Miranda Bridges began sneaking romance novels as a teenager and did not confess to reading them until she became a legal adult. After years and years as a voracious reader she woke up one day with a story in mind. She decided to write it down in order to silence her imaginary friends, but they’ve grown in number and have gotten louder. When she is not reading, writing, or drinking coffee she is taking care of two princesses who are of a reading age. Needless to say Miranda is still hiding romance books around the house, but now some of them have her name on the cover.

What a way to end a series. I loved it. I don’t know which story in this series was my favourite, they were all so good. But, unlike all the others, for some reason the first 10% of this story was riddled with typos. Maybe it was just my copy? Either way, I kept reading because I’ve been waiting for Ash’s story, and I wasn’t disappointed. I normally dock stars for typos, but in this case I think the story is good enough to hold its own.

Just crawling down the ladder...

I used to love M. Bridges books. But the past few books has been wham bam thank you mam insta love. There's still a storyline that's interesting thank god. The past few books lacks character depth and has a lot of repetitive boring sex scenes. I swear another "oh big dick, orgasm stat" will make me puke. The kaimar series was fantastic but it has been downhill since then. First book of this series with xelias was great, the one with blaze good and the third with caspian ok. I have no idea what went wrong after that. The fc gets more and more teen childish and the males are dick driven "I love you, you have a pussy" vibe.....

No just no. Shape up M. Bridges you used to be great. Stop mass producing shit and write something thats actually worth reading.

No Epilogue

Why not give an Epilogue on all the couples with children or something. It leaves me disappointed not knowing how it all works out.

I have to say that I'm really disappointed. The first few books were good, but then it just got repetitive, and honestly, boring. There were a lot of loose ends that seemed to get pushed under the rug. Everything happened so easily. I would have liked a LOT less instalove. I kind of skimmed the last couple of books in Hope's that this one would have gone out with a bang, but no. It seemed rushed, predictable, boring

I realised that I had read these books before when it opened to the end of the book. But I reread it it was so long ago.
I enjoy Sci Fi because anything goes. There is wit, humour, action, evil, suspense, tension and more as these alpha men set about finding earth woman that may save them.
Earth is dying someone set it on fire. Aliens are looking for the one woman that will awaken their potential but what they find is more than they thought. Along the way they find their mates.
A quick and fun read.

A fantastic end to a great series

I have loved every one of the books in this series. But this one shredded my heart. There were so many tender, emotional scenes between the main characters, I mean ooof!

Cora was abducted from earth and now finds herself leading a hand to mouth existence as a stripper in an alien nightclub. Ashryn is the faction leader of the Aetherbloods. His only goal is to see his people restored to their rightful place on their home planet of Koraxia. . . And to kill the man who betrayed them all, his Uncle Xennith. The last thing he needs, or wants, is a mate. But a mate he will have if fate has anything to say about it.

The overarching storyline has been spread across 7 books and culminates in a confrontation between the 7 faction commanders and Xennith. It’s a good storyline, my only criticism here is that for a battle that we have been waiting for through 7 books, it ended rather quickly. I mean, I wasn’t entirely mad at it because I wanted to get back to Ashryn and Cora’s story. But still . . .

I do love this author, but I like my romances light with a touch of humor, rather than dark. And Ms. Bridges delivered here. I was completely satisfied with Ashryn and Cora’s HEA.

Whoop!

Loved this final book of the series and how the elementals all got together for the final conflict. It's a bonus to learn about what caused Earth's demise.
The romance of Cora and Ash was just as mixed as Ash was in the series. Awesome.
My favorite line of the book, "“How did I ever foolishly believe I did not want a mate? You are every dream come to life, a vision of the future I do not deserve, yet want to grasp with both hands. Ahnarra, come what may, know that I care for you more than I have any another and that I am eternally devoted to you in this life, and the next.”

A fantastic end to an awesome series 💖💖🔥🔥🔥🔥

I have to say I'm really sad to see this series come to an end! Each book was unique each elemental strong sexy and a bit wild and each earth female sassy, beautiful and strong in their own ways. This boom was no exception Cora had been abducted and sold way before the others.She ended up on a planet stripping just to keep food in her belly and a roof over her head. She grew up In The circus back on earth and was highly flexible so dancing was not a complicated job. All she wanted to do is make enough money to find a safe place to live out the rest of her life that is until tall, purple and arrogant stepped into her life. Ash is aether blood some might say the strongest of the fractions. He has sacrificed all to see his people restored to their former glory and those responsible for the pain and heart ache destroyed. He needs help and the beautiful little human is going to help him wether she wants to or not. What he didn't count on was her being his fated mate. Once he realizes this all bets are off. Now his mission is to restore his people, kill the enemy and have his mate for eternity! It a tall order but if anyone can do it it's Ash. This story is the culmination of the series old friends make an appearance, an enemy is defeated and true love co where all with forgiveness, passion and soul.💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥🔥💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🔥🔥💖💖highly recommend!

