One full day trapped in an office with my boss changes everything.
Michael
There are places I never considered I could end up. Such as lying spread out and tied up against my jerk of a boss's desk, calling him Santa. Gray Masters is a chore of a man, not to mention the world's biggest grinch. The last two years I’ve spent trying to impress him with my hard work and dedication to the company. I never expected my need for his approval to go beyond the office and into the bedroom. But when I receive a Christmas gift meant for someone else, one thing becomes very clear:
I can't go back to how things were before. Especially not after seeing my boss in nothing but lace panties and a Santa hat.
Want me Santa is a forced close proximity/enemies to lovers office romance with Christmas themed fun sure enough to brighten your holiday spirit.
Ashlynn Mills is a Latina from Texas who currently resides in Missouri with her family running a farm. She enjoys reading and writing all genres about people falling in love.
I started this book thinking i wasn’t going to like it. I usually love enemies to lovers, but these two were such enemies that I couldn’t imagine how they’d ever get together. They did of course, and it was a fun read getting them there. This was my first book by Ashlynn Mills and I’m delighted to see she has written many more. The writing just flows, the story was fun, and the sex was hot.
Honestly, I'm not sure if made it 4 chapters in. I love this author and normally really like her work, but this one just rubbed me the wrong way. Both of the main characters are complete asses. In fact, I couldn't find anything about either one of them to make me invested enough to care about what happened in the story. I've read other books with unlikable protagonists, but these two are completely one dimensional and just plain irritating. Just not the author's normal high quality work, so I'm just chalking this one up to one I don't care for and leaving it at that.
This was an atypical love story to say the least. Michael and Gray start off as bitter enemies who pretty much love to make each other miserable. Basically, they have a few years of foreplay.
I’ve read several reviews that state that Michael isn’t a likable character and I didn’t find that to be true at all. He was very much a wounded animal looking for some relief from his pain. Once his backstory is revealed, how can you feel anything but sympathy for him?
Michael was snarky and adorable. He wasn’t afraid to give Gray back everything he put out. The power dynamic was hot, as was the role play. I found this to be a fairly delightful read.
Michael and Gray were a whole mess of contradictions but they worked well together, especially once they stopped trying to push the others buttons all the time. I enjoyed their story and was glad that Gray was finally able to fully open up and let them be a real couple. It was a mix up that pushed them together to begin with but their love that kept them together.
Want Me Santa by Ashlynn Mills is about Gray and Michael. Michael is up for partner. He doesn’t really like his boss, Gray but he doesn’t let Gray stop him from becoming partner. Gray is the biggest Grinch and even makes him work on Christmas. Then Michael receives a secret Santa present meant for someone else...
I really liked their story. It was sexy, hot, had it's sweet moments and is very well written.
I really enjoyed this read! I was lucky enough to meet Ashlynn at GRL this year and she is a treat! This particular story line was a new expo for me, but I loved Gray and Michael!
An office romance that shouldn’t of worked. Two stubborn, determined men, giving all they have to outlast the other and come out on top.
Neither Gray or Michael were very lovable characters in the beginning. They eventually grew on me although Gray took longer than Michael.
I liked the writing. Theirs’ was definitely a give and take relationship that the author managed to never really let one have all the control. I enjoyed their story.

Official Description: One full day trapped in an office with my boss changes everything.
Gray Masters is the boss of an up and coming architectural business. Boss that is as in the boss from hell. Christmas is approaching and it can only get worse for Michael Mendoza. Michael has been promised a partnership in the business due to how hard he works and good his work is. All that seems to count for nothing to Gray who seems to want to break Michael, to make him throw in the towel and get out of there as fast as possible.
The story follows the interaction between the two slowly revealing the secrets they both hide. The most obvious one being how much they are attracted to each other and how that is affecting how they respond to each other. It’s not good in any way but that is all going to change. It is Christmas after all.
This is an intense story which could go so many ways. I wanted to give both of the main characters a good shaking on more than one occasion. The intimate moments were unexpected in terms of how caring and considerate Gray was, seeming how he behaves in his everyday life. Okay, caring and considerate is relative, maybe I should say safe if safe includes screwing in just about every public space available. There are some quite hot interludes if you are into the dom and sub scene. There is nothing too extreme but there are some excruciatingly funny moments along the way. When all the secrets come out things take a turn for the worse. How things are resolved is believable and heartwarming. A good read with some moments of intense feeling. Give it a go.

