Uzziah: Mountain Man: The Making of a Mountain Man: A Eighth Mountain Man Adventure

Rate this book
The eighth " Mountain Man" adventure from JJ Bonham has arrived!

After a buffalo run, Uzziah and Immanuel decide to stay with Standing Bear and the others at the settlement. A driverless tinker wagon comes by. They find blood on the buggy seat and go exploring. The tinker, an old black man, tells them a fanciful tale of women, both white and Crow, who have been stolen by Comancheros. Disaster strikes when the women are rescued, and one woman and one mountain man get swept over a high waterfall on the Arkansas River. The head of the Comancheros takes off with his helper, Marta. They only have two women now, young girls barely 12 and 14 years of age. Virgins bring the most cash.

Uzziah and Immanuel go after them, but discover murdered ranchers along the way. They bury the ranchers, but are discovered by wranglers from the outfit, who think they killed their bosses. After what could only be described as divine intervention, they leave, but the next morning the foreman of the wranglers gather up his men and ride out after the two mountain men.

Finally, in Anton Chico, New Mexico Territory, there is a shootout between the head of the Comancheros and Marta, Uzziah and Immanuel, and the foreman and his men from the horse ranch.

Will the two mountain men be gunned down when they’re caught in the crossfire between six smoking guns? Will the young girls be killed or make it out of the gunfight, and finally, will justice be done when innocence is sold for a price and perversion rules the day? Grab your copy today!

Great story, but disappointed

This is the usual well written book. I have read almost all of your books, enjoying every one. I was disappointed in this one. When you described the sexual encounter with Standing Bear and she performed oral sex with Uzziah and he with her. That just turns me off. Such description has no place in an otherwise well written article. Please refrain in the future.
