of my lungs 🫁!! This was so freaking good 😊 I want to scream 😱 Bloody Mary. Coaxing the roughneck was lovely and detailed and the kink was on a million and six… I loved every second and I can’t wait until many more !!

I finished reading this in the silly, goofy mood hours of 4am and this just hit every mark for me.

Suspend your disbelief of the bonkers plot premise and insta-everything of the main couple, and all you really have are two obsessed dorks in love having hot, rough sex.

Our FMC Cindy inherits a sole oil rig after the owner, her estranged father, passes away. Cindy knows absolutely nothing about the oil industry, but she can make a pretty penny if she sells it, which would help her settle herself in life and grow her landscaping business.

After hearing of the owner’s passing, all workers have left the rig to find other work. All except one. Our MMC, Butch. He’s worked and lived there for over 5 years, never once in that time having come up on deck, and seemingly nothing will move him.

Can Cindy find some way to change his mind?😉

Same old goodness!

Someone on Reddit reviewed a bunch of Jessa Kane's book and found they all share a lot of similar threads. Reading them I realized that if I had seen them just mentioned her books wouldn't necessarily be my cup of tea. Some days later the newsletter arrives letting me know she has a new book and here I am one clicking without even reading the description of the book.
Yes, they may have the same built lines, but they are all so good! This one checks all the boxes and turns the idea of 2 people in love, obsessed with each other, to a whole new level. Looking forward to the next Jessa Kane book, so I can oneclick it again with no remorse.

When Cindy inherits an oil rig from her father at nineteen her first thought is to sell and make a better life for herself. Help free both her and her mom of debt. After all he was never a good father or husband, having left many years before, so why perpetuate his legacy?

But then the lawyer says something that complicates things, “If you want to sell this rig, you’ll have to find a way to make Butch leave.” Puzzlement draws [Cindy’s] brows together. “Butch? Who is that?” “The rig mechanic.”

And in what can only be called a dick move he ends with “Good luck explaining to your potential buyer that their new rig comes with a seven-foot beast with a bad temper who takes orders from no one but himself.”

So now Cindy has no choice but to climb down into the bowels of the rig and confront a man who’s nearly two feet taller than her and apparently unwilling to relent on his stance to exit the place he considers home. But the moment their eyes connect and they see each other the world shifts.

And the simple sight of her has him coming down the leg of his pants, but her response is the cutest. “That w-was one heck of a greeting. I don’t think anyone has ever been quite so happy to see me.” [Butch] grunt, grateful for the dim lighting so [Cindy] doesn’t see the tips of [his] ears are burning red.

And things simply get more intense from there. To help coax her roughneck out from the depths of the rig she barters her body for his ascent. With each floor things get steamier until finally they explode. And my gawd I don’t know how she made his dick the side of three coke cans work but if she wasn’t meant for him no one was.

Of all the ways this story could have gone, I was not prepared for the moment Butch literally turns into Tarzan 🤦🏽‍♀️ “He sees me and pounds his chest, once, twice, the feral gleam in his eyes taking on even more dimension.”

Thank fuck that gag inducing moment is quickly replaced with a very loud, very public romp. Again no idea how this little girl handled that beast up against a wall in public but damn wouldn’t you debate on trying.

The epilogue has a five year time jump and we end with a declaration of total devotion, complete stalker ways, babies, and forever afters.

These books are never a disappointment for a quick fix 😉 or ramp up for more.

I have read EVERY single book and have re-read them all at least three times, some more than others and this is now one (of many) of my favorites! I own all but like 2 or three (kindle unlimited those few though) of Jessa Kane's books and buy them as soon as they come out. Seriously in my top three authors, and number one every time I read her book(s). I swear I'm not creepy or scary and nowhere on the same level of obsessed as Butch or the Navy Seal Stepbrother or the Olympians coach lol

Cindy decides to trade herself in exchange for Butch to budge, but it seems like Butch wants an awful lot more.

Includes a daddy kink and some breeding action. Hero also apparently has a big package downstairs. Fun novella.