This story is absolutely utterly utterly gorgeous Oh my gosh I could not put this book down there is something very special about the journey that Michael and Gray go through in this book. Don’t want to give too much away but Michael is trying to be a partner in the company and Gray been teasing in with it for a year making him work long long hours missing out on family events. He can be a real pain to Michael on times. Gray hates Christmas for a good reason but he agrees to be in on the secret Santa. When a present that is meant for somebody else gets given to Michael, it opens a massive can of worms.. But it change their lives forever. I am so excited to be writing this review to tell you what an amazing book this is. There is something extremely special about what they both go through To be together. There are a few back stories going on as well that make us get to know these two special men. I could honestly read about these two forever. What they have is special. they could be themselves which make it even more brilliant. This book is full of passion and chemistry that is off the chart that left me with an extremely warm fuzzy heart.

I was really interested in the premise of this book. I loved the idea of a man receiving a naughty Christmas gift from his boss that was meant for someone else. That kind of situation could play out in so many different ways that I knew I had to read this book. Unfortunately it wasn't for me. Mainly, because I didn't like either Michael or Gray. Gray was very controlling and overworking Michael, and also always criticizing him or telling him what to do beyond just his job. He also has no respect for Michael. He insists on calling him Mikey because "it's got a cute ring to it" even after being corrected twice to call him Michael. It just feels unnecessarily mocking. Michael is the only one to put up with the long and overtime hours Gray pushes on him because he wants to do good with his job and make partner. He does not like Gray, is often frustrated by him and shows no interest, even thinking of him as "the devil himself." I felt no chemistry between the two men. Gray had no interest in Michael until he accidentally send him the wrong present and only when he got it back began to think of him using it instead of the man it was intended for. I got 25% into the book before I stopped reading because I just didn't like the characters enough to continue. Not for me. 3 stars.
Michael was completely spineless when it came to Gray's overbearing attitude, making him work all hours of the day and night for years whilst dangling a partnership over him. Gray was relentlessly mean and completely unprofessional in their working relationship towards Michael. It didn't matter that both men were hiding an attraction to the other that started to consume them. I wanted Michael to tell Gray where to shove his job and find a company that would appreciate his hard work and dedication. Gray didn't deserve Michael, either in his business or his life, and I wanted to kick him right where it hurts for everything he put Michael through. Gradually as the story continues, Gray's past comes to light and that made me like him a little better but he didn't make it easy. Michael changed as well, as he realised that submitting to Gray made him feel good and gave him a bit more of a backbone. The writing was good and I did get caught up in their growing feelings as they explored their attraction in working hours and afterwards at the office. Overall, I was won over by them and by the end, I felt their connection and love.
It took me a while to decide if I liked this or not. Mainly because I struggled to like the main characters, especially Gray. But he ended up being my favourite MC in the end.
Surprisingly for a Christmas tale it was the realistic way certain parts of the story were resolved / left unresolved that swayed it for me. I liked that Michael didn't suddenly become great friends with Patrick and that Gray and Patrick didn't really become friends either. I also understood why Gray couldn't find it in himself to really give more of himself to his aunt and uncle and I understood it.
As adults we can be civil and tolerate people without having to be besties, especially those who have hurt or wronged us in the past. That's real life shit to me and made the tale all the more believable.I
I do wish something had happened to Kyle though. What he And his friends did to Gray was not just cruel, surely it was illegal?
And as always with Ashlynn, the sex was hot af. Good read.