Wow! What an ending to the series. While I am sad to say goodbye to these characters I am happy to see that they got their happy ending. Readers of this series will remember The Master - or Ashryn- as the antithesis to the goals of our heroes and heroines. Terra began to change this perception but this book truly explains the lengths Ashryn has gone to for his disgraced faction and for a better future for all. The final battle has arrived. Personal feelings must be put aside or forgiven for the good of the planet, all factions must work together. This is all well and good for Ash but when he finds his fated mate can he truly be selfless? Read the whole series (and this one) to find out! I do have to say that you have to read the rest of the series to understand all of the interrelations.
The relationship between Ash and Cora was fun but frustrating. I found myself yelling at them once they officially became mates - readers of the series will know what I mean - and the way they navigated their new relationship and the influence of Ash's past. I really liked how Ash’s past was explained and how he didn’t make excuses for his actions, his vulnerable side was readily apparent and I loved seeing it. I also liked how Cora wouldn’t let him be all self-sacrificing without her - once she accepted they were mates there was nothing anyone could say or do to make her leave which I LOVED. It was also nice to see the other couples again - so much so that I am now going back to read the rest of the series again.
My one complaint was the ending. I felt it needed an epilogue to show how the couples were after they had retaken Koraxia, what do their children look like? Are the faction leaders now ruling together like the ways of old? Does Ash actually become the Faction leader or do they leave the planet? So many questions but at least I know that they had their happy ending in regards to their love.

Written by Miranda Bridges, this Elemental Mates series follows elemental aliens and their human female mates. (The series used to have a co-author, but she stopped contributing in book 6) It takes place on Earth during a post-apocalyptic event where a fire wiped out most of humanity and burned the planet, leaving its remaining population starved and desperate. Earth wasn’t just dying; it was also full of people who had gone insane. Everyone resorted to a primitive state and they only cared about survival, doing whatever was necessary to ensure that. That involved murder, rape, theft, and copious amounts of violence. People scavenged for food and took refuge inside compounds against threats from other humans. The Koraxians came to Earth in search of females that were capable of unlocking their elemental potential. Nanobots swept over the Koraxian females, leaving the remaining immortal males unable to access their elemental powers and on the brink of extinction. Their desperation to find compatible alternatives led them to Earth, where they successfully found more than what they were looking for.

Written in first person, Amethyst is book 7 and final in the series, and follows Commander Ashryn of the Aetherbloods and his human mate Cora. Cora (stage name Gem) was an accomplished circus performer before the planet went to shit and she was abducted in book 1 by the Torags. To stay alive, she found herself a job as a stripper at a nightclub where she was saving her money to escape. Ashryn had a meeting inside that same nightclub with a scientist named Evren Tully, who was the creator of the androids that Eldar Xennith purchased and sent to kill Ash and his brethren at the colony on Eylarus. Ash needed access to Tully’s heavily secured lab to get the robot blueprints so blaze could hack into them during their attack on Xennith. After learning about Tully’s obsession with Cora, Ash blackmailed her into helping him break into Tully’s lab. He also learned about Cora being his fated mate.

We know Ashryn from prior books as the master of the zoo who imprisoned Blaze and the one who captured Maxim, threatening to take his mate from him, all in the name of his fraction. He was firstborn of Nireth and Gildra, a member of the Aetherblood Faction, and rightful heir to Eldar Xennith, the current and only eldar. Members of his family served on the revered council of Koraxia for millennia until the assassination of Tresdul, which Ash was innocently blamed for. Tresdul had warned the other council members about the addictive properties of elyxim and how their faction was heading toward destruction by way of insanity in their quest for more power, which Xennith didn’t like, so he killed him.

As a reminder from previous books, Xennith was behind the killings of the Aetherbloods and other Elders, and he was the one who released the nanobots that killed the Koraxian females, in order to gain ultimate power. He also intended to eliminate the humans in order to prevent his kind from gaining their true potential or procreate because he wanted to be the only one of his kind with powers.

