Dare knows that love alone can’t save his boys from a terrible fate…meeting his insane family.

Every hurdle they’ve crossed and every step they’ve taken has brought them closer together, but to test their bonds, Ryan, Scott, and Dare know they have one big obstacle left to tackle…family. But for Scott and Ryan, Dare’s two strong, sexy subs, admitting what they need from Dare is easy compared to handling his rambunctious family.

Between his family testing his patience and his desire to test his boys’ limits, Dare knows that keeping their relationship quiet won’t last much longer. But as love takes their relationship to the next level, the one thing they all know is that they’re finally where they were meant to be…together.

This is the new and final book in the One Simple Word series and should be read in order after Yours, book one, and Love, book two.

Not a standalone - the final book in a trilogy.
A brilliant finale to the series with plenty of giggles, tonnes of steam and more than a few nosy family members!
You really see the growth that Scott and Ryan have as characters in this book and it's wonderful to see Dare have a wobbly moment or two and his boys help him along the way.
A fantastic book to end a wonderful series.

This is the conclusion of the One Simple Word trilogy. Each installment has shown the relationship grow stronger. Dare and his sweetly submissive boyfriends Scott and Ryan are now meeting families and becoming stronger partners. Scott and Ryan are now comfortable enough to tease each other and stop being quite as worried about everything as they have been. I love how happy the men all make each other. There is no angst here, just lots of sexy times and funny, adorable moments. This is a terrific HEA for characters who deserve just that. I love it!

3.5 Stars

I give 3.5 stars for this book, and for the series as a whole.

I skim read (as I did largely for book 2 of this series).

The intimate scenes were certainly hot and they are what kept me reading long after I’d lost interest in the associated storyline’s of family, work, etc.

It wasn’t terrible.
And I’m sure other people would rate it higher.
I just couldn’t get there.

Wow!!! This book was fantastic! I absolutely love these c hats tees with my entire heart and I loved watching them each come out of their shells to fit perfectly together in this relationship! They each bring something different to the relationship and they each complete each other! I love everything about the way that Sean found out about their relationship and the way that Scott was so nervous about it but in the end Sean made it clear that he would go to bat for him if anything got out about it! I thought for a whole that I wasn’t going to like him but it ended up being a good thing that he was there! I also love the way that dares family was introduced, but I wish that we would have gotten to know them a little bit better. And I love the way that Dare ends up moving in with Scott and Ryan and the way that they cement him moving in by all of them finally coming together for one very sexy and loving scene together!! The only thing that I would change about this book and the series in general is I wish that we would have gotten more of their conversations about their limits, interested and rules. I know that we find out a lot of this by their scenes and where they go but I would have liked to see even a little bit of it actually in their conversations with each other! However I still loved this series and this book was definitely the perfect ending to their story even if could have continued to read three more books about the life that they were creating together! I can’t wait to dive deeper into this authors published works!!

So dang good!!!

I loved this series so much. Being that this was the last book in the series I kept putting it down because I didn’t want it to end. I know we will probably get glimpses of these guys again but it’s not the same as being in their world. They are so beautiful together. Learning each other’s boundaries and fantasies while building their trust and love was so perfectly done. Thank goodness Dare knew what needed to be done even if he did have his own concerns he needed to work through. That’s okay he had two sexy boys to help him.

Wonderful way to tie these three men together! Although the previous book did have them all firmly in the relationship, this was the perfect completion to their story. Loved Dare's family and the little bit of page time that Scott's assistant Sean had -- I finally had a chance to see him as a person, not just an annoyance that Scott puts up with daily.

Just Meh

There really wasn’t any depth to the characters. And I felt like Sean was so completely unnecessary, but that’s just my two cents. Also, the name Sean was used for 2 other characters in the same world written under the M. A. Innes name.

A sweet conclusion to this sweet trilogy. There's no angst in this book, but there's plenty of the steaminess you can already expect from this interesting threesome.

Having read the first two when they were originally released I knew that continuing their story would only make things better

The good
+ How sweet everyone is
+ Scott and Ryan opening up more and more
+ Their dynamics. They're all so in tune with each other
+ Sean. I thought he was a dick, but the way he let Scott know he'd hide his secrets instead of gossip about them was really fucking nice
+ Scott desperately trying to seem boring so his colleagues wouldn't talk to him regardless
+ Dare's family. Scott deserves many kind parental figures in his life
+ Their reconnection with Freddy. It's good to also have friends outside of their relationship
+ Their love. The whole book was drenched in it and I loved it
+ The dynamics between Scott and Ryan. Scott trying to get Ryan punished, and Ryan being naughty because he secretly (not so secretly) wanted that punishment very badly

The neutral
o I would have liked some more interaction (and mostly sweet fawning over Scott by parental figures) with Dare's parents. It felt like it was all over way too soon and I wanted more of his kind of wild, but mostly very lovely family

The bad
- Going to the kinky bar was hyped up since the first book already, but when they went it was kind of a letdown to me. They seemed to have really enjoyed it, but to me as the reader it just seemed like they walked in, had a conversation with the waiter, got busted by one of their friends who then proceeded to be really cool about everything, and then they left. It just didn't live up to the hype for me

Quotes
x Falling in love with your best friend rocked. They didn't expect you to be smooth and sexy and you got points just for trying.

Yup. Would definitely recommend this book and the whole series if you're someone like me who loves sweet romances with no relationship angst and lots of sappiness. I loved it.