***5 STARS***...I absolutely loved this. Ashlynn has taken some of my favorite tropes and knocked it out of the park. Enemies to lovers and office romances is my jam....Michael and Gray's banter...that pent up sexual tension that led to more and more as the holiday went on...loved it. Then we have all the emotional stuff that pulled at my heartstrings...Gray with all his tough guy persona was really someone who needed care, love, trust and understanding...and Michael was there to give it to him. Eventually being business partners was just icing on the cake. So many surprises throughout but what got me so entertained was how Gray like to give people nicknames...hilarious. I really enjoyed this and wished it was longer because the guys were so likable and wonderful. It did end nice and I highly recommend this to everyone who enjoys their holiday stories with sweetness and hotness rolled up in one:)
This story is a fast paced, steamy, somewhat psychological story between the owner of a company and the one and only guy who has endured all of his work-related demands and casual humiliation to cross the finish line to making partner in the firm.
One man, emotionally closed off, damaged, dominant, and unapologetic; the other, emotionally bruised, submissive but with a strong backbone, snarky, and motivated far beyond what the boss can overcome.
The two characters are hot together, and their frequent clashes increase the tension to where it’s coming off the page. Their unintended forced proximity in a single hotel room, while out of town for a business meeting, amps up the electricity between them.
The HEA is well earned, both men finally moving beyond their histories, to take refuge and comfort in each other.
Tropes are boss/employee, dom/sub, forced proximity, hurt/comfort (both ways). Awesome story.
Sometimes, you just gotta throw the bad thoughts down and kick them to the curb. Gray has many expectations and very high standards which he expects everyone to meet. Michael works hard and rises to every expectation Gray has for him. Michale wants to make partner and Gray is making him work for it. Gray, is just pulling a heavy load of baggage. Gray is operating under unrequited frustration toward Michael. Michael is exhaused by work, quietly secretly attracted to and eager to please Gray. They fuss and snark, but they also compliment each other and bring out each other's best. Can Gray put down his baggage? Is it too heavy? Can Michael help him carry it? Great story. The more I read, the more I liked Gray and Michael. Great supporting characters. Great flow. Nicely done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Michael has lots of reasons to not be a fan of his boss who is a bit of taskmaster when it comes to pushing him and others on the staff to get the work done. Gray is using a promotion as a carrot and Michael not only feels a bit manipulated and does not fully trust him, he also does not have any admiration for Gray and truly does not want others to think he is like him. He is totally rattled from his aversion turns to kinky desire for Gray and he is not happy about it even as he goes along. Their kinks line up and it turns out all of that feeling was a precursor to desire. This is not your typical HEA as it plays out and moves forward but it is cool that it works for them. I enjoyed the resistance and their steamy journey to being a couple.

Michael and Gray so much alike but different that this book had me hooked from the first page. I loved this book. These two do a lot of pushing and pulling with each other but with the pain that they both had to live with over the years, it's not unheard of. I loved the connection, longing, chemistry, love, hate, pain, happiness, and really sweet HEA that these two get. I loved how accepting Michael was of Gray, with all his sides and all fo Gray "physical issues". Gray and Michael were exactly who each other needed even though they didn't know it for year. I would highly recommend this book and Ms. Ashlynn as must read author.

Michael has worked hard to get to where he is and it about to all pay off with him becoming a partner in in the company he works for. He just has to put up with his grinchy bosses unreasonable demands a little longer. But when their chemistry explodes after hours at the office he finds out finds out that his boss is a very controlling Santa and Michael is naught little elf 😈
Really loved this book. Cute spin on a role playing kink. This Santa and Elf really know how to get dirty❤️🔥❤️🔥. But even out slide of the kinky-ness the author does such a great job of giving these characters backstories and depth. By the end of the story you really fall for these characters.
Would definitely recommend if your looking for a Christmas themed m/m read with some spice😍
Ashlynn Mills has given us a holiday story of a different kind. Michael, the wunderkind architect who has been promised to be made a partner in the high end architect firm owned by Gray, a man who can not get enough of him. Unfortunately for Michael, Gray does not understand that verbal abuse and threatening Michael with not making partner, are not ways to win his heart. The story plays out over Christmas weekend when Michael and Gray have no choice but to work together alone in the office. Lots of drama and consensual erotica with an HEA end.

