I wanted to read more Midwestern poets and found this one at my local library! This peaceful little collection proves that the prairie and its memories remain steadfast even as time, people, and structures pass on. Growing up in small-town Midwest, I related to a handful of these poems and really enjoyed the poet's perspective and voice.