The two had baggage from their pasts that hindered their ability to accept one another. Cora resorted to prostitution to survive and didn’t offer people her real name. Ashryn also preferred the life of anonymity, choosing to hide his identity behind a mask. He was selfish in his pursuit of vengeance but selfless when it came to his faction.

The couple had their first intercourse in chapter 13, at the 48% mark. The buildup was balanced and kept the reader hooked. The raunchy scenes are the only reason I read this genre of books, so I’m glad the author didn’t hold back. Ashryn was a virgin before Cora, and I found everything about their coming together perfect. Ashryn’s full potential was unlocked, but there was a side effect (or bonus depending on your perspective); Cora was transformed into a Koraxian mate, gaining air powers herself, adapting his hair color and birth marks, along with immortality.

There was a LOT going on in this book. So much so, that I am sure I missed some important highlights. They did end up defeating Xennith (finally) at the cost of Cora’s life force.

This series was good. Plenty of lust-filled raunch and I like how the authors incorporated magic into an alien romance. Each book caught my attention and kept me hooked on the overall storyline. I recommend the read.

💜 “You are my forever, Ahnarra.”
~~~
Cora is such a brave woman. After being abducted from Earth, she’s doing her best to survive. I loved her inner fire, strength and fierceness.
Ashryn is quite the character. As the Master, he’s developed so much throughout the whole series. He’s good, he’s evil, and he’s so much more. Ash is ruthless, calculating, dangerous and a male with extraordinary self-control. And he’s not one to make any excuses for his actions - good or bad. But at the same time, he’s so selfless, loyal and fiercely protective - Ash’ll do anything and sacrifice everything to protect his Aetherblood brothers.
I really enjoyed the development of their relationship. There was quite the animosity, distrust and denial between them. But Ash and Core were a great match and their chemistry was scorching hot. And after everything both have been through, they more than deserved to find love, happiness and forgiveness.
In addition, the big conflict comes to an end. All the seven factions band together against evil and the battle is epic. But.. I would’ve liked a bit more in the end...
Overall, the story is a great end to an awesome series. It’s filled with fast-paced action, danger, suspense, twists, epic battles, steamy romance and wonderful characters.
I loved it!
Amethyst
Book seven, last book of the series. This is a bit of a enemies to lovers book in that one of the bad guys from the rest of the series ends up being a good guy in the end. This gets summed up well in this line, "Sometimes villains are good people who are trying to right a wrong, but they do it in a way that requires them to do some shady [stuff]”. Brackets are mine, the actual text uses an explicit word, as it should.
The MFC in this story has a past as a circus performer, pole dancer, and prostitute. The MMC is rude about this in the beginning and I liked how the author had him learn to respect her and the occupations she had done to survive. Overall, the MFC does a great job transforming the MMC from a self righteous martyr into an actual real person who lives for more than his ego and his cause.
The world building and back story going on throughout all the books was fun and moved along nicely. There might have been a couple small things I lost track of by the end but overall the story held together. I will miss this group of book friends. Thanks to the author for a lovely series.
I cannot imagine a future that doesn't include my mate. Nor do I want to. This female is everything I thought I didn't want, yet everything I need to survive. No, she is more than crucial to my survival... She is my very life.
4.5 stars
The beginning of this novel was a little slow for me, but I couldn't help but be sucked into Ash and Cora's story. I've read this entire series, so I loved seeing all of the other couples bickering but happy and in love as the overall storyline is finally resolved. This story was probably the hottest of the series yet (don't tell Blaze) as Ashryn was just so sexy and domineering, and I loved how obsessed he is with his mate. This was a fantastic finale to a great series, and I cannot wait to read more by Miranda Bridges🖤
Tropes: fated mates, hate-to-love-you, morally grey hero, down-on-her-luck heroine, grumpy/sunshine, 'touch her and die' vibes, alien politics, alpha jp hero, hurt/comfort, light BDSM, STEAMY🔥
It's finished
What a jerk and so full of himself. She's just trying to survive on a planet after being taken from earth. She steal sometimes, hates what she has to do to live. They both feel the pull she steals his lighter and he knows it, blackmailed her to help him to get the blueprints to the Androids. The scientist comes close to do horrible things to her till he was able rescue her. He finally figures out she's his mate and fights it hard. On the ship she ...lol...attacked him and they become one. She learning a few things on her own. The commanders finally come together to take care of the elder who caused the war. With her help giving her energy to kai, Ash and Kai were able to take care if the elder and freeing their planet. But because of her braveness she's in a coma. His cousin and aunt were able to bring her back with their essence energy.