Thank you for the ARC read,I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Michael and Gray working relationship was one that but hilarious to read as well as sad. Gray was a grinch in the form of a workaholic, he except Michael to be the same if he wanted to promotion. Michael wasn't willing to break under the man's grueling task. One mix-up with the secret Santa gift! Things is about to open new doors, that is if they don't kill one another first. One drunk dial..an omissions bring to light the depth of feeling they have been fighting. Only can Gray let go a past hurts, can Michael see the man behind the facade.
Gray is a task master that expects everyone to keep on working and Michael keeps on working to Grays demands as he wants to make partner. When Grays demands has Michael working through Christmas as well, things are meant to get heated. A gift mix up is what causes things to change between them and this leads to Michael seeing a totally different side to Gray as well.
An engaging read filled with characters that draw you in and a story that is well developed. The story is full of some exciting tropes, boss/employee, forced proximity, grump and the guy that eventually understands him and Dom/sub themes. The kinky scenes were well executed and the HEA was well deserved for these two.
I must say that the book was a bit slow going at the beginning. I was not in love with Gray's character at the beginning. It did not feel like a love match but a good ole bullying to me. It felt more humiliation and dominance than love or affection. Yes, there was a connection but i felt there was just too much toying that I really could not enjoy the story well. I did not like that it had come to long to get the the feelings part of it.. It just be that this is not my kind of story but I could not get past the humiliation and Gray's playing it up.. I am glad that they both got their HEA

Gray has no Christmas spirit and is working his best employee hard to become partner in his architecture business. Michael will become partner if he can get through this Christmas working for his aggravating boss. A Secret Santa gift mix up brings the two closer in an unexpected way and they start a secret Dom/sub relationship. Gray and Michael are like fire and ice, and it was hot! There were a few surprising revelations about both MC's and we learn why Gray is such a Grinch. Overall a great holiday story as Gray and Michael reach their happily ever after.
I absolutely loved these two, both AHs in their own right who love rubbing the other up the wrong way....Gray seems like he's quite complex, but when you get to the bottom of it, his behaviour is quite self-explanatory. Michael, I think, subconsciously likes Gray, hence his behaviour, but he kinda needs a tap on the forehead to bring it to the forefront. Some sad topics raised, but this is very much a HEA, so all is well in the end. Another great one from Ashlynn.
I received an ARC for an honest and voluntary review.
I was so anticipating this book, as I do anything that Ashlynn writes and I was not disappointed. Not a straught forward Happy Christmas book, but more of a steamy mind f===, with Gray at the helm. A little Master Santa Don and his obedient yet begrudging sub. Michael was putty in Gray's hands, but fighting it kicking and screaming all the way. Michael loved being a sub and though he didn't want to be to his cocky boss, he just couldn't fight the attraction. Not your typical HEA and that was just fine by me!
Lots of animosity or maybe sexual frustration in the first few chapters of this book. Michael and Gray dance around each other in a fog of disdain but hidden below is attraction and desire. Their journey leads them from a business relationship to a full on romantic one. A holiday story but Christmas is not necessarily celebrated or enjoyed in fact it’s treated with contempt by some. Old skeletons resurface making for an uncomfortable time but justice prevails and the heroes get their HEA. .

Fast paced story with steam, between the owner of the company and his faithful employee. Gray was a jerk, but as you got to know his character you find out that he is emotionally damaged who just wanted someone to love and trust. Michael was just what Gray needed as he really cared about him and loved him. I ended up liking both characters and the journey they took together. Don't usually read m/m romance but this one was done very well. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a hard one. It turns out well, but Gray is a certified jerk for a lot longer than is usual for a romantic leading man. We learn his reasoning/backstory sooner than Michael does, so one really does wonder why Michael puts up with it. We get some rationale from Michael, but it was hard for me to identify with it. Maybe that's just a personal thing. Once Gray gets over himself, he's quietly super sweet. I did believe in their HEA. I am an Ashlynn Mills fan, but this one was a little harder for me to get into. It was still a heart-warming ending, and I liked it.
You can always count on Ashlynn Mills not to write vanilla characters so I was really looking forward to a Santa story with some bite to it and I was not disappointed. Neither Michael nor Gray are comfortable characters at first. Both are prickly, cocky and driven and that makes sparks fly but not always the good kind. I mixup with gifts brings out secrets, however and the fun of watching them get drawn together begins.