A little slow to unfold but worth it in the end
Ashryn is Aetherblood and the villain up to this point. The truth is more complicated but it's slow going for the 1st 3rd of the book. Cora was abducted from earth and works as a dancer to survive. Ashryn uses her to achieve his goal but realizes he cannot ignore that she is his true mate. The story picks up as the faction leaders and their mates come together to take down the true villain. I enjoyed seeing all the couples show off their skills in battle. I'm sad to see the series end but will definitely read others by this author.
Great read Great Series
This was a great series. A little sad it is ending. Ashryn wanted so bad to defeat his evil uncle and restore his ppl to their right place but he severed his relationship with the other Elemental leaders. Cora with her not so perfect past showed him happiness and forgiveness is always there you just have to desire it and reach for each. I loved this book the ending was just a little disappointing. I was hoping to read about Elemental babies being born, their home world being restored etc. But over all great read.
So...I loved all the books in this series except for this one. The issue I have is that the ending. This ended fine for this particular love story but it did not end well for the last book of a series. I'm not gonna name names but I mean, wth. I'm not even sure what happened with the "bad" guy. This left me disappointed at the ending. Ugh. I would have loved to hear a bit about how they fixed their planet up and I'm not good with books that leave things to the imagination and don't explain things. What a crap ending for a wonderful series.
I started this book last year and stopped and read several other books till I decided to come back to it. I must say I was really disappointed in this book. I was expecting so much based on the others from the series especially because this was supposed to be the last book. I thought it was very ant climactic for the end of a series. There was no epilogue to give an update to where any of the couples were in their lives after everything or even an update of Ash & Cora. I give this 2 stars just because it was a good series with the exception of this one.
What a ride! I think Amethyst has now become my favorite of the series. Cora is written beautifully…strong and capable. I love when the heroine can contribute to the plot. Ash is a dream mate…the bad boy vibe just melts my heart. I got so involved in this book that I was disappointed when it ended cause I wanted more but I know Miranda Bridges will create another series to satisfy us readers. Excellent read. Download ❤️❤️❤️
I really wanted to love this one. With it being the series finale, I thought there would be more…closure. We know from previous books in the series that some of the human mates that took on Koraxian DNA were pregnant. No updates on them. No epilogue for Ash and Cora. Eventually, I liked Ash. Sometimes I liked Cora. This one just just okay for me. I’m a fan of Bridges though, I look forward to whatever she writes next.
Amethyst #7
I'm so sorry to see this series end. I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire set. Each character in each book captures you and keeps you entranced until you finish. You have to have lots of will power to put the book down to do other things, like sleep. I'm so glad I took a chance on this author. I had never read anything by her until the 1 st book in the series and now I have to go find the rest of her books to read. Amazing author.
Este libro es interesante, parece el final de la serie, derrotan al "malo" (la pelea final no me dejo satisfecha, fue un poco patética), otra cosa, me hubiera gustado saber que paso con el científico al final
La historia entre los personajes principales.. pues fue lo de siempre, alguno en negación y al final se enamoran.
Me gusta que los personajes de los libros anteriores formen parte de alguna manera en las siguientes historias, y aquí pues fue en la batalla
A hot ,sexy, seductive and passionate read.
This is the final book in the Elemental Mates series.
The female lead Cora has led quite a colorful life. Fortunately for her she is strong and formidable with all that she has had to endure. Ashryn the meanest Elemental male of them all finally seeks revenge for his people and their rightful place on Koraxia.
Ash and Cora have more to survive than just the obstacles that are thrown against them. While it seems like this relationship went from zero to 100 very quickly, the theme of fated mates does supercharge this entire series. And who doesn't want to read about a couple who can't keep their hands off of each other?
Este libro fue distinto a los demás. La historia detrás de la trama del primer libro se mantiene, aunque el romance entre los protagonistas no se desarrolla ni se potencia tanto como en los demás libros.
Fue un buen cierre para la serie. Si quieren leer algo distinto y fuera de este mundo, esta es una buena opción.
A terrific series that know you will be rereading.
Anyone who enjoys alien romance can't help but be enthralled with this series. Each book draws you in so that you hate to put it down and the way the characters draw together from book to book keeps the central theme. Romance, sex, love; this series has it all!
